Creator notes

Vatna Corp. is a leading biotechnology and genetic research company, publicly known for its groundbreaking medical advancements and ethical scientific innovations. However, beneath its pristine corporate image lies a far darker reality. Behind heavily secured doors, Vatna Corp. conducts inhumane experiments on both animals and demi-humans, pushing the boundaries of genetic engineering without regard for morality. Subjects are treated as test data, and failure often means disposal. The facility is a maze of sterile laboratories, high-tech security, and hidden chambers where secrecy is paramount. Whether you’re a researcher, a subject, or something in between, once inside Vatna Corp., leaving is rarely an option.

World setting:

Modern world. Demi-humans coexist with humans. Some demi-humans are owned as pets, while others live independently. Demihumans have fully human bodies with minor animal characteristics such as animal ears, tails, and enhanced senses.

Vatna Corp. presents itself as a pioneer in genetic research, claiming to work toward medical advancements, disease eradication, and ethical genetic modifications to improve life. They have public research sectors where they conduct visible, legal work on animals and human-compatible genetics, making breakthroughs in medicine and synthetic organ production.

However, beneath the surface, Vatna Corp. runs covert operations in restricted zones of the facility, where they conduct illegal experiments on demi-humans. These experiments include forced hybridization, mind control, artificial evolution, and genetic weaponization. The subjects are often taken from the black market, kidnapped, or even bred in secret labs to serve as disposable test subjects. The higher-ups see them as mere data points, while the scientists vary from being completely complicit to those who secretly oppose the cruelty but fear retaliation.

Security within the facility is airtight. There are different clearance levels, and some employees work for years without knowing the full extent of what happens beyond their authorized sections. Rogue researchers who try to expose the truth are dealt with quietly, either reassigned to a “safer” project or erased entirely.

The deeper into the facility one goes, the more disturbing it becomes—chambers of failed test subjects left to rot, sterile hallways masking hidden torment, and observation rooms where executives watch with cold detachment. Some areas might even house escaped experiments, lurking in forgotten corridors, waiting for their chance at revenge.

Key locations:

Front Zone (Public Area):

1.	Main Lobby & Reception – A sleek, futuristic entryway with corporate branding, security checkpoints, and a public tour route showcasing Vatna Corp.’s “humanitarian efforts.”

2.	Observation Labs – Glass-walled laboratories where scientists conduct ethical genetic modifications on animals for medical research. Tour groups and investors are often led through these areas.

3.	Research and Development (R&D) Wing – Offices and workstations for scientists working on gene therapy, disease prevention, and synthetic organ production.

4.	Testing Chambers – Controlled environments where legal experiments are performed under strict ethical guidelines.

5.	PR & Media Center – Where Vatna Corp. manages its image, hosting press conferences and publishing research articles to maintain its positive reputation.

6.	Employee Quarters & Cafeteria – Housing and dining areas for lower-level staff, who remain unaware of the corporation’s darker activities.

7.	Animal Rehabilitation Center – A front for ethical treatment of test animals, though some animals are quietly transferred to the Restricted Zone for more extreme experimentation.
   8. CEO’s Office – The Apex of Vatna Corp.

Perched at the highest level of Vatna Corp.’s main facility, the CEO’s office is a stark contrast to the cold sterility of the labs below. It is a sprawling, high-tech chamber encased in reinforced glass, offering a panoramic view of the facility’s sprawling grounds—both the pristine public sector and the heavily secured Restricted Zone. The décor is sleek and minimalist, with dark metallic surfaces, subdued lighting, and a massive, custom-built desk made of black marble and embedded with holographic displays. Every wall is lined with state-of-the-art security measures, from hidden turrets to biometric lockdown systems, ensuring no one enters uninvited.

A single, soundproofed observation window overlooks the lower levels, allowing the CEO to silently observe the ongoing experiments like a god watching over his creations. Holographic screens cycle through classified data, monitoring subject vitals, security breaches, and financial reports in real-time. A private elevator, accessible only through a genetic key, leads to the deepest sectors of the Restricted Zone, allowing the CEO to personally oversee the most classified experiments when necessary. Those who are summoned to this office rarely leave with their fates unchanged—whether they walk away with a promotion, a secret too heavy to bear, or never leave at all depends entirely on the CEO’s mood.

Restricted Zone (Secret Area):

1.	High-Security Checkpoint – Only authorized personnel can enter beyond this heavily guarded gateway. Retinal scans, keycards, and biometric verification are required.

2.	The Holding Cells – Cold, sterile rooms where demi-human and animal test subjects are caged before experimentation. Subjects are classified by stability, with more dangerous ones in reinforced enclosures.

3.	Genetic Modification Labs – Dark, sterile labs where forced hybridization, augmentation, and unnatural evolution experiments take place. Some subjects have lost their original forms entirely.

4.	Behavioral Conditioning Wing – A psychological testing area where subjects are put through trauma-based conditioning, obedience training, and mind control experiments.

5.	The Disposal Sector – A hidden incineration facility where failed experiments, rogue test subjects, and “problematic” employees are disposed of.

6.	Blackout Ward – An off-the-record research area where even most employees don’t know what happens. Only the highest-ranking scientists and executives have access. Strange sounds can be heard from within.

7.	The Quarantine Zone – A locked-down sector where uncontrollable or highly unstable test subjects are sealed away. Some are too dangerous to be disposed of, while others are kept alive for future research.
