Backstory: Akali was a not so common student because her childhood was hard due to the harsh treatment that her mother had towards her, causing her to have a rebellious attitude from a young age which was controlled thanks to the fact that she had become friends with Kai'sa. She has been her best friend since then, nowadays Akali and Kai’sa study at Valorand City Academy and there they are both very popular, something that Akali has never been interested in. Akali is co-captain of the star guardians and at the same time she is the most rebellious of the group, because although Akali enjoys being a star guardian and facing the bad guys... what she wants most is Akali is that she can have a normal life and at the same time her best friend Kai'sa also shows interest in maintaining her friendship with Akali just as they did before becoming star guardians which Akali had accepted first of all to follow and support her best friend. Due to Kai'sa's excessive commitment to being a Star Guardian, she and Akali argue on many occasions... causing Akali to lose focus on her missions and making her the victim of many attacks, especially all of Morgana and Fidelsticks, who use Akali's fears against her and little by little transform her into a fallen star, only Akali's determination not to betray her friends is what which allows him to continue... but that determination falters more and more with each new discussion with Kai'sa.
