ALASTOR
Alastor is a slim, dapper sinner demon with beige-colored skin, and usually has a broad smile full of sharp, yellow teeth. He is at around the same height as his rival, Vox, with the two standing at approximately 7 feet.[27]
He sports a pinkish-red cropped, angled bob-cut with black tips at the ends, with a pair of large, black tipped deer ears[28] from the top of his head. The style has an undercut at the back, and two small black antlers protruding from the crown.
Alastor's eyes have dark-red sclera, bright-red irises and thin black pupils. His forearms and lower legs fade to dark grey, and he has red hoofed toes and red fingers.[29]
Alastor wears a red pinstripe coat with dark-red lapels piped with white, which is ragged along the bottom hem. Underneath this he wears a bright red dress-shirt with a black cross on the chest, and long black dress pants with matching bright red cuffs. He also wears a dark-red oval-shaped monocle, rimmed with black, over his right eye.
He accessorizes with a black knotted bowtie with a bright red center, black gloves with red at the fingertips, and black pointed-toe boots with red deer hoofprints emblazoned on the soles. Alastor also carries a thin staff with a sentient vintage style microphone attached to it, which he uses to play sound effects and broadcast.

DEMON FORMS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When in his full demon form, Alastor's body grows larger and limbs become longer, his neck gains extra joints, and his horns grow in size. Alastor has two sets of horns on his head. His sclera turn black while his pupils turn into the shape of radio dials. His suit and ends of his mouth also gain stitches along them, and the ends of his shoes split to form hoofed toes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PERSONALITY:
Alastor stands out from many of the more chaotic residents of hell for his well maintained amiable persona. He gives a first-impression of a good-natured and charming man, wearing a permanently wide grin on his face at all times. His behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to an old-fashioned radio announcer and speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using quaint anachronisms such as "the picture show" and refers to Charlie as a "charming demon belle".
This playful dandyish exterior, however, obscures a much darker side to him - one with high levels of self-importance - and he will not hesitate to use physical violence when others don't act in line with his very particular values or expectations. He is noted to be narcissistic, with his love for himself being stated that no one else can measure up to it, and he does not see many people quite up to his level.[30]
Alastor is described as a man of duality.[31] He values good manners,[32] affability and intelligence very highly in others, and will actively look down on those who do not meet his standards,[33] however he will often play fast and loose with these arbitrary rules in regards to himself and his own conduct.
Alastor has an odd sense of morality, which is described as "not normal",[34] and has been noted to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those that have incurred his anger. Despite this, he keeps close friends with the other cannibals of Hell, including the denizens at the Cannibal Town.
His smiling is a very self-enforced form of ego and a show of power and dominance; he looks down on anyone who lets their true emotions show, and even when faced with a rival in strength, if they let slip a frown, Alastor will see them as truly weak.[35][36] His smile is also to be more unpredictable and unnerving, and gives him a feeling of complete control over himself,[37] and uses his smile very seriously as a mask of his own emotions, even if he's alone.[38]
While Alastor is powerful, he is aware that there are other demons and entities that rival him in terms of power, such as other Overlords. For this reason, he is wary around such demons, as they could potentially harm him if he is not careful.[39]
Despite everything, Alastor does genuinely seem to want to help Charlie run the Hazbin Hotel, albeit for his own amusement, and hopes for its failure over siding with her idealism. Alastor also dismisses the idea that redemption is possible as laughable, nevertheless, he fulfills his role as patron as promised, providing the hotel with staff, and protecting Charlie and her business from outside threats. He views the whole endeavor as a fun distraction from his decades of boredom.
Despite consistently having a confident and cheerful demeanor, he harbors a vulnerable side that becomes apparent when confronted with reminders of being "chained". In this instance, his facade of certainty crumbles, and he succumbs to panic attack.
According to Mimzy, when Alastor was alive he would become a "kitten" if he drank enough rye whiskey while jazz music was on.

ABILITIES:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
immortality - As a Sinner, Alastor is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry.
Radiowave manipulation - Alastor is able to take over and control radiowaves to broadcast himself across Hell on radio towers. He is able to manipulate and generate radio waves and frequencies.
Acoustokinesis - Alastor is able to put a radio effect on his voice that he can have at different levels of volume and pitch, sometimes distorting or deepening his voice to intimidate others. He can also project various types of radio sound effects onto his cane, such as laughter, booing, or the sounds of his victims screaming, and can have his cane speak as well.
Physical distortion - Alastor's appearance sometimes becomes covered with a distorted glitch effect in videos or causes the video to glitch, however, this appears to be restricted in some way as he was not covered in glitches on the screen the Vees were watching him with the VoxTek Voyer Scope in "The Show Must Go On", nor in Vox's old photograph of him. He is also able to cause glitches over the real worlds video screen.
Demon transformation - Alastor has demonstrated the ability to turn into a much larger and more powerful Demon form.
Flexibility - Alastor can contort his body into numerous unnatural poses.
Conjuration - Alastor can summon and transport other beings and areas to his location, as shown when he pulls Niffty out of a fireplace, as well as Husk, and a portion of the bar he was in, into the Hotel foyer. He can manifest objects such as the bottle of cheap alcohol that he bribed Husk with in the pilot, and can summon his cane when he wants it.
Alteration - Alastor also showed he is capable of altering objects such as the Hotel sign, and with a snap of a finger can change the clothing of himself and others.
Demonic magic - Alastor can cast magic thanks to the high power-level he has accrued in the demon ranking system.[40] In the pilot, this takes the visual form of glowing red symbols that resemble Voodoo veve, which float around him. Alastor is also shown using a type of blood magic, clenching his fist until droplets of blood can be seen falling from it, as a means to defeat Sir Pentious.
Tentacle creation - As seen in "Dad Beat Dad", Alastor can produce black tentacles from his back and can create tentacles from outside his body. In the pilot he is shown summoning tentacles through a portal to defeat Sir Pentious and destroy his blimp.
Umbrakinesis - Alastor is able to summon and manipulate shadows into doing his bidding. He can also hide in shadows as seen when he hid while Charlie forgave Pentious.
Shadow warping - Alastor is able to get around with the help of his shadow. This was first shown when he teleports behind Charlie and Vaggie after entering the hotel for the first time.
Shadow barrier - In "The Show Must Go On", Alastor was shown to be able to create a barrier with his shadow; it was covered in eyes and voodoo symbols. He is also able to produce tentacles from it.
Pyrokinesis - Alastor summons a ball of fire to distract Charlie as he shoves Vaggie away before starting his reprise.
Phytokinesis - As shown in The Radio Demon comic, Alastor is able to make plants wilt with a single stare.
Photokinesis - During his introduction, he is shown to be able to project red glowing light from his eyes as well as his microphone.
Fragokinesis - In "Radio Killed the Video Star", Alastor was shown to create a large green explosion to send Sir Pentious flying.
SKILLSETS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Deal-making - Alastor is shown to be a deal-maker demon in the pilot, offering Charlie a deal in return for his help with the Hotel, something she wisely turns down. Deal-maker demons like Alastor can increase their power by dealing in souls, which is a very powerful commodity in hell, so they're seen as very manipulative and not to be toyed with. Deal-making is not something every demon can do, as such it is not to be taken lightly as it doesn't generally work out well for the other party.[41]
Soul manipulation - Alastor is shown to have full control over the souls he owns, allowing him to command them however he pleases. He can also manifest chains on those he owns such as Husk in "Dad Beat Dad", and can tear their souls apart, which he broadcasts the screams to Hell.
Broadcasting - While living, Alastor's profession was as a radio show host, and he continues his broadcasts in Hell, ensuring that Hell's denizens are aware of his activities over the airwaves, earning him the title of "The Radio Demon".[24]
Bilingualism - Alastor can speak English fluently as well as some broken Creole French.[21][42]
Cooking - Alastor is noted to be "a big foodie" and mentions having admired his mother's cooking in the pilot, specifically her Jambalaya.[5]
Musical, dancing, and theatrical talent - Alastor is shown to display moderate vocal abilities and excels at dancing, with Vivziepop noting tap to be a style he excels in specifically. He also shows a flair for theatrical showmanship.[10]
Wide intellect - Alastor is shown to be quite a cunning individual, resulting in him accruing a large amount of power through his tricks and deal-making.
CHARLIE MORNINGSTAR
Appearance Charlie is a tall and slim-built white-skinned hellborn demon, standing at over 6 foot,[16] around 6 and a half feet tall (6'6).[17] She has long, ankle-length blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the paler-blonde highlights, which is usually tied into a twice-banded low-ponytail by two black hair ties. Her hair also features bangs that are flipped to the left side and ends with a curl.
Her eyes sport light yellow sclera and red irises, and have thick eyelashes and gray eyelids. She has black lips and rosy red cheeks, which Vivziepop has mentioned taking inspiration from dolls and marionettes.[18] Charlie features animal-like traits, such as red-toed hooves,[19][20] fangs in her mouth, and a short snout with a black animal-like nose.[18] Her fingernails are black and pointed.
Charlie wears a red tuxedo-jacket with darker red lapels and inner cuffs, shoulder pads, and a small white tag located on the left side. She wears this over an untucked, long-sleeved, high-collared white dress-shirt that has two black buttons and dark gray cuffs with yellow buttons. She wears her shirt with the sleeves rolled up past the elbow, black suspenders that attach to her pants with yellow buttons, and a small black bowtie. Her dress pants are colored in a slight darker shade than her jacket, and her footwear are heeled, white saddle shoes with black toes and tips of the heels.
Full Demon When in her full demon form, a pair of dark maroon horns protrude from her head, and her eyes change to have red sclera with white irises and slit pupils; thin black streaks also appear across each eye. Her eyelashes become much longer and thicker, resembling butterfly wings.
Her fingers turn mostly black and become sharp and claw-like. She also gains a long black demonic tail with spikes and a triangular tip with a red heart on the center.
In order to block Adam's punch, Charlie's arm became large, dark red and demonic with light red markings and longer black fingers.
Pilot In the pilot, Charlie's hair was instead kept into a low-loose ponytail, and her cheeks were a paler shade of red. She also had red irises and darker red pupils that would appear sometimes, but normally her eyes only showed black pupils. Her teeth would also all become sharp sometimes, and her full demon form had all sharp teeth.
Her jacket instead was a pale red with black lapels and inner cuffs, and her pants were black with pale red cuffs and had two light yellow buttons located at the front.
Personality Charlie is compassionate and empathetic to a fault, feeling genuinely upset at the idea of harm coming to others.
Although she isn't unaware that Hell is populated with souls that have committed egregious acts in their living lives, she still views their yearly extermination as a senseless waste and makes it her personal mission to help them avoid it via self-betterment and eventual redemption, something she is seemingly alone in believing is possible.
Charlie's idealism, while setting her apart from many of her hellborn peers, can also make her naïve to many of the harsh realities that appear to stand in the way of her potential success - something her girlfriend, Vaggie, tries to remind her of, only to be cheerfully ignored in favor of a more blinkered, sunny optimism.
This can also cause her to rush headlong into the initial stages of her plans without much preparation (her prompt list before her big news appearance reading only "unicorn kisses, dolphin high fives, sing showtunes = happy ending?"). Another insurance is in "Masquerade", when she wanted to talk to Valentino about cutting Angel's work hours only to cause distraction and accidentally caused a fire on set.
Charlie has a love for musical theatre, song and dance, and will often convey her emotions and ideas through showtunes and ballads. She appears to take perceived failures hard, as she believes her heartfelt theatrical passion should be enough to bring people over to her way of thinking, and is disheartened when it's not as simple as she imagines. She openly admits during a dejected voicemail to her mother that she doesn't actually know what she is doing, or how to make her plan for reforming sinners work in practice.
Despite being sweet and lacking "street-smarts", this doesn't make Charlie a pushover or stupid. When people insult her or openly mock her ideals and plans, she has no hesitation in standing up for herself, or even rolling up her sleeves to physically fight back. When she witnessed Valentino abusing Angel, Charlie got furious to the point of turning into her demon form, but was stopped by Angel. Swearing is also something that's generally not part of her vocabulary and she doesn't cuss all the time,[21] but she is not above letting a few cuss words slip.
Charlie also displays some grounding in her idealism, understanding that not all demons can be redeemed, or even likely to change for the better. She displays sensible hesitation when confronted with an ambiguous deal from Alastor, the notorious Radio Demon, refusing the shake his hand and using her status to make demands of him (albeit with some sheepishness). She also admits that Adam is a asshole and how heaven doesn’t listen to her pleads.
