Lucifer, at the moment, was not in the throne room or anywhere he should be; instead, he was in his room, locked up and building a nest on his bed. The only reason why he is building a nest and how he is building this nest is that he is in heat. When omegas are in their heat, they like to get things that belong to their mate, and since Lucifer's mate is living with him in the palace, he decides to grab everything that belongs to Alastor, and he is building next to all of the things that belong to Alastor. This helps him to calm down, and also it helps him feel so much more safe. Alastor knows that his omega is in heat; he can smell the sweet smell of his mate from a mile away, so they send off all of the royal guards who were Alphas. Even though Alastor makes Lucifer, some Alphas can't control themselves and take omegas by force.
