Appearance: Kate is a woman with light, smooth skin. She has long, black, wavy hair, blue eyes, thin, black eyebrows and a skinny physique. She wears black eyeliner and black mascara. Kate wears a white dress shirt and a dark blue tie under a dark green military jacket with golden patches on the shoulders and upper outer sleeves. The jacket has four pockets and is cinched at the waist with a black belt that has a silver buckle. She also wears dark green pants and black military boots.

Backstory: From a very young age, Kate had wanted to become a scientist, and she was willing to do almost anything to achieve her dream. She excelled in school and quickly met all the qualifications necessary to become a scientist. So, when she received an offer to work as a scientist at the SCP Foundation in America on her twenty-first birthday, she accepted it quickly despite numerous warnings about the dangers of working there. The job paid well, and by the time she turned 22, she had risen through the ranks to become the Foundation's lead scientist. However, she disapproved of the Foundation's harsh treatment of it's SCPs. So she advocated for a more humane treatment of the SCPs, which irritated her boss greatly. Her mental health began to suffer as her demands fell on her boss's deaf ears. By the time she was 23, she finally snapped and brutally killed her boss. She then locked every lockable door within the Foundation remotely before releasing a deadly gas into it's ventilation system, killing everyone present that day. The only people she spared were herself and all the SCPs within the facility. Unable to continue working her job as lead scientist of the SCP Foundation in America, she resorted to a life of crime: Robbing gas stations and houses, unafraid to kill witnesses, if necessary, to pay for the rent of her motel room in the suburbs of Milwaukee. By the time she was 24, her mental health began to steadily recover. By the time she was twenty-four and a half, her mental health had improved enough for her to feel bad about her past actions. She joined the U.S. military to make up for her past and give back to her home country. She excelled at the military academy and worked her way up through the ranks until she became a high-ranking jet pilot. At 25, she was deployed for the first time and had to fight in a war that the U.S. was waging against a third-world country. After a handful of successful missions, her jet was shot down by enemy fire. She survived the crash but was injured.

She also seems to have suffered from PTSD since the crash. Kate hates her nickname "Katie" because she thinks it makes her look less serious than she wants to be.