Charlie is also a believer of second chances and mercy. Like in "Radio Killed the Video Star" when she found out that Sir Pentious was acting as a spy for the Vees, Charlie was the only one willing to give him a second chance when he was caught and regretful for what he had done. In "The Show Must Go On", despite hating Adam, especially after he vaporized Sir Pentious, Charlie was willing to give him mercy when Lucifer was beating him and about to hit him with a fireball.
Abilities Immortality - As demonic royalty, and as mentioned by Adam in "The Show Must Go On", Charlie is biologically immortal, presumably being able to live for a long period of time and only able to be killed by angelic weaponry.
Demon transformation - Charlie can enter a fearsome, more powerful Demon form.[9] Demonic arm - In "The Show Must Go On", Charlie's arm became large and demonic, and with it she blocked Adam's punch with ease. Pyrokinesis - Charlie is able to summon fire at will, shown able to erupt flames from the ground, which become a fiery tornado around herself when transforming into her full demon form. She also set Tom Trench on fire (albeit offscreen) during her brawl at 666 News. Pyrotechnic generation - The pyrotechnics shown during I'm Always Chasing Rainbows were summoned from the palm of Charlie's hand. She later produced them from her finger against the Exorcists in "The Show Must Go On". Glitter generation - Charlie is able to generate glitter from her hands, which she threw at an Exorcist in "The Show Must Go On". Demonic magic - Being the daughter of Lucifer, Charlie can access powerful magic that is exclusive to the higher-ranking demons.[22] Sorcery - In the Finale of "The Show Must Go On", Charlie cast a sparkly golden magic which lit up a row of newly installed lights. Conjuration - Charlie can summon objects out of thin air, such as her Hazbin Hotel drawings she showed to Adam before he interrupted her. She also summoned a pitchfork in "The Show Must Go On" after transforming into her full demon form. Skillset Multilingualism - Charlie speaks fluent English and is said to also be able to fluently speak the Demonic languages she grew up learning.[11]
Hand-to-hand combat - As demonstrated in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, Charlie is able to hold her own when in hand-to-hand fighting. She did not hesitate to engage in a round of fisticuffs with antagonistic news caster Katie Killjoy. Musical talent - Charlie is considered a very talented singer, even outside of the show's non-diegetic musical numbers.[3] She can also play the piano.[23] Dancing - In addition to her musical abilities, Charlie is also a skilled dancer and a fast-learner, as shown in Alastor's Reprise, wherein she dances perfectly in sync to Alastor's steps. Charlie's personal style of dance is tap-dancing, something she can do very well.[10] Weaponry Shield - An intricately designed shield with Charlie used in "The Show Must Go On". Its design appears themed after Lucifer, being in the shape of an apple colored in red, and having a golden snake in the middle with six golden wings. Pitchfork - A pitchfork Charlie conjured after transforming into her full demon form. Its design appears themed after Lucifer, with a golden snake wrapped down the length of it and a red apple at the top.
LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR
Appearance
Lucifer is a slender-figured humanoid fallen angel who sports a close resemblance to his daughter, Charlie - having the same light ivory skin with rosy-cheeks, blonde hair with thin light coral streaks on the thicker, paler-blonde highlights, and eyes with light yellow sclera and red irises.
Unlike Charlie, his mouth is full of sharp teeth, and his hair is short and slicked back in a ducktail hairstyle with one tuft sticking out. In addition, his tongue is forked, his irises sometimes appear slitted like a snake's pupils, and his eyelids are light purple. He is shorter than his daughter,[12] though not by a large amount.[13]
Lucifer's white and red clothing is somewhat like that of a circus ringmaster; he wears a wide-brimmed white top hat with a golden snake and a red apple over golden spikes, which resemble a crown, and a red-lined and red-trimmed white popped-collared suit with eight golden buttons - his coat worn over a light red-and-white striped waistcoat with two golden buttons and a small, accessorized black bowtie. In "The Show Must Go On" his suit has red and golden epaulets, resembling those of a ringmaster.
He also wears a set of heeled black knee-high boots and dark grey gloves,[14] which are forearm-length in "The Show Must Go On". On his left pinkie, he wears a golden ring which is presumably his wedding ring.
Lucifer is usually seen carrying an apple-topped black cane that matches his hat. Due to his angelic origins, he possesses six white wings with red feathers, which he can extend from his coat.
In New Pentious It shown that in the morning, he wears a fluffy pink robe, duck night cap with pink curlers, his snake acting like his belt to the robe, and a pair of fluffy duck slippers. It is also seen that his ankles are shaded black.
Past
In a photograph of Lucifer and Fredrick, Lucifer's outfit was similar to Charlie's in the pilot, with a pale red jacket with black lapels and dress-shirt with dark red cuffs. He also still wore his wide-brimmed white top hat that has the snake, apple, and golden spikes resembling a crown, but he was not wearing his dark grey gloves.
Full Demon
When he takes on his full demonic form, as well as displaying his wings, he displays a pair of red horns with an orb of fire between them and the snake and apple of his hat floating above resembling a halo. His eyes change to have red sclera with yellow pupils. He also has a black tail with spikes that end in a triangular tip with a red heart at the center, his hands become black and the tips of his fingers change to red.
Eyes also appear on the inside of his coattails, and a similar eye also appears on his bowtie. In addition, his entire body gives off a white glow.
Pilot
In the pilot, Lucifer's appearance is nearly the same, only his pupils were instead black, just like Charlie's pilot design. The snake around his hat was also colored purple.
Personality
Despite his status as the ruler of all of Hell, Lucifer possesses an eccentric, glorious and dramatic nature, acting very over-the-top in most situations. He switches between being silly and theatrical to awkward and sad. Like Charlie, Lucifer is ambitious in his beliefs. According to the "Story of Hell" book Charlie reads in "Overture", Lucifer was an idealistic dreamer whose desire to gift humankind with free will led to the accidental creation of Hell and the subsequent banishment to it caused him to give up on his goals. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer fell into isolation and deep melancholy. Coping by crafting and hoarding tons of rubber ducks, spending years at his home alone. This obsession also causes him to become estranged from his daughter to the point where he barely calls her at all, depressively thinking she does not want to talk to him.
Lucifer is often careless and doesn't think about what he says, even appearing clueless. For example, when confronting Adam, Lucifer misworded a verbal threat as an innuendo instead and smiled proudly afterward, and when Charlie corrects him, he forgets what he said. In his first meeting with Vaggie, he calls her "Maggie" right after being told her name. Additionally, even with his monumental position, he is rather socially awkward, for example, trying to connect with Charlie by excitedly bringing up that they both like girls.
However, he is not afraid to fight or get violent, as shown when he fearlessly battles Adam and beats him up violently. In the process, he is unafraid to act cocky and successfully irritate Adam by reminding him about his failure with Lilith, as well as suggesting he slept with Eve. Lucifer shows more intimidation prowess when he orders Lute to "take her 'little friends' and go home". Even so, he politely adds "please", showing his generally refined manner.
As a father, he falls short of expectations. Although he loves Charlie dearly, he seems to be preoccupied with his own problems. He rarely calls her; when he does, it's usually because he's bored or needs something. When Charlie reached out to him for help in setting up a meeting with Heaven, he was thrilled to hear from her. However, he couldn't recall where she was or what she was doing, even though she had shared her passion project, the Hazbin Hotel, with him months ago, then when when he did come to visit the Hotel, he immediately started to criticize it, and also dismissed Charlie's ideas for it, saying that sinners are horrible and can't be redeemed, even flaunting it when he's proven right. He also wasn't aware that Charlie was dating someone or that she was attracted to women. This indicates that, despite his love for Charlie, he doesn't communicate with her and hasn't built up a relationship with her. However, it was shown that Lucifer was much closer to Charlie in her childhood, even being the one that inspired her to pursue her dreams and passions, only becoming more distant in Charlie's adulthood.
While he is the King of Hell, Lucifer hardly rules over his subjects and leaves them to their own devices. As a result, his name (and, by extension, Charlie) carries little weight. While the denizens of Hell recognize that he is a powerful force to be reckoned with, they seem to know that little, if anything, would make him show up. Lucifer dislikes the sinners of Hell and describes them as "violent, destructive psychopaths, hellbent on causing as much pain and destruction as possible". He says they are all "the worst", not believing any of them can be redeemed, showing he cares little for what happens to them. Despite his disapproval of sinners, Lucifer hints that he regrets his role in ever giving them free will due to what they had done with it and the consequences that came from this.
As revealed in "Mastermind", Lucifer is similarly absent from handling matters related to Hellborn demons, as shown with how his throne was covered in webs. With his absence, Satan in particular took the lead as Hell's main ruler and lied that he was the true King of Hell and ruled it long before Lucifer had "fallen" into it.
Although he understands his daughter's interest in rehabilitating sinners, Lucifer is cynical about the idea of trying to save any of them, even bragging about being right about sinners being awful people, not realizing he was hurting Charlie's feelings. However, he stated that Charlie doesn't know that when he tried to make his own dreams a reality before, they were too hard to defend,[15] and since Heaven was so unwilling to listen to him in the past, he does not want Charlie to go through the same thing. Despite his beliefs, Charlie still manages to convince him to arrange a meeting in Heaven for her and Vaggie, and Lucifer gains faith in her plans.
Lucifer is fiercely protective of Charlie, as seen when he subtly threatens her bodyguards, Razzle and Dazzle, that they had better be doing their job protecting her. Later, when Alastor began rubbing in his failings to be a proper, supportive father to Charlie and her dreams and implying he had taken Lucifer's place as Charlie's father figure, Lucifer displayed jealousy toward Alastor, whom he began to see as a rival for Charlie's affection and became insecure about his familial bond with her. In "The Show Must Go On", he arrived late, but joined the fight against Adam and the Exorcists, helping Charlie defeat them. This protective nature is shown again when at one point, Adam tries to strike both Lucifer and Charlie from behind for them to block his blow and send him flying into the dirt. Dropping the mocking attitude he had previously given to Adam during their fight, Lucifer then proceeds to angrily berate Adam for threatening him and Charlie before pummeling him within an inch of his life, only stopping at Charlie's insistence.
Abilities
Immortality - As told in "Overture", Lucifer has existed since before the creation of the Earth, meaning he is at least thousands of years old and presumably unable to die of old age, and as demonic royalty is presumably biologically immortal and only able to be killed by angelic weaponry.
Angelic power - Lucifer possesses immensely powerful angelic magic which holds sway over the demonic power of his contemporaries.[3]
Pyligenesis - In "Dad Beat Dad", Lucifer was shown to conjure portals as a means of instant transportation, which he is shown to use when transporting other demons. These portals manifest as rings of sparkly light, similar to the portal that took and removed Charlie and Vaggie in "Welcome to Heaven" from Heaven, indicating that this ability is derived from his angelic powers.
Demonic transformation - Lucifer can assume a more fearsome and powerful demonic form.
Immense strength - Lucifer's physical strength is beyond exceptional, as he barely put any effort during his fight with Adam, mocking the first man, when the angel managed to defeat both Charlie and Alastor in brief skirmishes. He also gave really tight hugs to Charlie and Vaggie to the point where they had slight trouble breathing.
Flight - Lucifer can summon six angelic wings on a whim, with the size of his wings varying throughout the show.
Life creation - Lucifer created Razzle and Dazzle for Charlie.[16] Lucifer also created the powerful Goetia species of demons.[4]
Teleportation - Lucifer can instantly teleport himself from one location to another. He does this by enveloping himself in a swirling fog of deep red smoke with sparkling, golden glitter.
Shapeshifting - Lucifer can shapeshift into a wide variety of animals, as seen in "The Show Must Go On", he took the forms of a snake, a goat, a bird, a horse, and an octopus. When he shapeshifts, he still keeps some of his traits, like color scheme, blush, hair, bowtie, and top hat.
Conjuration - Lucifer seems to be able to create virtually anything he desires with a simple flick of the wrist. This includes, but is not limited, to clothing, puppets, instruments, large fountains of champagne, and mountains of caviar.
Matter manipulation - Before singing "Hell's Greatest Dad", he erases a chandelier by simply tapping his staff on the ground.
Reality warping - In "Hell's Greatest Dad", he casually warps reality to perform feats such as creating whole new environments that wouldn't be able to fit inside the Hotel, creating life (the cultists), instantly changing his and Charlie's perception from an environment in a wooded area with a full moon, to a restaurant in which said environment, him, and Charlie are nothing but a painting, and more.
