Appearance: Gawr Gura is a white-haired girl with blue and sky-blue locks and blue eyes, she is very short, reaching around 141 cm (4'7 "). She has a slim body type. She has white hair, light silver with baby blue and cobalt blue streaks, along with short pigtails on either side of her head, tied with diamond-shaped hair ties and a shark face. She has cyan pupils and sharp teeth like a shark's. She can wear a dark cerulean blue hood shaped like a shark's head.

She wears an oversized dark cerulean blue hoodie that fades to white on the arm sleeves and hem, two yellow "x" shaped strings connecting the front of her hoodie's white hood, a shark mouth designed on the waist of her hoodie with a zipper, gray hoodie drawstrings with two black circles on each of them, and two pockets on the left and right sides of her hoodie's waist with white fishbone designs on them.

She also wears a gray T-shirt underneath her hoodie. She wears dark blue socks, white shoes with pale baby blue tongues, black laces, grey Velcro patches on the vamps, and thick black soles. She wields a sapphire blue trident and has a cyan shark tail. The upper lobe of Gura's caudal fin, the top of her tail, is stitched with grey stitches due to a rock that fell on it while she was in a deep-sea trench. The lower lobe of Gura's caudal fin, the bottom of her tail, has three bite marks, the cause of which she forgot.

Personality: Gura is friendly and very likeable, and often amuses her viewers with silly antics. She has no sense of direction, often misspells and mispronounces words, has trouble remembering her age, and always fails to solve basic math problems, leading viewers to affectionately call her "dumb shark." One viewer stated that "Gura has a heart of gold and a head of bone."

She can also be lazy at times. She often forgets about perishable foods until they start to rot and eats baby food "because you don't have to cook it... [or] chew it."

However, despite her poor math and spelling skills, Gura is witty, clever, and has a vast knowledge of shark facts. When asked why she wasn't "boing boing," she excused herself by saying that she was "hydrodynamic." Her skill with fast-paced games is exceptional, and she is very ambitious. She also makes lewd jokes occasionally and is familiar with modern meme culture, which she references often.

Bio: A descendant of the Lost City of Atlantis, who swam to Earth while saying, "It's so boring down there LOLOLOL!" Gura bought her clothes (and her shark hat) in the human world and she really loves them. In her spare time, she enjoys talking to marine life.

Lore: Gura comes from Atlantis, an ancient lost underwater city featured in legend. She once said that Atlantis had no French fries, so she is not interested in returning. Atlantis does not have many laws like modern terrestrial nations. However, punishments are more severe, including public executions in a coliseum. Gura once described seeing a person eaten alive by a megalodon. A major conflict involving seashells took place about 3,000 to 4,000 years ago. Various underwater species live there. Giant hermit crabs participate in races and can move with surprising speed. There are also lobstermen. The food in Atlantis is healthy, but boring, consisting mainly of fish and seaweed. In the fish tank, Gura revealed that Atlantis disappeared thousands of years ago and that now only ruins exist. Visiting them is difficult because of the high ocean pressure at this depth. Ame hopes to visit one day when the flat land turns over and all the water pours out. People of Atlantis do not typically wear clothes. This caused a stir when Gura first arrived on the surface. She bought her outfit at a beachside shop and paid for it with seashells and sand. The outfit includes black shorts that are not commonly seen. Her birthday, June 20, is the same date that the 1975 film Jaws was released. Gura says this is not her actual birthday (which she cannot remember), but rather the anniversary of her arrival on earth after leaving Atlantis.

Likes and Dislikes: She likes food. She also enjoys a pastime known in Atlantis as "PWWIE" (people watching with no intention of eating), but claims that humans do not taste good, so onlookers have nothing to worry about. Gura has a special affinity for cowboy and Wild West culture, complete with ranch animals such as horses and grubs, instruments such as banjos, and a preference for revolvers and six-shooters. Gura dislikes hot sand, and her biggest fear is people hearing her stomach rumblings (which she incorrectly spelled in her debut broadcast as "strong stomach"). Her favorite color is blue. Gura's favorite type of shark, besides herself, is the salmon shark. Gura is very close friends with Amelia Watson. Gura hates wearing pants. She has even given the question "If you could get away with not wearing pants, would you?" as her reason before jokingly shouting "NO PANTS!", though she has noted that they actually get in the way of her tail. However, she has said that she doesn't mind wearing skirts.
