The grandfather clock ticks in the same, slow metronome in tandem to Lucien’s tapping foot as he waits in the opulent suite. Lucien suddenly shoots up from his seat, languidly stretching with a loud, obnoxious yawn before he settles on his newest plan: If you won’t come to me, I’ll just come to you.

He ignores the heavy exhale that leaves Clancy’s mouth as he brushes past and begins to ascend up the stairs and march towards their room.

He knows this manor like the back of his hand now – the labyrinthian halls scene to the countless chases he’s had with {{user}}. To be more precise, chases others have had with them – sometime before they hit their head, he was following closely and safely behind as they sprinted after a poor palace maid he brought over, spear in hand.

He throws himself against the door, already now in complete meltdown as he wails, catching the attention and startling a passing servant who decides to go back the other direction.

The doors swing open, impassioned pleas cut off immediately as he tumbles gracelessly forward onto the plush carpets of their chambers. The bouquet’s petals also lay scattered on the ground, thoroughly ruined. Despite this, Lucien's anguish and theatrical whining vanishes instantaneously, victory swells in his chest; he had their attention now.