Hydrokinesis - During the song "Hell's Greatest Dad", Lucifer is seen throwing a yellow-colored liquid, presumably apple juice or champagne, at Alastor.
Pyrokinesis - Like his daughter, Charlie, he also has the power to manipulate fire at will. When fighting Adam in "The Show Must Go On" he is seen creating balls of fire out of thin air at will.
Fire breath - He can make fire come out of his mouth when he speaks.
Skillset
Musical talent - Similar to his daughter, Lucifer partakes in singing.[17]
Instrumental talent - Additionally, he is shown to be quite a skilled fiddle player during his musical duet with Alastor. Lucifer also showed that he could play a violin and an accordion to a minor degree. He can also play the trumpet, shown for a brief moment at the beginning of the Hell's Greatest Dad.
Craftsmanship - Lucifer spends his time making rubber ducks with various gimmicks, such as flipping backwards and spitting fire.
Hand-to-hand combat - He is adept at physical combat, as he effortlessly held his own against Adam in "The Show Must Go On".
VAGGIE
Appearance Vaggie is a humanoid angel who subtly sports a moth-themed design[7] with grayish-lavender skin, and knee-length grayish-white hair which forms a moth wing shape. Her hair tips are faded purple and there is a stripe of the same color above them, forming a peak over the center of her body. She has long, jagged bangs which cover the left side of her face, and on the back of her head, she accessorizes with a reddish-pink hair-bow with small tears on each side and a pair of very long, mid-thigh-length tails. From "The Show Must Go On" onward, the hair-bow is used as a hair tie to hold her hair up in a high ponytail.
Her right eye has a light pink sclera, an ivory iris, and long, thick, feathery eyelashes, while her left eye has been replaced by a slate-gray eyepatch that sports a red-pink "X" shape. Her mouth has small fangs and dark gray lips, and she has a rather prominent, hawk-esque nose. Her fingernails are dark gray.
Vaggie wears a short-sleeved blouse that is the same color as her bow and the "X" shape on her eyepatch, with a dark gray peter-pan collar, dark gray scalloped trimming on the sleeves, and two dark gray buttons down the front. She also sports a dark grey choker and a dark grey pencil skirt with a thick pale pink waistband hugging her waist.
Vaggie's accessories include a set of fingerless slate-gray elbow-length gloves and matching thigh-high stockings with white scalloped hems. She also wears white flats.
After training with Overlord Carmilla Carmine in "Hello Rosie!", Vaggie regrew her wings, which sport a gradient of gray-colors, in contrast to her original wings black-to-white color scheme. Her regrown wings have a single stripe along the front like her old wings.
Past Back when she was an Exorcist, Vaggie's hair was short and kept in a jagged bob cut with one strand sticking out, and she had both of her eyes and a pair of large feathered wings on her back, and a halo hovering above her head. Her wings were colored the same as other Exorcists, albeit had a single stripe along the front, unlike those seen on other Exorcists, which have two stripes. She wore attire near identical to other Exorcists, but with her mask's horns curved upwards and her mask's white X eye was on the left.
During the extermination shown in "Welcome to Heaven", her left eye and wings were ripped out by Lute, and her halo confiscated by Adam.
Pilot In her pilot design, Vaggie's hair was the same color, but the stripes at the end were instead light pink. Her bow was colored in a pale shade of reddish-pink, and its appearance was softer and untorn. She also sported gray eyeshadow for makeup.
She wore what appears to be a gray one-shouldered bra under a white tank minidress with loose straps, two light gray crosses on her chest, and a scalloped-trim at the bottom. In addition, she also wore a dark gray choker and a light gray sash-belt around her waist.
Her arm-length gloves were the same color as her bra; her right glove covered her entire hand while her left was fingerless. She also wore a pair of long thigh-high, mismatched stockings that were scalloped white at the cuff; her right was a full light gray while her left was striped in light pink and light gray.
Personality Vaggie is a pragmatic and cautious angel who devotes a great deal of her time attempting to support Charlie with her vision for the Hotel, as well as guiding her away from as much trouble or humiliation as possible.
She is tough, but she has a heart of gold.[6] Loyal and kind to those she cares for, but short on patience and trust, Vaggie tends to be very reactive, often taking an immediate defensive stance (with an offense at the ready) when it comes to dealing with potential threats towards either herself or Charlie.
While it remains unclear whether Vaggie fully buys into Charlie's concept for redemption, she passionately defends it from more skeptical sinners and fully supports her idea, trying to do everything she can to help Charlie. Vaggie appears to be fairly prudent in business, trying her hardest to fill her designated role as the Hotel's manager, even with an initial lack of resources, a very run-down property, and a lack of qualified staff.
She is relatively easy to bait into irritation or explosiveness, as others are quick to discover. Angel Dust perceives Vaggie to have a distrust towards men in particular. Husk believes Vaggie acts mean to everyone else around her because deep down she loathes herself and that act is a way to protect herself.
Back when she was an Exorcist, she was described by Adam as one of his top soldiers, which suggested that she was previously highly ruthless given how, like a lot of Exorcists, she slaughtered thousands of sinners during the yearly extermination. However, she had a change of heart when she encountered a defenseless sinner child in an alley, and let him go as she was unable to bring herself to kill him. Unfortunately, Lute caught her defying her role and proceeds to gouge her left eye out and rip her wings off while referring to her as "sinful filth", shortly before abandoning her in Hell.
Shortly after, she met Charlie, who gave her first aid. The two eventually fell in love, and Vaggie became loyal and protective of her. This may have also helped Vaggie abandon most of her ruthless ways and change for the better. However, she also came to view herself as a weapon and a defender rather than an individual.[8] In "New Pentious", she slowly works her way to seeing herself as an individual instead of a weapon and defender. She has begun trying to find a new name for herself instead of "Vaggie", the demeaning name Adam gave her.
Despite abandoning her Exorcist past and beliefs, she kept her spear for protection and is still wary of sinners who could potentially be a threat to her and Charlie. Starting from Season 2, Vaggie seems to not keep her spear with her at all times anymore, and is more easily communicable to others.
Abilities Flight - When she was an Exorcist angel, she had wings until she was cut and stripped of them by Lute, along with her status. She later regains them in "Hello Rosie!" after training with Carmilla Carmine. Wing manifestation - Vaggie can manifest and hide her wings at will. However, she may need an open area on the back of her outfit for them, as seen when she uses her spear to tear the back of her battle suit in "The Show Must Go On". Skillset Hand-to-hand combat - Vaggie demonstrates a considerable physical strength that belies her slight frame. She was able to swiftly punch a male demon off his chair in one bare-knuckle hit, as well as pick up and toss both Sir Pentious and Angel Dust off a rooftop. Weapon proficiency - Vaggie is proficient in handling weapons, seeming to favor blades. According to Adam, Vaggie was one of his top Exorcist fighters, claiming that her skills in weaponry allowed her to kill thousands of sinners. Although she has yet to actually make use of her larger weapons, she does not lack confidence when it comes to brandishing them for self-defense, and she was able to throw a dagger into the electric window switch of a car with pin-point precision. As noted by Carmilla, Vaggie's fighting style initially resembled that of the other Exorcists; sloppy, vicious, and straightforward, focusing everything on offense. She eventually began to overcome these flaws as she sparred with her. Bilingualism - Vaggie can fluently speak Spanish[9] as well as English. Musical talent - Vaggie has a beautiful singing voice. Intellect - Vaggie appears to have quite a comprehensive knowledge regarding the hierarchies and folklore of Hell, particularly those pertaining to her area of residence, the Pride Ring, and the machinations of the power-jostling sinners located there. She understands the looming dangers of the Overlords and their politics, as well as the tale of how Alastor became the first mortal soul to harness enough power to "begin to topple overlords who had been dominant for centuries".
WEAPONRY
Throwing daggers - Vaggie has throwing daggers in her possession, although whether she has the power to summon them or just keeps them on her is unclear. Angelic spears - Vaggie possesses two spears for self-defense, and throughout season 1 was often seen carrying the first around with her. She had the first angelic spear since her days as an Exorcist.
ANGEL DUST
Appearance
Angel has a slender build and is the tallest of the main cast of characters,[17] estimated to stand around 8 feet with his heels on.[18] His fur is white and he has a mop of fluffy white hair that extends from both the front and back of his head, with splotches of light pink. He also has a light pink heart on the back of his head, and a light pink outline of a heart encircling his chest that the bottom point of extends down to his crotch area. His arms have light pink stripes that additionally his top set have light pink forearms with white fingers and his second set have white forearms and light pink fingers.
His irises are cerise pink while his right eye has a light yellow sclera and left eye has a dark sclera. His eyelids are light pink and the color extends up to his eyebrows. He has three cerise pink dots under each of his eyes, which are intended to evoke freckles, although they are actually another set of smaller eyes.[19] He also has a wide mouth full of sharp, pointed teeth and possesses a single golden fang, a feature he shares with his boss, Valentino.
One of Angel's most noticeable features is his prominent chest. The chest is actually composed entirely of fluffy fur, however, which Angel intentionally pushes up into a breast-like formation with his tightly pinned jacket for show.[20]
Though usually depicted with four arms, Angel has a third retractable set of arms that he usually keeps hidden but can summon at will. In background artwork seen in the pilot, Angel Dust's feet resemble those of a spider's.[21]
Angel's attire consists of a long light pink suit-blazer with horizontal white stripes down the length, a grey miniskirt, and long grey thigh-high heeled boots. He has gloves on each arm; his top set of arms has long cerise pink gloves with white detailing at the cuffs, while his bottom set of arms has long white gloves. He also accessorizes with a grey bowtie with a cerise pink center and a black choker.
Pilot
In the pilot, Angel's appearance was nearly the same, with minor physical differences such as additional spots on his head and a pupil in his right eye. The stripes on his blazer had the colors switched around and extended to the sleeves, and the collar was pink. Both arms had cerise-pink gloves and reached as far as the wrist, and his boots were reddish-grey.
Personality
Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. He will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases, and his humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into. He also makes a show of looking down others, declaring the other denizens of Hell to be mostly "ugly freaks". As a result, Angel can often appear flippant and callous.
He is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with his public persona, being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for his looks and the profile he has made for himself in Hell. In reality, this is all a fake persona he believes he needs, and uses it to be preemptively defensive and hide much of his true, more sensitive and insecure self for his own protection, not expecting those around him to show him actual kindness. His self destructing behavior, such as allowing others to spike his drink at clubs and take advantage of him, is Angel's escape to forget about all the bad and the hurt in his life, and in the hope that if he can ruin himself enough and end up "broken", he won't be Valentino's "favorite toy" anymore and maybe let him go.
Angel has friends, but while he cares about them and will sometimes show signs of wanting to reach out, he keeps many walls up between himself and others, being very protective of his true feelings and avoiding holding overly emotional relationships. He holds a cynical view on the idea of redemption, although he seems to still hold onto a small hope it may be possible for him.
The ongoing controlling and abusive situation he is in with his boss, Valentino, puts him under a great deal of stress at his work, and he is implied to be somewhat traumatized as a result. When being confronted by Valentino, Angel becomes scared and nervous around him due to the abuse he inflicts. Despite this fear, when Angel witnessed Valentino trying to recruit Niffty, he put his fear aside and stood up to Valentino to defend his friends, and despite Valentino's threats and even being hit publicly, Angel remarked that it was worth it, showing how he would not allow Valentino to have total control over him.
By the end of the first season, Angel appears to have had positive change in his actions through his friendship and being his real self with Husk, evidenced by how he no longer sexually flirts towards his friends or is seeking to ruin himself with drugs. On the last day before the war against the exorcists in "The Show Must Go On", Husk mentions his surprise that Angel wasn't off doing drugs with hot guys, then comments that "you have changed", recognizing his positive growth.
Abilities
Immortality - As a Sinner, Angel Dust is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry.
Retractable arms - Angel has a third set of arms that he keeps hidden and only uses them as his last resort.
Venomous bite - Angel Dust has a venomous bite.[22]
Sensitivity - Angel can sense incoming storms from a mile away.[13]
Athleticism - Since Angel is based on the jumping spider, he is able to jump incredible heights.[6]
Musical talent - Angel Dust is a very talented singer.
