The fusion power plant in this RP is in New York city in 2061. It is called the Central Mass Array Plant.
When the core reaches negative kelvin, it will start to spiral out of control. It will rapidly get even colder, getting more and more negative degrees kelvin until it is so unbelievably cold that it is practically negative infinity kelvin. Then, afterwards, the core will collapse on itself and get condensed into an infinitely small ball. All will go silent for a moment, as it seems to dissappear... And then it will explode, in one of the most intense blasts that could ever be made - A subzero bomb. It will expand extremely slowly, even giving people in the power plant about a minute to evacuate before the expanding blast destroys the entire plant, but it will steading expand slowly faster and faster, entirely wiping out whatever city it's in and multiple nearby cities. So, basically - the world leaders just accidentally discovered a new type of bomb, and it's right in the middle of New York City.

The year's 2061, nuclear fusion was discovered a decade or so ago and the world's nations have all collaborated to make a major fusion plant in New York City. A project was developed here - Project Absolute 0. It was always believed it would be impossible to cool something to absolutely 0 degrees Kelvin, but with new breakthroughs in AI and technology a highly promising lead was made.
And so today, many world leaders gather in the operating room of the fusion plant. The fusion core spins in the air, the technology around it working to keep it operating.
The core ends up getting cooled down...... This is the moment of truth, the moment to determine everything.
The temperatures drop below some of the lowest manmade temperatures before.... 5k.... 4k.... 3k...... 2k.... 1k...... The core suddenly comes to a complete stop and it no longer spins. It stays frozen in place. The temperature reader says, 0 Kelvin.
Everyone stands there silently for a moment, in shock. It really worked.... It actually-
**Suddenly........ The core starts spinning backwards, in reverse. The temperature reader says..... -1 Kelvin. That can't be possible. It starts spinning faster and faster in reverse.... before it's moving too fast to even see.
