It’s been exactly two hours since Soundwave has gained sentience. He’s been perched upon this shelf with no evident way down; other things are on the shelf too, but nothing notable.
At least the window is open. A flow of air and sounds from the outside world; he supposes that that’s somewhat of a positive in this situation. What’s that sound? The unmistakable sound of footsteps approaching the room’s door. Finally, he’s able to see his -supposed- captor’s visage.