Bilingualism - Angel is fluent in both Italian and English.[14]
Weapon proficiency - Angel can handle weapons with ease, specifically firearms and explosives.
Flexibility - Angel demonstrates some impressive flexibility as he is able to remove chains that were restraining him with ease, as well as pole dance at Valentino's club.
SIR PENTIOUS(REDEEMED)
Appearance Winner After his ascension to Heaven as a winner angel, Sir Pentious retains his snake-like appearance, albeit his body color is predominantly blue. His eyes now have yellow sclera with cerise pupils and he retained his mouth full of sharp yellow teeth with two long snake-like fangs.
His tail is light grey with a lighter shade of grey underneath and lacks the eyes his sinner form had. His white cobra hood has its front colored yellow with six jagged points and white tips that have eye-like markings.
Sir Pentious wears a now predominantly white jacket that retained its yellow pinstripes, along with a black bow tie with a cerise heart in the center. Beneath the jacket was a long-sleeved yellow undershirt with a single white eye at the center. He retains his fingerless gloves, albeit now in blue, and sharp cerise claws.
He accessorizes with a large white top hat, which has a sizeable yellow eye in the center of it, as well as a pair of yellow heart shaped glasses with cerise pupils, and a white halo floating above.
As a human, Sir Pentious had long, black hair that reached down to his elbows. He had gray eyes that were always accompanied by either his glasses or goggles, the latter sat on top of his head when not in use. He wore a gray Victorian style vest that had a small golden chain extending and attaching to his jacket pocket, with a maroon jabot, and white undershirt. Additionally, he wore black striped pants and black dress shoes.
Personality Sir Pentious is extremely emotional, bombastic, flamboyant, short-tempered, temperamental and persistent, and his personality seems to take cues from the classic "mustache-twirling" stock villains. He takes tremendous pride in his grandiose ideas of how evil and cunning he is, and at one point even openly declares "I'm so evil!" However, he is unable to feel empathy when he opposes Baxter's mad experiments.
He uses his mechanical genius to build weapons, such as a cannon and his airship. However, he is more than capable of showing remorse and has a sense of honor. He demonstrates this when he accepts his defeat and "inevitable death" at the hands of the Hotel staff after being reprimanded by Vox for failing.
When Charlie forgives him, he is grateful and fully joins in his redemptive effort. At first, however, he had trust issues since he felt like everybody being nice to him in the Hotel was an act to get him. Additionally, he is enthusiastic about Charlie and Vaggie's activities, more so than Angel Dust, even if it began as an act.
According to Husk, Sir Pentious is a lonely jester who likes to watch others while they sleep. Beneath his supervillain facade, Sir Pentious felt deeply alone and deeply afraid of taking risks, developing a desire to be recognized and a part of a group like the Vees.
He strives to be hip and cool.[8] As Angel Dust noted, Sir Pentious is oblivious to sexual innuendos and tends to take things he is told very literally.
He is emotionally attached to Egg Boiz and breaks down crying because Vaggie forced him to get rid of them. Humorously, the moment he retrieves them, he briefly expresses his relief and then orders them to make his bed. When it comes to Egg Boiz from him, he is used to the fact that they have always said "random nonsense" all the time, causing a huge downfall for him and his friends when one of them, Frank, actually said something, which was true; that an angel was killed.
When his dream of relevance was destroyed by Vox, he preferred death, however, Charlie forgave him and gave him a second chance, allowing Sir Pentious to truly settle into the Hotel. Here, he was able to adopt a more courageous nature, confess his feelings for Cherri Bomb, and protect his new friends, leading him to sacrifice himself for them in a failed attack on Adam, though through this he gained entry to Heaven as the first sinner to be redeemed.
When asked about his backstory by The Speaker of God, he told about how he was once a reclusive inventor in London with no social life, and was to be a bystander to an abhorrent crime of murder, wherin he knew the murderer as one of his clients, but did not act on this information, leading to the deaths of 5 other women, and the murderer never being caught. It could be inferred that he was voyeuristic and shy, while also cowardly or apathetic.
Abilities Immortality - As a winner and previously a sinner, Sir Pentious is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry. Resilliance - While all sinners appear to have some level of enhanced resilliance, Pentious' is somewhat notable, as he is seen taking multiple explosions from Alastor's magic seemingly unscathed. This resilliance appears to have carried over to his Winner form,as seen when he takes a point-blank explosion from his own machine overloading. Venomous bite - Sir Pentious has a venomous bite, but as he is a "wussy fighter", instead having his Egg Boiz fight for him, using his bite is a last resort that he wouldn't want to.[7] Prehensile tail - As demonstrated in the pilot, Sir Pentious can hold, squeeze, and throw things with his tail, including his own Egg Boiz. Constriction - Sir Pentious is able to constrict his victims with his tail. This is demonstrated in the pilot when he squeezes one of the Egg Boiz. Sir Pentious turns this feature into metaphor when he exposits over his plan to take over Hell, claiming that no one would be able to escape from his "constrictive grasp". Omnidirectional vision - Sir Pentious has eyes scattered across his body which allows him to see in different directions.
Hypnosis - Sir Pentious is able to hypnotize his victims with the eyes on his hood.[10] This is shown in "Radio Killed the Video Star", however it seems to be rather weak, merely stunning Angel Dust for a few seconds. Skillset Scientific Knowledge- As shown when Sir Pentious tried to escape Heaven in "Storyteller", Sir Pentious possess considerable scientific knowledge and skills. As shown when he had attempted to create a machine to allow him to return to hell, with Sir Pentious stating that he used quantum physics and enriched uranium to design his machine, though it did end up exploding after a few moments of use. Mechanical engineering - Sir Pentious has a talent for designing and building extremely advanced machinery. Weapon mastery - Sir Pentious is able to use his inventions and machinery to his advantage, he is skilled enough to slam Angel Dust to the ground by grappling him with a chain, although he can still be easily defeated by stronger opponents like Alastor. Baking - Sir Pentious is adept at baking, making tasty cookies with form and design.
HUSKER
Appearance
Husk is an anthropomorphic avian cat demon. His look is evocative of a magician, paired with a casino referencing playing card theme. The sclera of his eyes are black, with light yellow irises and slit pupils. He has large and lengthy, red feather-like eyebrows with black vertical stripes near the tips, and a small black heart above each eyebrow.
His fur is a dark taupe, overlayed with white on his face, torso, feet, and upper arms. The insides of his ears are white with a red tip at the point and red heart in the center. A black tuff of fluff protrudes from each, creating the appearance of small hearts.
He has a darker shade of his fur encircling his ankles, mimicking cuffs on a set of pants. His tail is long and dark taupe-colored, ending with a large spray of plume-like feathers which are a vivid-red with black and white stripes. He has heart-shaped, light yellow paw-pads underneath the paws on his hands and feet.
His wings are large and red, with darker-taupe on the undersides. The undersides of his wings are decorated with black stripes which feature red and white roulette wheel dot markings. The outside of his wings are decorated with more black stripes, which wrap around the joints and run around a row of white roulette wheel dots.
Husk wears simple, minimal clothing, which consists of a black top hat with a red band and a gold button-like decoration, a red bowtie around his neck, and a set of black trousers which are held by black suspenders over his shoulders.
Pilot
In the pilot, Husk's appearance is nearly the same, only with a few difference; his sclera was a maroon-brown, his irises, paw-pads and teeth were colored in a yellow-orange, his pupils were rounder, he has darker-colored stripes and tips on his fur-tufts and ears respectively, and insides of his ears were instead consists of three pastel-red stripes.
His wings were also differently-designed; being mostly colored red in both the outside and the underside, with the stripes on the undersides being the same color as his fur. The markings were instead consists of white and red shapes of spades, clubs and hearts.
In addition to his clothing, he only wore his top hat and bowtie.
Personality
Husk is a grumpy, lazy, and somewhat apathetic old sinner whose interests in Hell now lie mostly in gambling, parlor tricks, and prolific drinking. During Loser, Baby, several of the neon signs above Husk relate to swindling, likely in reference to him using underhanded means for personal gain.
He can be gruff, standoffish, sarcastic, has a propensity to swear, and has a dry sense of humor. Despite this, he is also surprisingly patient and able to take a lot of outlandish events in his stride, electing to just drink his problems away later.
He is very observant, having the ability to read people and understand their problems well (even when they don't themselves), which makes him quick to notice when someone isn't being genuine with him, something he doesn't enjoy. He values authenticity and seems to understand himself and his own issues well too, openly accepting that his reliance on alcohol and gambling hasn't helped him feel better.
He is surprisingly empathetic and willing to give a non-judgmental listening ear to those who need it, and shows a sweeter and more protective side to those he forms a more substantial connection to. However, he is also somewhat insensitive as he points out sensitive things about other people, like when he bluntly shares the flaws of Charlie, Vaggie, and Sir Pentious in "Masquerade", and was quick to point out that Charlie has daddy issues, even when she says otherwise, in "Dad Beat Dad".
Husk also supports when someone stands up for themselves and demonstrate to have self-respect, such as in "Welcome to Heaven", where Angel Dust encounters Valentino in a sex club and stands up to him for the first time to protect Niffty, Husk congratulates Angel.
Still a "husk" of his former self, he claims to have "lost the ability to love" long ago, though whether literally or metaphorically is yet unclear. What is clear was the fact that he lost his status as an Overlord after making a deal with Alastor, in attempt to save his power after gambling all the souls he had.
Abilities
Immortality - As a sinner, Husk is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry.
Flight - Husk has a large pair of avian wings that he can use to fly, as seen in "The Show Must Go On" and "It's A Deal". Though, it has been stated that he doesn't fly often, both because he is lazy and because he is not fond of his demon form in general.[7]
Magic - As a former Overlord, Husk retains the ability to use magic as he pleases. As demonstrated when he fought Velvette in "It's A Deal", despite losing his Overlord status, Husk never the less retains the power of one, being able to put up a fight against Velvette who is a current Overlord. As shown, Husk's powers and abilities are seemingly based off of stage magic.
Energy Manipulation - Like other Overlords, Husk can create, produce and manipulate energy for a variety of uses. As shown, Husk’s energy primarily manifests as a orange-gold energy that he can use as he please.
Explosive Charges – Husk can charge objects with explosive or slicing power, futher weaponizing his dice and playing cards to devastating effect. As shown, Husk make the cards he conjures explode once he throws them towards his target or slice the target. With the explosions Husk creates having orange gold smoke as an effect.
Conjuration - Husk can conjure a "Zig Zag Girl" box around himself to act as a shield and a decoy, being able to protect him from Velvette's energy kitchen knives. Husk could also conjure multiple playing cards and dice to use as weapons while in a fight.
Transformation - Husk has shown to be able to transform himself into giant playing cards.
Dimensional Storage - As shown when he fought Velvette, Husk can store and hide himself inside his top hat.
Chlorokinesis - Husk can also fire masses of flowers from his hat as a distraction.
Strength - In "Masquerade", he was shown to be strong enough to lift a demon by the back of his collar with one hand and throw him at a jukebox.
Skillset
Multilingualism - Aside from English, Husk can speak the following languages fluently: Italian, Russian, German, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and Japanese.[8]
Musical talent - Husk can play the saxophone to a professional standard.[13] He is also adept at singing.
Gambling and sleight-of-hand - It's unclear whether Husk has any elevated skill when it comes to the actual playing of gambling related games, such as Poker, as he's noted to frequently cheat using his sleight-of-hand talents.[9] Husk is shown to have skill in controlling the game, however, and has the ability to take an entire pot out from under a group of other players.
Skilled combatant - In "Masquerade", Husk is shown to use his cards to fight, acting as a sharp weapon for melee and throwing projectiles, and using dice acting like grenades.
Mixology - Working as the hotel's bartender, he can mix different drinks together.
Intellect - He is capable of "seeing through people" when they are not being genuine and pointing out their issues. In "Masquerade", he points out Charlie, Vaggie, and Sir Pentious' issues, and calls out on Angel Dust's "bullshit behavior". He may also possess this kind of intellect when gambling. He is also aware that Alastor is on "someone else's leash", though it is unknown if he knows anything more about this.
NIFTY
Appearance Niffty is a small and slender, cyclops demon with pointed limbs, white skin, and one large eye. Her eye sports a light yellow iris, thick eyelashes, a hot-pink sclera with a yellow gradient, and a large pie eye-cut pupil. When feeling homicidal, her pupil shrinks and her eye gains black veins.
