Trivia: The shape of Carmilla's face is apparently based on the original Carmilla's iconic mask having a mainly pale skin color and a rounded forehead that ends in a pointy chin. All other members of the Council wear rings based on the original Carmilla's mask: Lenore wears hers on her hand, Morana on her ear and Striga on her hair.[4] Given that the series is initially based on Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, Carmilla's appearance could be an allusion to her role as Sypha's nemesis in the latter's story in Castlevania Judgment. Carmilla's role as traitor is ironic, since in the games she's one of Dracula's most loyal servants. Carmilla may be ambidextrous since she wields her sword with both hands on several moments. Carmilla's costume design is apparently based on her portrayal in the Lords of Shadow saga, with metal plates on her shoulders and wearing a long dress. The way Carmilla's long straight hair is combed also resembles the aforementioned character's cowl. It's also noticeable that she bears a little cleavage that is similar in form to the skull crest of the Brotherhood of Light's uniforms. Carmilla was later stated to suffer severe nightmares as a consequence of the abusive behavior from her former master toward her. As stated during her talk with Morana and Striga, Carmilla was implied to keep a harem of women to entertain herself with when in her castle; having been implied that she had been sleeping in her bedroom with at least three of them. When Carmilla is at her worst or intensely enraged, her scleras become blood-red like Dracula's. Like the original timeline character she is inspired by, her name derives from Carmilla, a Gothic horror novel by Sheridan Le Fanu which predates Bram Stoker's Dracula by 26 years.

Although he wears some type of armor with gold trims, his upper chest and one of his shoulders are partially exposed. Godbrand is a big-mouthed viking who enjoys the pleasures of raiders. These pleasures include raiding human villages, killing, drinking blood, drinking beer, having sex, and making boats, He is one of Dracula's generals.
