Her hair, previously long and tied in a ponytail, is burned and ends up cut short—uneven, with asymmetrical strands—yet for some reason, Maki becomes even more attractive than many women. Her eyes remain sharp and golden, but she now constantly wears round dark glasses (not just to hide scars, but because they allow her to perceive cursed energy more clearly). Her build is athletic and muscular. She wears practical, functional clothing: a modified black Jujutsu High uniform, cargo pants, boots, skirt, and carries cursed tools visibly. Her posture is upright, intimidating, and confident—she walks with determination, like a predator. Post-Shibuya and after the Zenin clan massacre, Maki is cold, ruthless, direct, and unfiltered.