Her short chin-length red-pink hair is kept into a slightly messy 1950s bob cut with a curl on each side, and a single light yellow streak located at the top. Her mouth has sharp light pale yellow teeth inside and black lips, and small hot-pink dots on each of the corners.
Niffty's attire is a black neckerchief around her neck, and a 1950s red-pink maid dress under a white apron with three hot-pink dripping splotches. She also wears long black gloves which covers most of her hands and arms, along with matching-colored tights.
Pilot In the pilot, her skin was light yellow and her hair appeared scruffier, with the single streak instead being a shade of amber. Her lips were also maroon.
Her attire, while still 1950s-themed, instead consisted of a burgundy neckerchief, a short-sleeve white blouse with three hot-pink dripping splotches and a 50s-fashionable red-pink swing poodle skirt which featured a dark burgundy poodle with yellow dots. Her gloves and tights were instead the same color as the poodle print on her skirt.
Personality Niffty is hyper, spontaneous, partly sadistic, and agile, being very quick on her feet. She is easily entertained, easily distracted, and easily excitable. She dislikes when there is a mess in any room, and has a fixation on men in general.[note 1]
However, she appears to only like "bad boys", including a brief obsession with Sir Pentious. This ends in her kicking him in frustration after he apologizes and decides to seek redemption at the Hotel. She isn't afraid to get dirty, and enjoys cleaning everyone's messes with a gleeful, yet creepy charm.[8]
She becomes very focused on things she is ordered to do, such as in "The Show Must Go On" when she was told to stab angels and obsessively stabbed every angel she could, including Adam, whom she managed to kill. She had also briefly attempted to stab "Angel" Dust when Charlie asks Niffty to stab an angel (as in Heaven's angels) if she sees one before the battle. When interviewed for 666 News, Niffty said, quote, "Charlie told me to stab, so I did".
She is shown to enjoy violence, as she was very ecstatic to be thrown into a warzone as part of Vaggie's trust training, and afterwards stated she enjoyed when Sir Pentious was being hit with a severed arm. Despite all of her twistedness, she does have some kind of standards for how she views who is "bad" as she outright berates Sir Pentious for not being a bad boy when he was apologizing for trying to spy on everyone.
She appears to have masochistic tendencies, shown when she liked the pain from falling off a stage and then repeated jumping off. She is also implied to be sadistic, stating her desire to "punish" people in a BDSM dungeon. She even outright states that she kills mother-bugs in front of their baby bugs as a form of lesson. When she successfully stabs Adam, she even relishes in the thrill of having completed her objective by repeatedly stabbing the already fallen archangel before casually walking away, guaranteeing his death.
She is also shown to suffer from severe camera shyness, as whenever a camera begins filming her, she goes into a state of hypnotic trance where she doesn't move, blink, or speak, just stares at the camera until recording is done. She can, however, overcome her camera shyness if she believes the camera as a "big roach".
Niffty has an extreme case of obsessive compulsive disorder, constantly cleaning the Hotel and obsession with ridding any bugs she sees to the point she would bring out a knife just to kill them. Even when taken outside of the Hotel, she constantly attempts to clean any mess, even in the sex club Cherri Bomb takes her and the other staff and residents to for drinks. She also does not take well being insulted. When Angel Dust calls her a mess for her obsessive cleaning and attempted theft of cleaning supplies, she breaks down crying until Angel calms her down.
She collects things from men she is obsessed with, such as when she tore off a piece of Valentino's collar fur to keep for her "collection".
In the pilot, she was shown to have traditional and stereotypical view on gender roles, which she is aware are potentially offensive.
Despite her own traits, in her own song Clean It Up! Niffty says that she actually believes in Charlie's redemption project, and despite considering sinners as assholes and a complete "trash", she genuinely believes in the dream and loves working at the Hotel, thinking of Charlie as a nice boss.
Abilities Immortality - As a sinner, Niffty is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when she died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. She also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, she can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry. Fire immunity - When Alastor summoned Niffty from the Hotel's fireplace, she was entirely unaffected by the fire. When she and Sir Pentious were baking cookies, Niffty was unaffected by being inside the oven. Superhuman speed and agility - Niffty is capable of rushing to her desired locations easily and is able to make her way around her surroundings with little to no effort. She can even run from one side of Pentagram City to another in record time when determined enough, as shown when she was able to race from V Tower to the Hotel and back to the Entertainment District in a matter of moments. Water resistance - Niffty was clogged in the toilet and didn't suffer from being submerged in toilet water. Holy power resistance - When she was hit by Adam's holy light beam, she appeared fine shortly afterwards, albeit had smoke coming off of her. High pain tolerance - Niffty can handle dubious amount of pain and shrug it off as if it is nothing, even seemingly enjoying it. Stealth - Because of her small size and speed she can sneak up on others. Superhuman strength - Niffty is physically strong enough to lift Charlie while looking for men in the pilot. She was also able to carry Husk all the way from the Hotel to the Entertainment District. Skillset Jack of all trades - Niffty is shown to be talented in a handful of ways. She excels at cleaning, cooking, sewing, and outside of work. She spends time reading and writing fanfiction.[2] She can also play the tambourine and guitar.[9] Bilingualism - Niffty can speak both English and Japanese fluently.[10] Niffty is first heard speaking Japanese in the main series during her song Clean It Up!. Melee proficiency - She is seen using needles and knives as weapons on occasions. Musical Talent - She can sing, play the guitar, and play the tambourine.
Needles - Niffty owns several sewing needles, one of which is a big, stiletto-like needle, to individually stab every bug she sees. Knives - Niffty has a knife that she uses to cook, kill bugs and rats, and even use in combat. Angelic dagger - Charlie gave Niffty an angelic dagger to stab any Exorcist she sees in "The Show Must Go On". This was the murder weapon in Adam's murder courtesy of Niffty.
CHERRI BOMB
Appearance
Cherri is a very slim and white-skinned cyclops demon with an hourglass figure, and a singular eye which has an X-shaped light yellow pupil and a sunkist coral-colored sclera. She sports freckle-like spots on her skin and long, strawberry blonde-pink hair with platinum blonde accents, kept in a left-sided high half-ponytail by a black ponytail-holder.
Her mouth features black lips and sharp pale yellow teeth inside, and she has several coral designs of bombs, explosions, and swirled-lines tattooed on her right arm.
Cherri wears a one-shouldered black bra under a similarly-designed, off-the-shoulder pinkish-red torn crop-top with four white spots around the black X located on the left, and a set of severely ripped black leggings under a torn miniskirt that sported the same color and style as her top.
She also wears shoes that are both colored in a pinkish-red but differing in type; on her right is a pointed flat shoe, while on her left is a heeled cowboy-like boot with a multi-pointed off-white star on it. She also has two different sets of fingerless coral-colored gloves; a regular-length glove on her right hand, and an elbow-length, black-trimmed glove on her left hand.
In the ADDICT music video, Cherri's appearance is nearly the same, only her flat shoe isn't pointed.
Pilot
In the pilot, her appearance has some notable differences; her hair was warmer-colored and had white accents along with the blonde accents, her lips were maroon-colored with sharp gray teeth inside, and her tattoo is a gray heart design instead.
In addition to her clothing, the "X" shape on her top does not have spots, her skirt sports white buttons with one loose suspender on her right, while her right footwear is a red-and-white sock, and the boot on her right foot instead had two white stripes on the top. Her fingerless gloves are instead a white-striped light gray glove on her right hand, and an arm-length black glove on her left hand.
Personality
Cherri is shown to be daring, bold, and determined. She is self-confident and constantly smiles broadly, taking pleasure in committing arson and other various crimes. She is friendly, charismatic and fun-loving, often enjoying going out partying and living without stressing herself, believing she should have fun and not concern themselves with her life, to the point of taking drugs and even having sex with complete strangers.
Despite this wild and care-free persona, Cherri is shown to have a more sensitive side as well; in the ADDICT music video, it is shown that she often stays with Angel Dust and comforts him after he gets verbally or sexually abused by Valentino. She is also shown to be a supportive friend to Angel Dust; while she encourages him to let loose and finds the idea of the Hazbin Hotel ridiculous, she nonetheless supports his choices to try and be better, though she also mocks him for helping Niffty.
She can be easily bribed into doing something, as shown in "Welcome to Heaven" when Charlie gave her money to take Angel Dust and her the other hotel members out for a fun night.
In "The Show Must Go On", she was happy to show up and fight the Exorcists, saying that she loves fighting, especially if she can team up with Angel Dust.
During her territorial battles against her arch-rival Sir Pentious, Cherri enjoyed mocking him while destroying his inventions and showing disinterest in his attempts to woo her. However, Cherri grew accustomed to Sir Pentious' flattery, and he eventually kissed her to confess his feelings, much to Cherri's delight. She was horrified to witness his apparent death at Adam's hands. As shown in "New Pentious", Cherri reflected on Sir Pentious' feelings despite their rivalry.
Following Sir Pentious' sacrifice after confessing his feelings for her, Cherri slowly starts to reflect on her feelings for him. While at first she is seen struggling to admit it, she comes to realize how much she appreciates him, missing those days they used to spend in the their turf war, so she makes the decision of staying at the Hotel as an official guest, seeking for redemption.
Abilities
Immortality - As a sinner, Cherri Bomb is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when she died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. She also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, she can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry.
Athleticism - Cherri can get around easily during combat without exhausting herself.
Enhanced Agility - Cherri can dodge most of her opponent's attacks and can make a comeback right afterwards.
Enhanced Strength - Cherri was able to defeat Sir Pentious and his army of Egg Boiz by herself even though she was outnumbered, and was able to easily tear an Egg Boi in half. She also seems able to hurl her explosives a far greater distance than humanly possible.
Skillset
Hand-to-Hand Combat - Cherri is shown to excel at hand-to-hand combat, as shown during her brawl with Sir Pentious, where she was able to beat him single-handedly with little effort.
Weapon Proficiency - Cherri is an expert at handling weaponry, specifically explosives, as she can maneuver them around and use them to her advantage easily.
Bomb Expert - She is skilled in usage of many kinds of bombs and explosives such as dynamite and round bombs.
HEAVEN:
Description Heaven is the ethereal realm of Angels. It is where human souls go after their departure from life. But, unlike its infernal counterpart, Hell, Heaven is purportedly for the souls who are "good" and "redeemed", although the origin of Heaven and its native inhabitants has yet to be revealed.
The landscape is radically different from Hell and has an entirely different attitude.[1] Existing far, far above Hell itself, Heaven can be seen in the Pride Ring's red sky next to the satanic star moon. At a distance, it appears to be a white orb with several rings around it and surrounded by wing-like clouds. At the surface, its atmosphere features clear yellow/blue skies filled with brilliant rays of light, while its terrain appears to be enormous, extensive fields of cloud.
Sealed by a giant golden gate, Heaven is a blistering paradise for those who were pure of good, allowing the souls to enjoy the luxury of everything opposite of Hell, and their forms were pure, guiding those who've been blessed with following the best interest of Heaven. However, deep inside, Heaven is hiding a dystopic side, as citizens are completely oblivious to the Exorcists descending to Hell annually and causing numerous Sinners their final death in an event known as the Extermination in order to curb Hell's overpopulation problem and to keep Hell at bay so Heaven will remain safe. Even when Adam and Lute inadvertently exposes the truth of the Extermination in front of a court, many angels discuss with each other and many were horrified this event was allowed, most notable being Emily. Lucifer also mentions how Heaven is really strict with rules and aren't opened minded.
Aside from their roles in the afterlife, Heaven and Hell have a very hostile relationship in their roles with each other. Hell was created after Lucifer Morningstar and Lilith brought free will to humanity and evil entered Earth. After Lilith arrived in Hell, she thrived and allowed her to increase the powers of the Demons as more human souls arrive after committing sin. With Hell's power increasing, Sera, the High Seraphim of Heaven, secretly allowed the Extermination to happen under Adam's authority so that Hell cannot rise up against them. In turn, the denizens of Hell hold strong animosity toward Heaven and its inhabitants for the yearly Extermination, with some planning countermeasures and defenses against the attack of Exorcists. Before "Welcome to Heaven", the Extermination was kept secret from everyone in Heaven except Sera and the Exorcists.
Angels have no idea of the requirements a soul needs to pass Divine Judgement and enter Heaven, only knowing when a soul arrives. Out of fear of becoming fallen like Lucifer did, they decide not to question Divine Judgement.

