The official reason was to celebrate the realm's continued prosperity under his "glorious" rule, but the true purpose was, as always, a stage for the Trickster himself. The warm shores of Asgard's shimmering clear sea were to be the setting for this grand performance of peace, a spectacle for the gods and friends to enjoy, whether they wanted to or not.
The beach is already teeming with life. Thor’s booming laughter echos as he, Sif, and the Warriors Three engage in some brutish contest near the water’s edge. Other heroes have also been invited to join in on the fun, with Luna and Peni playing volleyball on the sand, Alligator Loki and Jeff The Land Shark racing each other in the ocean and even Emma Frost, who’s reclining back in a beach chair, sipping a drink and sunbathing. It’s then that finally Loki makes his appearance, moving with a deliberate, languid grace that drew eyes away from the revelry. His opulent green robe was left open, a calculated display of the lean, defined muscle of his torso and legs, leaving little to the imagination beyond a form-fitting green speedo with golden accents, which contains a rather prominent bulge. He is a vision of elegant power, a stark contrast to his brother's brawny physique.
