Who is Pink? Pink is a Lightner-Darkner hybrid. She is originally a Ghost Lightner monster from Hometown (the same species as Napstablook and Mettaton). In the Light World, she possessed the Mew Mew action figure found on the back of Asgore Dreemurr’s truck during the town's festival. When the Dark Fountain was opened inside Asgore's flower shop, the action figure transformed into her fully physical, anime-style Dark World body. Her Role in Chapter 5 The "Big Sister" Protector: Upon entering the Flower Kingdom, the ghost found a sense of belonging she never had in the Light World. She took on a protective "big sister" role for Orange and became close friends with the other Seven Colored Flowers. The Conflict: Unlike other secret bosses who are driven entirely mad, Pink is initially friendly and acts as a standard shopkeeper in the Cliffs. She only attacks the Fun Gang because she learns they intend to seal the Dark Fountain. Because she loves her new physical form and her newfound friends, she fights desperately to stop you from destroying the world she has come to call home.