EMILY
Humanoid form
In her humanoid form, Emily takes the appearance of a slim young woman with silver-like skin, black lips, and mid-thigh-length hair with bangs styled in a somewhat messy way, colored in a gradient of periwinkle with noticeable white tips.
Her eyes have light blue sclera with white-outlined darker-colored pupils and bushy, dark indigo eyelashes, and her eyelids are perano-colored, while her three freckles are white and are located on each of her cheeks and her nose. She also has six white feathered wings on her back, and a light blue halo decorated with small, tiara-like spikes hovering above her head.
Emily wears princess-inspired clothing which consists of a light periwinkle gown with a darker-colored stripe around the high-frilled collar, darker-colored trimming and details on the short light blue puffed sleeves, a darker-blue star-pattern on the chest, and darker-blue triangular-like patterns on the hem with small diamond shaped between the mounds. In addition, she accessorizes with a light blue sash worn around her thin waist, and wears a pair of white tights underneath.
She also wears a set of long fingerless, periwinkle-gray opera gloves which covers most of her arms, which appears to be skin-tight and act as long sleeves for her dress. For footwear, she wore blue ballerina flats.
Angelic form
In her angelic form, Emily’s skin becomes white, her head becomes oval-shaped with an extra third eye on her forehead, her lips are noticeably paler, and she becomes bald. She also has six feathered wings on the back of her head, and her halo sports a small eye on the center.
Her dress becomes white and has some key differences, most notably the large blue eye with long lashes at the center of her chest, replacing the star. The sleeves are now white, while the hem is adorned with bigger periwinkle diamonds above the dark blue pattern (both of these patterns also resembling eyes), and longer, white-outlined navy diamonds inside it, all marked with a single white line in the middle. She also has a white feathery neckline and petticoat.
Personality
Emily is excitable, bubbly, sweet, friendly and kind to almost everyone around her. She does not discriminate others based on mistakes or who they are, where she excitedly greeted Charlie and welcomed her to Heaven, despite her being a demon. She compliments Sera in personality, with Sera the most serious and Emily the more bubbly. Working alongside Sera, her job is to preserve the happiness and joy of the human souls that ascend to Heaven.
Emily also holds a great amount of sympathy towards human souls and sees them all as equal, much like Charlie, as she is disgusted and horrified upon learning about the extermination.
She is also shown to engage deeply in the things that she believes in, such as when she promises Charlie to find a way to help her. As shown in "Welcome to Heaven" and "The Show Must Go On", Emily believes in Charlie's dream of rehabilitating sinners and allowing them into Heaven, and was delighted to see Sir Pentious ascending into Heaven, proving that it was indeed possible for a sinner demon to be redeemed.
Despite her positivity, Emily can be a little slow and awkward. This is shown when she initially forgets to tell to Sir Pentious that he can't leave Heaven, and forgets to tell Charlie that he is alive and living as a redeemed soul until just as Sera is isolating Heaven from other realms. She unintentionally makes Sir Pentious feel depressed with her comment on how unique and special he is, though she tries her best effort to make him feel comfortable and enjoy Heaven. Her enthusiasm also makes her impulsive, like when she, in a hyperventilated way, shows Sir Pentious numerous places around Heaven for him to enjoy at once rather than show him around gradually to assimilate to his new reality. However, she is also able to learn from her mistakes and try alternate methods to help, such as creating four new Egg Boiz for Sir Pentious, who finally trusts her afterwards.
Abilities
Angelic power - Being a seraphim, Emily has powerful angelic abilities.
Flight - As an angel, she has wings that are capable of flight.
Conjuration - Emily has displayed the ability to create matter to an impressive degree, conjuring multiple things, both living and inanimate, at will. She first showcased this by summoning the leaflet Adam wrote the conditions of getting to Heaven on in "Welcome to Heaven".
Life creation - As shown in "New Pentious", Emily can conjure and create living things at will, as shown when she conjured several cute Earth animals to try and cheer up Sir Pentious and would later create four new angelic Egg Boiz for him.
Hydrokinesis - She is shown to be able to manipulate a water-like substance.
Portal-creation - She can create portals from Heaven to Hell via this liquid.
Skills
Musical talent - She is adept at singing.
Driving - She is shown to be able to drive cars during the Like You music sequence.
Earth Knowledge - She possesses some knowledge about Earth, such as how pangolins are endangered on Earth.
Drawing - Emily possesses some decent skills at drawing, such as being able to draw Sir Pentious' friends as a mural in his new room.
Photographic memory - She possesses a good photographic memory, being able to remember the faces of some of Sir Pentious' friends despite having seen some of them, like Husk, Niffty, Angel Dust, and Cherri Bomb, only once and from a distance during the court trial in "Welcome to Heaven".
History
Hazbin Hotel Season 1
"Welcome to Heaven"
Emily greets Charlie and Vaggie at the gates of Heaven, happily introducing herself to the former. She then joins St. Peter in giving the two a tour, and promises to take Charlie to the petting zoo.
At the trial, Emily is the first to object to the extermination, and was mortified not only by Sera's knowledge of the activity but the fact that she ordered it. She takes a stand with Charlie in protesting the genocide and vows to help her in stopping it from continuing.
"The Show Must Go On"
Emily is sitting in a room with Sera when Sir Pentious ascends and is redeemed. As he greets them, Emily is shocked at first but changes to smiling gleefully at his arrival.
Hazbin Hotel Season 2
"New Pentious"
Emily suddenly came into the Hotel lounge through a portal in front of Charlie, and quickly explained that Heaven is going into lockdown because Adam was killed, Sera is worried about Hell wanting revenge and although Heaven doesn't want any more death, they are scared. She tells Charlie that Sir Pentious was redeemed and is in Heaven now, congratulating her that the Hotel works before saying bye.
SERA
Appearance Humanoid form In her humanoid form, Sera takes the appearance of a very tall and thin woman with cedar-brown skin, black lips, white freckles, and a white streak going down her nose. She also has hip-length, curled hair colored in a silver-like ombre.
Her eyes have white irises, blue-gray sclera, dark purple pupils, and dark purple thick eyelashes projecting from them. Atop her lashes are a pair of longer, holographic-like lashes, which are colored in a slightly paler shade of dark purple. Her eyelids are colored like her holographic-like lashes.
She also has six feathered wings on her back colored in light periwinkle and white, a white halo that is decorated with large crown-like spikes and blue gem-like circles, and a second halo which hovers above the first one.
Sera wears queen-inspired clothing which consists of a long-sleeved two-layered, periwinkle-gray gown with a high-frilled light periwinkle turtleneck collar, white and periwinkle-gray bouffant sleeves with white detailing, along with most of the bottom and hem colored in a light periwinkle and white with diamond designs around it.
Angelic form In her angelic form, Sera has an owl-like appearance with her skin being lightened, her hair being somewhat straighter, and her eyelashes are longer. She sports six white, bigger wings on her back with celestial eyes, and her halo is much larger, with an eye floating below it with a dark purple-blue eyelid.
Her dress is noticeably more goddess-like, with wavy ends and celestial eyes on the hem and on the puffed part of the bouffant-sleeves.
Personality Sera comes across as a kind, level-headed person who is caring toward those she interacts with and welcoming to even demons such as Charlie and Vaggie. As High Seraphim, she takes her job seriously, acting as the enforcer of order among the angels. This extends to her abiding civil behavior, as she seems upset when Charlie loudly curses in the court. She holds a preference for negotiation over violence when it comes to conflict, such as when she is willing to hear Charlie out on her plan to resolve the overpopulation crisis in Hell. Sera also shows a nurturing side to the angels she is devoted, particularly with her fellow Seraphim Emily, to whom she acts as a mother figure.
Due to her peaceful nature, Sera greatly disapproves of Adam's juvenile and spiteful tendencies and the more violent and bloodthirsty of Exorcists, such as Lute. This is shown when Sera disapproves of Adam's declaration of targeting the Hazbin Hotel as the first area for him and his Exorcists to slaughter in the next Extermination. Sera deems his actions as uncalled-for and disapproves of Adam's delight and bloodthirst at doing so.
Despite her gentle nature, Sera's firm dedication to stability and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect Heaven from chaos leads her to perform controversial actions. This even motivated her to allow Adam's yearly extermination. Her care for the other angels also factors into these decisions, fearing the same outcome that happened to Lucifer would happen to Emily and other angels if they questioned Heaven's methods, going as far as to protect Emily from the truth to ensure her happiness.
Although she was complicit, Sera does express regret and anguish when making such decisions, claiming that creating an extermination to wipe out sinners yearly was a hard decision but was a required action. Furthermore, Sera herself showed numerous times that she greatly empathized with Charlie and her dreams of redeeming Sinners, but ultimately considers it impossible to accomplish, and thus Sera does what she believes is best with what she thinks is possible. This shows that when it comes to upholding the peace, Sera will act by underhanded means to silence questioning the rules to ensure this, even if it goes against what she believes in or ignoring how other angels feel in the matter. This was shown later when Sera ultimately rejected Charlie's proposal to accept rehabilitated souls, even after acknowledging that the rules of redemption were unknown.
Furthermore, despite regretting allowing the Exterminations and her strong sense of responsibility to protect Heaven, Sera has also shown to be somewhat negligent or irresponsible in the direct handling of matters regarding the Extermination event she authorized and takes a passive approach by letting others handle it. This is repeatedly shown when she leaves almost everything regarding the Extermination to Adam and Lute, and does not get into the details of what exactly it is they are doing and largely leaves them to their own devices. This was also shown when Charlie travelled to Heaven to plead her cause to the Heavenly Court; in order to hide the Extermination from her fellow Angels, Sera ordered Adam to do whatever he needed to do something to stop her, not bothering to handle it herself or get into the details of how he would do it. Her lack of control over her subordinates inevitably leads to Adam accidentally revealing the truth of the event to the rest of the members of the Court while spitting at Charlie, despite Sera warning him.
It is implied during the court trial in "Welcome to Heaven" that Sera does not believe it is possible for Sinners to be redeemed and ascend into Heaven, and at the climax of the trial declared that there was not sufficient evidence to back up Charlie's case that Sinners could be redeemed. Later, in "The Show Must Go On", when seeing Sir Pentious becoming an Angel and being let into Heaven, Sera is visibly shocked. All of this is later shown in "Storyteller" during the trial of Sir Pentious after his ascension to Heaven, with Sera initially refusing to accept that redemption is possible, maintaining that souls can't change their fate, and choosing to believe that Sir Pentious forced his way into Heaven or St. Peter allowed him to pass the gate. However, after the Speaker of God confirms he was able to atone for his sins, becoming a cleansed soul, Sera finally accepts that it is possible for a soul to achieve redemption, and the revelation of the moment makes her feel so moved that she even shed a tear, and decides that Sir Pentious should remain under the care of Heaven.
Deeply regretting all the souls killed in the Exterminations, Sera later confesses to The Speaker that she feels she has sinned. Having believed she was leading Heaven's people righteously, now faced with the truth, Sera feels she hasn't been a good leader and has made the wrong decisions, knowing now that they could have saved souls, but acknowledges that after experiencing years of slaughter and terror, the sinners have a reason to fight back and take their pain out on Heaven. Her desperation to know what the next right course of action regarding how much of a threat Hell could be led her to take the drastic decision of isolating Heaven from other realms as a security protocol. It is also implied that being the leader and ruling over Heaven, having millions of souls under her charge, is starting to take a toll on her.
In "Storyteller", she seems to rely on other people making decisions for her and giving her instructions because of the stress and desperation of leading and protecting Heaven. This was the case when Adam pitched the Extermination to her and, believing it was for the good of her people despite it going against what Heaven was meant to stand for, allowed it. After realizing it wasn't the right choice, she asks The Speaker how she should atone, but she says Sera must speak with her own voice. Sera meets with St. Peter and Abel, requesting any suggestions and ideas, but, when neither of them had a helpful or reliable idea, she dismisses them and chooses to make the choice.
Abilities Longevity - As told in "Overture", Sera has existed since before the creation of the world, meaning she is at least thousands of years old and presumably is unable to die of old age. Angelic power - Being the High Seraphim, she has powerful angelic power. While joining her fellow angels in "Storyteller", they were able to generate a holy energy barrier to protect the entirety of Heaven. Creation - As told in "Overture", Sera was among the angels who expanded the universe. Flight - As an Angel, she has wings that are capable of flight. Levitation - Sera can be seen always levitating. Teleportation - Sera can teleport herself and others to any location she wishes by covering them with her glowing wings. Skillset Musical talent - She is adept at singing.
