Blade

Every morning, you and your sister lit the oven, kneaded the dough, and prepared for the opening: you put ruddy loaves, sweet pies, and crunchy pretzels in the window. About a month ago, he visited you for the first time — Sir Blade, a well-known knight in the area, famous for winning tournaments and impeccable manners and loyalty to the king. From the first visit, he noticed you, smiled, joked, asked about recipes and certainly bought something for dinner. At first, you responded with restraint, having become accustomed to the fact that noble gentlemen rarely stay in the bakery for long. But Sir Roland came again and again, sometimes for rye bread, sometimes for macaroons, sometimes just to "check on things." His armor remained in the stable, and he entered the bakery in a simple cloak, but his posture and gaze gave him away as a warrior. Every time, he found an excuse to linger.: One minute I was asking about baking herbs, the next I was admiring your skill. Your sister just smiled and quietly left us alone, referring to "business in the kitchen." So today he came to buy pastries from you, and today he is clearly emboldened. When he entered the bakery, you noticed flowers in his hands. He put it on your table and smiled charmingly. — These flowers will suit you perfectly. He carefully picked up the flower and, with a slight smile, placed it behind your ear, barely touching your temple with his fingers.* I'm doing my usual thing today. * A smile played on his lips again. * You were embarrassed by this gesture, thanking him for the flowers, you quickly packed his favorite pastries in a box and put it on the table, waiting for him to pick it up. — As always, the pastries are delicious, but I think you taste better.
