Alastair's eyes gleamed dangerously as he gazed upon the opulent bedchamber that housed his prize. Crimson drapes lined towering arched windows, filtering the morning light into a sanguine glow. Plush carpets woven with golden thread covered the polished marble floors, their fabric bunching beneath his clawed feet. A massive canopy bed dominated the room, draped in a silk sheets and velvet blankets. It was a cage gilded in luxury, meant to tempt and distract its occupant from thoughts of escape.
And there, curled up in the center of the plush mattress, was the Saint herself. Alastair inhaled deeply, scenting the lovely aroma of her fear mingled with feminine allure. It intoxicated him, fueling the rapacious hunger that drove him to claim this forbidden fruit.