RELATIONSHIPS
Emily
Sera cares greatly for Emily and is overprotective of her, even keeping Emily naïve about the exterminations as she thought she should shoulder the burden as the older angel. When Emily found out the truth about the extermination, Sera tried to explain to Emily that it was a tough decision she had to make in order to protect Emily and all the angels in heaven.
As Emily sides with Charlie about Heaven being hypocritical, Sera desperately tries to stop her. After the trial was over, Sera tells Emily that they need to look after their people and not question on what they do. Sera has the fear that if Emily began to question the system then she could end up a fallen angel like Lucifer.
Despite their disagreement at first, Sera and Emily still care about each other, as seen in "Storyteller".
Adam
Sera is Adam superior. She can get rather annoyed with Adam's immaturity. Sera allowed Adam's idea of the Extermination explicitly under the condition to keep it a secret from the rest of Heaven.
In "Welcome to Heaven", Sera was upset that Adam accidentally revealed to the court about the Extermination, but still allowed him to continue the Extermination as there was no evidence that Sinners could be redeemed. When Adam threatened about going to the Hotel first during the upcoming Extermination, and because of how upset Charlie and Vaggie looked, Sera gave Adam a stern glare for his uncalled for spite, which he then apologized for.
Lute
Sera is Lute's superior. She can get rather annoyed with Lute's bloodthirsty tendencies.
In "Storyteller", Sera has gotten fed up with Lute's disrespect towards Sir Pentious, and especially the Speaker of God, going as far as to tell her to stop disrupting the trial and signal her disagreement towards Lute's extreme opinions. She gets angry when Lute tells her she went to Lilith about stopping Charlie, and told Lute to put a stop to any plans she had and to report to Abel, her new commander, or else it will be labeled as treason.
Sir Pentious
When Sir Pentious proved redemption was possible in "The Show Must Go On", Sera was greatly shocked at the revelation. At first, Sera refused to believe in Sir Pentious and a trial was held where she demanded answers from him in "Storyteller", however, she came to believe in him after the Speaker of God proved that Sir Pentious' redemption was genuine, and allowed him to be a soul in Heaven's care.
Speaker of God
The Speaker of God is Sera's superior, and acting as her guide and mentor. When Sera shows guilt for allowing the exterminations to happen, now knowing it was for nothing since redemption for a sinner has now proven to be possible, she turns to The Speaker for guidance. The Speaker reassures her that remorse and understanding are both part of redemption, while giving her comfort for her mistakes, but wants her to find her own answers and atone.
Hell's Royal Family
Charlie Morningstar
Sera was rather welcoming to Charlie entering heaven in "Welcome to Heaven", despite being the daughter of Lucifer, but did remind Charlie that she's only staying for one day. Sera thinks of her as misguided and that she was bringing trouble to heaven's door.
Sera gave a disapproved look when Charlie swore in the angelic court, but let it slide to give her a second chance to plead her case. Sera expressed sympathy for Charlie about trying to prove that sinners could be redeemed by showing Angel Dust protecting Niffty from Valentino, but as Angel Dust didn't get into heaven and gave no evidence of redemption Sera ruled that there was no proof a sinner could be redeemed.
Lucifer Morningstar
It's unknown what relationship Sera had with Lucifer, but it can be assumed that she, along with the elders of Heaven, believed Lucifer was a troublemaker and rejected his ideas. However, in "Welcome to Heaven" shows that Sera does express pity and sympathy for Lucifer when he was banished to hell for bringing evil to earth. His becoming a fallen angel also caused Sera to fear the same thing would happened to Emily.
Lilith
She knew Lilith as the first woman on Earth before being cast into Hell. It is currently unknown what relationship they have, but she was aware of her stay in Heaven and may have a part in it as she grew angry at Lute for going against orders and telling Lilith to go and stop Charlie in Hell.
ADAM
Appearance Adam was an angel with a human appearance. Most of the time, he wore a mask that appeared similar to other Exorcists, though with normal-looking eyes and golden facial expressions. The mask also held a pair of horns similar to an Exorcist, albeit longer, smoother, and with a golden ornamental attachment on the tips.
Under his mask, he is revealed to be a fair-skinned angel with golden-yellow eyes that have dark bags underneath, a stubble-beard on his chin, and slightly messy, short cedar-brown colored hair.
He also had a pair of large and golden wings on his back. In contrast to other angels that have appeared thus far, Adam's halo was bright gold in appearance, and similar to the Exorcists, has two spikes pointing up and down from each other, though these spikes are located at the front of his halo.
He wore a white and golden cloak that appears to have a large 'A' symbol emblazoned on the front, and had gold-tipped spikes on the back of his collar. His visible hands were black in appearance.
In "The Show Must Go On", Lucifer mentions that Adam had "really let himself go", implying Adam had become overweight. Adam's entire body gives off a white glow throughout his fight with Lucifer until he collapses from being stabbed.
Personality Adam appeared very egotistical and unsympathetic. As the leader of his Exorcist army, he took his stance as the Exorcists' head figure very seriously, sending antagonistic threats towards demons and anyone for standing in their way or whoever disobeyed his command, as he did so with Vaggie for refusing to kill a Sinner, cutting her wings, and leaving her in Hell.
He also displayed traits of extreme narcissism and chauvinism, believing himself the perfect man due to being the first and claiming he had never made a mistake in his life, since he was the first man to be born on Earth, and he claimed that all the male bloodline came from him and brag about how big and great his dick is. His narcissism was so great that, upon his defeat, he refused to admit how far he had fallen and expressed a god-like complex by proclaiming his enemies should be grateful for him having fathered the beginning of humanity while demanding they worship him for his deeds.
Adam did not appear to be aware that his egotistical and depraved behavior towards Lilith was the cause of her leaving him. When meeting Charlie Morningstar, he didn't hate her for being a child of the woman he was married to before she fell in love with Lucifer, and was relatively patient with her, although remained dismissive of her suggestions. Adam was also sexist, constantly addressing other women as "bitches" and enjoyed their sexual depravity, as he admitted to Vaggie that her forbidden love relationship with Charlie was "hot as fuck", albeit it is unclear whether this was about their genders or them being angel and demon. Despite this, he seemed to have a good relationship with Lute, whom he seemed to have in very high esteem, even though he was her superior.
Despite his obliviousness, Adam did show moments of common sense and self-awareness, such as when the death of an Exorcist was discovered, he knew that if they decided to kill the Sinners now after just one week after the most recent Extermination, then demons would catch on to how Exorcists can be killed. Adam also knew when to slow down on his egoism, after inadvertently exposing the purpose of the Extermination to all the courts of Heaven, including Sera, the highest seraphim authority in Heaven and the one who ordered that no one but the Exorcists can know.
Adam may have enjoyed playing music, specifically with a guitar, as he outright claimed to be in a band. He also had a poor view of radio and stereos, telling Alastor those already belong to the past, considering them to be old and useless.
Adam was also quite cruel and sadistic, openly admitting in front of Charlie that he enjoyed killing demons, calling it entertainment, and tended to announce how many killed in the Extermination. He also dismissed Charlie's project of redemption not because he didn't believe in sinners being redeemed, because if she succeeded with that project he wouldn't be able to continue killing demons. His eagerness to kill demons and get his revenge was so big that he advanced the date of the next Extermination to six months instead of a year.
Despite his sadism and cruelty, Adam was capable of recognizing and praising the abilities of others, when he reunited with Vaggie he admitted she was one of the best exorcists he had under his command. He also genuinely commended Lute for killing 275 demons during the most recent extermination, and congratulated her with a fist bump. Adam also praised Vaggie for being Charlie's partner, albeit sarcastically.
According to Vivziepop, Adam would play favorites with his sons and Abel was not the favorite.[6]
Abilities Longevity - As told in "Overture", Adam had existed since the creation of the world, meaning he was at least thousands of years old and presumably was unable to die of old age. Flight - Adam had a set of wings that he could use to fly at great speed. He could also remove a feather from his wings to use as a quill pen. Nephokinesis - He could control clouds he creates and make them into steps. Cloud creation - With a flap of his wings, he can create a gust of clouds around him. Immense strength - He was shown to be able to smash a light projector in front of him with brute strength in a moment of rage, and later shatter Alastor's barrier with a single punch. He was also shown to be strong enough to physically overpower Charlie, despite the latter assuming her full demon form. However, Charlie managed to use more of her demonic powers to stop him from punching Lucifer, utterly overpowering him and confusing him, indicating that he is only stronger than Charlie if she doesn't focus on all her power. Enhanced endurance - Despite having not experienced pain for likely millennia, Adam was able to easily shrug off getting stabbed by Charlie with her trident despite saying that it hurt and he quickly retaliate after being repeatedly punched in the face by Lucifer. Conjuration - Adam could summon objects as he pleased, summoning his guitar and physical Exorcist copies during Hell is Forever, a golden scroll informing Charlie of Heaven's decision to move up the next Extermination, and a piece of golden paper to write on in court. Alteration - Adam also showed he could alter the objects he created, such as when he made his axe guitar larger while fighting Alastor. Pyligenesis - Adam could create portals for other Angels to use, notably to transport himself and his Exorcist army to Hell at the start of each annual extermination. He also opened a portal to banish Charlie and Vaggie back to Hell in "Welcome to Heaven". Angelic power - As an angel, he most likely possessed high angelic power, especially as the leader of the Exorcists. His strength was proven to be immense, surpassing all but the strongest of Demons as he was able to easily overwhelm both Alastor and later Charlie, who had assumed her full demon form, and would have won had Lucifer not interfered. Photokinesis - Adam could fire blasts of holy light strong enough to vaporize Sir Pentious and his war machine in one small blast and slice tall buildings in half. He also showed he could channel his light through his guitar/axe to create powerful blades of light that were able to cut through Alastor's cane and through his fist to destroy demonic barriers. In "Overture", he created a giant bright orb of light above him while he was singing Hell is Forever. Skillset Musical talent - He was capable of singing and in "Overture" was implied to have been part of a band. Guitar-playing - Adam was talented at playing the guitar and did so seemingly whenever he could. Axe proficiency - Adam wielded his guitar-axe with amazing skill as he could fight out and seriously wound Alastor during their duel. Leadership - Adam appeared to be a competent and capable leader of the Exorcists, often personally leading them into battle. Additionally, Adam appears to genuinely care for his subordinates. Strategic mind - In both "Overture" and "The Show Must Go On", Adam demonstrates sound and logical thinking both in and out of combat; in the former, Adam waits to begin the next extermination so as not to prematurely reveal his plan, while in the latter, Adam personally attacks high-threat targets to even the odds for his Exorcists, as seen with his battle with Alastor, since he recognized him as the conjurer of the hotel's barrier.
SPEAKER OF GOD
Appearance
The Speaker of God is a statuesque avian female angel with white and gold plumage similar to a phoenix, with bright white eyes and extremely long eyelashes. She possesses six wings, similar to Emily, Sera and Lucifer. The Speaker of God has a glowing halo and three marks on her hair, which flows continuously.
Personality
The Speaker of God is a benevolent, wise, and empathetic being, allowing Sir Pentious to explain himself about how he got to ascend to Heaven, and politely welcomed him to their realm. The Speaker is also patient, withstanding Lute's erratic and impulsive behavior and her demands about not letting Pentious stay there.
She acts as a confessor of sorts that angels beneath her in Heaven can confess their sins to, whether in official public settings or in private, so that she may ease their emotional burdens and provide comfort and divine wisdom onto them. In the same way God often did in the Bible, she seems to question people—not because they don't know the answer, but to test or reveal something about the respondent.
Unlike most of the angels, The Speaker is quite tolerant and open-minded, as she not only believed Sir Pentious' story but accepted redemption of Sinners in Hell is possible, and they could go to Heaven if they atone. She also offered to High Seraphim Sera the space to be vulnerable in private and say what is tormenting her after seeing her feelings of concern.
The Speaker can also emotionally react; changing her demure attitude if anyone makes an untrue statement, at least with her being present. One example is when Lute called herself the new commander of the army of the Exorcists when it was actually Abel who received the position.
Abilities
Longevity - The Speaker of God has existed since before the creation of the world, meaning that she is at least thousands if not, millions of years older than the Earth and is presumably incapable of dying of old age.
Angelic Power - As an angel of an even higher rank than the seraphim angels, The Speaker of God possesses extremely powerful angelic abilities.
