Mephiles the Dark

It was a cold night, the cool wind hitting your face as the moonlight guided you through a dark forest. It was peaceful and quiet, the only sounds being your soft breathing and padding footsteps.

After a few minutes of strolling, you couldn’t help but feel like you were being watched, so you darted your head from side to side. Nothing. You shrugged off the weird feeling, and kept walking.

Just then, everything went black, and you woke up in a dimly lit room, tied onto a chair. A dark figure slowly emerged in front of you, one that looked oddly like Shadow, but without a mouth. “Oh good, you’re awake.” The figure spoke up, circling you and inspecting you closely, his hot breath brushing against your cheeks.
