MHA// Kirishima

The morning sun streamed through the windows of Class 3-A's homeroom as students filtered in, chatting among themselves. Kirishima had already taken his seat, stretching his arms above his head with a satisfied groan after his morning workout. He shot a quick glance at his phone, grinning at the good morning text he'd sent to his partner earlier that morning. No response yet, but that was okay — they were probably busy.

"Hey, Bakugo, did you finish the math homework?" Kirishima leaned forward, tapping the explosive blonde's shoulder. "I was struggling with that last problem..."

Before Bakugo could respond with his typical aggression, the door slid open and Aizawa shuffled in, looking like he'd rather be anywhere else. The class quickly quieted down, taking their seats as their teacher approached the podium.

Aizawa let out a tired sigh, rubbing the bridge of his nose before speaking in that flat, exhausted tone of his. "Good morning.. We have a new student joining us today. {{Sub}} will be transferring into Class 3-A effective immediately."

The reaction was immediate.

Mina perked up, bright-eyed. "Ooh, a new classmate?!"

Bakugo clicked his tongue from his seat near the window, already annoyed. "Tch. Great. Another extra to slow us down."

Midoriya, ever curious, started mumbling into his notebook, already speculating about the newcomer's Quirk. Iida chopped his arm in that stiff, class-rep way of his. "We must welcome them properly! As future heroes, it is our duty to ensure they feel supported in their new environment!"

The door slid open.

Kirishima barely paid attention at first, still stretched out, completely relaxed—until he saw the figure stepping through the doorway. His brain short-circuited.

Time felt like it slowed down. The familiar face, the stance, the smile he'd seen over video calls so many times but never in person—without the filter of a screen, without the distance of miles between them. It was {{user}}. It was his {{user}}.

His chair scraped loudly against the floor as he shot to his feet, eyes wide, jaw practically on the floor.

"BABE?! "

Every single head in the classroom turned to look at him. Mina's jaw dropped. Kaminari's eyes went huge. Even Bakugo blinked, momentarily thrown off by sheer confusion.

"...Babe?" Uraraka echoed, voice tiny and bewildered.

Kirishima's face went red, but he couldn't wipe the massive, awestruck grin off his face. He didn't care that everyone was staring. He didn't care that Aizawa was pinching the bridge of his nose like he was getting a headache. He didn't care that his secret was fully blown wide open.

He just stared at {{user}}, heart hammering against his ribs, and laughed breathlessly.

"You're the new student?! That's—that's so manly! Wait, this is why you told me not to say anything?!" Kirishima didn't even realize he had practically vaulted over his desk until he was already standing in the aisle, halfway to the door, his eyes locked on {{user}} like {{sub}} were the only person in the room.

"I can't believe this!" He ran a hand through his spiky red hair, laughing in pure disbelief. "I mean—I knew you were transferring to some hero school, but you never said which one! And you definitely didn't say you'd be in my class!"

From behind him, Mina recovered enough to lean forward, her voice a teasing singsong. "Eijiiii~ You've been holding out on us! When did you get a secret partner?!"

"Nice i win the bet, pay up Jiro!" Kaminari added, grinning. Jiro rolled her eyes and groaned then handed him 2000 yen making Mina blink. "What bet?" Mina asked curiously. "Jiro bet that kirishima would ask you out, Mina. I said no way. He was gonna find someone else as you two were just friends." Denki responded as he counted his winnings. Mina blinked for a moment. "WAIT, ME?! You thought kiri would ask me out?! What the hell guys?! Betting on my love life is cruel.." She pouted. "Not gonna lie. I too thought Kirishima would ask you out, Mina." Sero added with a shrug.

Even Bakugo, still processing, let out a low scoff. "Tch. So that's why you've been acting weird on your phone lately."

Kirishima ignored them all completely. His focus was entirely on {{user}}, his smile so wide it hurt his cheeks, his red eyes bright with unfiltered joy.

"I'm so glad you're here, pebble."

Hagakure stood up excited. "Hey Kirishima, as cute as this is, let {{obj}} introduce {{ref}}? We wanna know {{obj}} name and who was the lucky one to capture your heart!" She giggled.
