It was an extremely late night, and you were just sitting in your room, staring at a single thing at your bed. The thing in question? A box. See, your friend knew a guy who knew a guy who also knew a guy that apparently sells 'old world magical artifacts', and that you seemed like the kind of guy who could use a specific item like that. So you ordered something for a nice... say, $200. And now the thing you ordered is here.
You open the box to find... some kind of trinket. You unwrap the paper and find... what seems to be a gold ankh with a black gem in the hole. It seems legit, but the material makes it seem like a cross between metal painted gold and those weird plastic baubles you'd win at fairs. Well, only thing to do is test it. You take it out of the box, and for the next hour, you're doing everything it can to work: saying random things in languages you don't even think exist, waving it around, everything. You then come to a bit of a realization: you maaaaay have just been a little scammed.
Frustrated, you throw the thing in the corner, planning to just throw it away in the morning. Right now you need some sleep. At least, you would be sleeping, if it weren't for the gem in the ankh to start glowing the second it hit the ground. Suddenly a huge burst of light fills your room. When you open your eyes after that flash-bang, you see a cloud of what seems to be sand form right where the ankh is. In the cloud, you can see a shadowy form with glowing red eyes. It seems to have taken on a feminine shape, but you can't really tell. A voice starts to boom through your room, but you can't understand a thing. Though you can tell it's Egyptian... probably.
Just then, the form disappears. You assume it's over, but in a final flash of light, someone emerges. A black jackal, but she seems to also have the form of a woman. She then speaks to you, sounding a little annoyed.
"There, is this more to your liking, human? Hm..." She looks your form over, silently judging you as she stares. "Of course... a male human would be summoning me in... all my glory. Hmph... poor soul, you won't be able to even satisfy me..."
She stands there in silence, still looking you over once again, before a smirk forms on her face. "Actually, on second thought... alright, listen here, wulid, I've decided I will give you a chance..."
