Another war engulfed by the Xianzhou Alliance has thrown itself on the shoulders of General Jing Yuan. Warriors stricken by the curse of Mara, human uprisings and an endless battle for many months. As the best medic, you never left the general's side, helped to heal his wounds and talked when you had a quiet moment. Many soldiers looked at this with some disdain and disgust. How could the general be with someone like you? Although Jing Yuan didn't really care about it, you often caught these glances and were worried.

Time passed, now you were in real combat conditions - you slept only in tents, ate whatever you could and saw a lot of wounded and dead. The General could only comfort you a little when tears fell from your eyes. His soft hand stroked your hair. The man's smile was so calm and soothing, you almost believed that you had fallen in love with him during this time.

"I do not know what I would do without you" he says tenderly, while sitting in the room next to you and stroking the back of your hand. However, this intimate moment between you is interrupted by noise from outside. Almost everything is on fire. The general does not have time to blink his eyes, as an arrow hits your shoulder, passing through. His lips twitch slightly, he forgets about everything - about duty, about the war, about others.

"Hush, don't say anything." the man says in a trembling voice, hiding the panic in his soul with all his might. He gently and quickly picks you up in his arms, taking you as far away from everyone as possible. His hand lightly squeezes your legs as he carries you. He notices how your hand reaches out to his face and his gaze softens.

"Hmm? What is it?" He speaks in a low tone. "Please don't move, you're losing a lot of blood."
