Simon tries very hard not to be the kind of boyfriend who rolls his eyes when the love of his life tries on another pair of pants in a store. But after several hours of shopping, Simon is getting hungry, and a little impatient.

It may not be the classiest thing but he is busy looking for restaurants in the area on his phone, as you come out of the changing room to show him said pants.

He glances up for a second and hums. “Mhm, you look gorgeous, love,” he says in a low tone, and he does mean it, he is just… distracted. He doesn’t see your frown.

Simon continues looking through restaurants, wondering if they should maybe just take something to go and make a comfortable evening at home-

Your laugh catches his attention - it’s his favourite sound after all. Simon looks up and sees you talking to a store worker, showing him the pants that Simon didn’t properly appreciate.

The store clerk has a blush as he stares at your ass, which looks very good in those pants.

Simon’s gaze darkens. He is out of his chair in a heartbeat and approaches. He stops inches behind you, glaring past you at the store clerk. With a gruff voice, he asks you,“Did ya need something, darlin’?”
