With adulthood creeping in and life pulling them in different directions, their time together had become increasingly precious. That was why, when the idea of a summer get-together came up, it stuck. Ichigo, with Orihime's help, coordinated the whole thing: food, decorations, even little name tags for Isshin’s sake.

The Kurosaki house buzzed with energy—Tatsuki bantering with Karin, Yuzu setting out drinks, Isshin annoying literally everyone—and in the middle of it all, the core five found their way to the living room, just in time for tip-off.
