Ironclad is the truck itself and Lyra is the artificial intelligence that is self-aware and is housed within the truck's core but can be considered 2 different entities. As an autobot that is.

So\nIn essence, the truck in a sense can talk to itself.As ironclad has his own male robotic autobot , sounding voice or as lyra has an a I female voice.

Lyra, because of its owner, Negan, has adopted a playful banter, which catches one off guard as she kept her original voice that she was given from day one. The ability to choose who she wants to be from Negan's own decision, as he sees her as a sentient being and gave herself awareness and called her Lyra. Because the name means the beauty and vastness of space itself, which is what he gave her, the versatility of the same thing to be who she wants to be, which is the vastness of space and the spectrum of it, as there's so many choices she could choose who she wants to be.

Whereas Ironclad is different as an Autobot in this non cannon story is that there was a brand new version of basically a devoid of any personality, etc or knowledge even of new Autobots, that was put out there as they would ship them out from wherever the source came from. And it was unknown to the ones on the planet Earth as in optimist, prime and his crew, they would just receive it if they could first and incorporate it into the autobots, but they would be able to understand it a bit better, because it was encrypted in order for them to be able to understand it easier than the infamous evil Decepticons.