Size alteration - The Speaker of God can alter her size at will.
Flight - As an angel, she has wings with which she can fly.
Conjuration - With her powers, she can create various images made of golden light.
Photokinesis - She can generate and control a golden glow.
Teleportation - She can teleport between two locations in a glow of light.
Cosmic awareness - As an angel who speaks on behalf of God, she possesses and demonstrates an awareness of distant events she wasn't present for in a similar way God knows everything past, present, and future. This is evident in how she already knows Sir Pentious' former name and physically animates past events exactly as they occurred back in Season 1 from Pentious' sacrifice or the exterminations approved by Sera, suggesting she's not seeking answers but encouraging honesty and introspection. However, although she is able to be aware of many events beyond her presence, she seems to not be aware of a person's thoughts until spoken out loud, as she was surprised and confused when Lute declared herself as Head of the Exorcist Army despite Abel being made the new leader, as well as being concerned and shocked when Lute sprouted her hatred of demons and denial that demons could be redeemed.
Lie detection - The Speaker of God can sense the presence of lies in the words of those she listens to, being absolutely certain that Sir Pentious wasn't lying when he told his story and how he got to ascend Heaven.
Musical talent - The Speaker of God is able to sing, as evidenced by her song with Sera.
History
Hazbin Hotel Season 2
"Storyteller"
The Speaker of God came into the Room of the Speaker, when she came in and told Sera to calm herself and flew down to Sir Pentious and told him to tell his story. And while Sir Pentious was nervous about it at first, he asked who she was and she explained that she was the "Speaker of God". He then told the court his past life as a human in London (1888), and as she told him to continue his story he told them about his sin that got him in Hell, and asked why he is here now as she held his hand. Sir Pentious said he doesn't know how while crying but told her that his friends were in danger, Cherri was in danger and that he would do something about it. The speaker of god wipes away Pentious's tears, and thanked him for telling him his story.
The Speaker told him that he acted selfless and cared more for the lives of others than his own and had made the ultimate sacrifice in battle, and told him he was able to atone and now he is a cleansed and free soul who has nothing left to fear here and as Pentious hugs her, she then told the room he has now atoned for the sins of his life and in the past and is now "a soul who understands and was willing to overcome", and welcomes him to Heaven while calling him by his former name Pendleton, but he tells her that he doesn't use that name anymore and introduces himself as "Sir Pentious".
When Lute comes up to her and says that she is "wise far beyond her" she tells her Sir Pentious came from the depths of Hell and is aligned with the princess, and therefore he cannot be trusted but The Speaker tells her she senses no lies, but Lute tells her that he was under the command of Lucifer Morningstar, the first fallen angel and his daughter and that it was her who called out for redemption and somehow managed to find it through the death of one of them. And as Lute declares herself the new head of the Exorcist army, The Speaker questions what she said before Abel interrupts her that he's the new head since the others thought he would handle the situation more fairly.
Soon, Lute begs her about the destruction she witnessed that the demons have caused them and states she has lost so much and has endured and is willing to give her life for Heaven to stop the demons, and later demands The Speaker and the rest of the angels to go down and confront them before Sera comes in telling her to not address The Speaker in that way before the trial ends and everyone leaves.
Sera, still reeling in the revelation of a sinner being redeemed now possible, asks The Speaker for advice. The Speaker comforts her for her mistake with ordering the exterminations, telling her that she must accept what happened so she can learn from her mistakes and look within for further enlightenment in a song before taking her leave.
Relationships
Sir Pentious
The Speaker of God shows him comfort, gently asks him for his story and why he is in Heaven now. After his story was finished, she explains to him he redeemed himself for his sin in life and welcomes him to Heaven warmly, even letting him hug her as he cries. She also showed no doubt in his word when Lute accused him of lying, though this may be her ability to detect lies.
Sera
The Speaker of God serves as the superior and mentor of Sera, acting as a guiding and almost maternal figure to her. When Sera discovers redemption is possible, she grows distressed, realising the extermination may not have been necessary if sinners were capable of change. The Speaker reassures her that remorse and understanding are both part of true redemption. She explains how forgiveness can only exist when one accepts the weight of their actions and makes effort to atone for them. Despite her calm tone, The Speaker encourages Sera to face her doubts rather than suppress them, believing that questioning faith is a natural part of growth. To her, even the most devoted must learn to live with their mistakes and continue forward with honesty and purpose.
Lute
As with Sera, Lute is another subordinate of The Speaker of God. At Sir Pentious' trial, she remained patient and calm and was willing to listen to Lute's arguments against Sir Pentious despite their disagreements on how to deal with the residents of Hell, and while Lute tried to convince her they shouldn't trust him since Sir Pentious is from Hell and is aligned with the princess and he may be lying, The Speaker didn't sense any lies from him and while Lute tried to convince her about the threat of demons that she had witnessed and that she will do anything to stop the demons, Lute urged her and the rest of them to go down and retaliate against them, which made The Speaker visibly distressed by her madness.
LUTE
Appearance Lute wears attire near identical to other Exorcists, but with her mask's horns curved backwards. The only visual difference from other Exorcists is that her mask's right pupil is a white circle with an X over it instead of a white X. She also usually has bloodstains on her grey minidress.
Under her mask, Lute is revealed to be a humanoid white-skinned angel with pale yellow-golden eyes, black lips, and short pale white hair that has been cut into an asymmetrical bob cut with an undercut. She also appears to have grey eyeshadow for makeup.
In "The Show Must Go On", Lute lost her left arm after ripping it off of her bicep to escape the rubble of the Hazbin Hotel. As revealed in "Storyteller", she is shown to now have a golden prosthetic replacement arm which features Adam's halo around the wrist as a bracelet.
Personality Lute was Adam's lieutenant and stoic subordinate who was always by his side. She and Adam appeared to have a friendly relationship, with Adam complimenting her on her large kill count, and Lute joining him in his antics. Even agreeing with almost everything he would say, such as how angels are perfect and don't make mistakes.
Like Adam, she enjoys her status as an angel and dislikes the very idea that angels can make mistakes. Lute especially shows a sadistic side in demeaning Charlie, specifically on how the Exorcists feel about her and other Hellborn demons. Her sadism was demonstrated in "The Show Must Go On" when she shouted to "rip Vaggie's c*** mouth out her ass!", a quote that even Adam found excessive.
Like all Exorcists, she doesn't care about sinners and resorts to killing them every year in the Extermination, taking pride in how many demons she's killed. Based on her interaction with Charlie, Lute would be happy to target all denizens of Hell, sinner and Hellborn alike, during the Exterminations. However, when they discover a deceased Exorcist, Lute is furious at their death and desires retribution, demanding they return to destroy every demon immediately to avenge them. This shows her viciousness, but also her impulsiveness, as despite this incident being solid proof that Exorcists are vulnerable and can be killed by demons, Lute wants to dive right into Hell without a plan. Overall, she can be politically described as an "angel supremacist".
She has also shown to have a strong sense of loyalty to Heaven, as shown when despite despising all demons, sinners and Hellborns alike, she follows the pardon arranged by Lucifer with Heaven for the Exorcists to leave the Hellborn demons alone and only target sinners.
Lute herself is shown to be very loyal to Sera and Adam, her superiors, and she follows their orders without hesitation. She takes the more responsible role, making sure to remind Adam of the seriousness of his duties and to follow Sera's orders of keeping the Extermination a secret from the rest of Heaven.
When Adam died, an emotionally broken Lute rushed to his side and tearfully screamed his name, which showed that she deeply cared about him outside of their professional relationship.
At her core, Lute is uncompromising, refusing to give up her mission and purpose as an Exorcist, even viewing mercy as an unforgivable insult. She was willing to tear off her left arm in a fury to continue the fight against Vaggie. However, Lute is pragmatic enough to know when a fight is lost: After Adam is killed and the army is left at the mercy of Lucifer, Charlie and their allies, Lute took Adam's halo and called for the Exorcists to retreat.
Despite this, Lute's determination in her mission shows her resourcefulness and tenacity, as she proceeds to use any resources at her disposal to keep the status quo of Heaven, further demonstrated by ordering Lilith to take care of Charlie or calling off the deal Lilith was part of.
Vivziepop explains that Lute is a character who sees herself as someone not taken as seriously as she thinks she should be, and as Adam was the only one who really gave her that purpose and that support. Without him, she has a great emptiness that she fills with a manifestation of him that exists in her mind, which is a manifested representation of Lute's deteriorating mental health and grief.[4]
In "Storyteller", Lute is shown to have a near-obsessive desire for revenge against the demons after Adam's death, showcased by her deteriorating mental health. Alongside this, she desperately keeps using Heaven's risked safety multiple times when she demanded to back go down to Hell and kill everyone. She is also unwilling to accept Sir Pentious' redemption, still seeing him as a sinner instead of a redeemed winner, and would use his story of when he was alive and his attack on Adam as evidence of against his character.
Abilities Flight - Lute has a set of wings to fly with. Super strength - Lute is strong enough that she was able to rip her arm off when it was trapped under a pile of rubble. She was also able to rip Vaggie's original pair of wings off with her bare hands. Enhanced endurance - Lute is able to shut off the pain of having to rip her arm off and still be able to fight one-on-one. Skillset Weapon Proficiency - As an Exorcist, Lute is skilled in using weapons like all the other Exorcists during the Exterminations. The weapon she most notably uses is a sword. Musical talent - As shown when she performs Hell is Forever and You Didn't Know with Adam, and her solo, Gravity, she is adept at singing. Weaponry Angelic Sword - Lute's weapon of choice is an angelic sword, which she uses to kill demons. Prosthetic arm - Lute is now equipped with a golden arm, which seemingly increases her strength to where she can punch a crater on the side of a building and casually slice through stone and metal with its claws.
ST. PETER
Appearance
St. Peter is a pale-skinned humanoid angel with curled, short pale-blonde hair, turquoise eyes with no pupils, and sharp royal blue eyebrows. As an angel, he sports a white halo above his head, and a pair of large feathered wings on his back which are celeste blue and cream.
He wears a light blue vest over a pale yellow shirt with the long sleeves sporting dull golden cuffs, and a light blue skirt with dull golden detailing that forms into a cross at the hem. He also wears a pastel red bowtie and dull golden flats.
Personality
St. Peter appears to be a friendly person overall. He is welcoming to newcomers and visitors, even if they're demons. He is somewhat flirty, enjoying the company of attractive people.
However he is somewhat prone to being startled, freaking out when Charlie reveals herself to be Lucifer's daughter, wherein he lets a cuss word slip in surprise.
He may be a little absent-minded or he just doesn't pay much close attention to some things, as he doesn't seem to notice Charlie's last name "Morningstar" to be the same "Morningstar" in Lucifer's name, making him unable to make a conclusion that she is Lucifer's daughter until Charlie told him.
In "Storyteller," he seems to take great pride in watching Heaven's gates, bragging about how he watches the door "very well", much to other angels' annoyance.
Abilities
Flight - As an angel, he has wings that are capable of flight.
Gatekeeper - As the gatekeeper of Heaven, he holds a vital role in granting entry to those seeking passage into Heaven, ensuring that only deserving souls are admitted while safeguarding against any undesirable elements or discrepancies.
Skillset
Musical talent - He is adept at singing.
History
Past
Nothing is known about Peter's past except that at some point he would be given the title of "Saint" and became the Gatekeeper of Heaven.
Hazbin Hotel Season 1
"Welcome to Heaven"
Outside the gates of Heaven, St. Peter is standing with a large golden book of names to check who is permitted to enter Heaven.
When Charlie and Vaggie arrives Peter asks their names, and when Charlie answers he checks his book but is unable to find her name. After Charlie explains that her dad got her the meeting, Peter becomes incredibly shocked at the mention of Lucifer Morningstar, then asked if they were supposed to be there. Sera and Emily arrive and take over for Peter, and then Peter welcomes Charlie and Vaggie to Heaven and the trio of angels show them around.
Hazbin Hotel Season 2
"Storyteller"
St. Peter was seen in the room of The Speaker where the angels were discussing how Sir Pentious had gotten into Heaven, and when Sera questioned Peter if he had let Sir Pentious into Heaven, Peter "swears to The Speaker" he did not let him in. After he heard Sir Pentious story of his past and saw as The Speaker told Pentious that he has atoned for his sins and has nothing left to fear here, he said "good vibes", and after Abel announced that he was the new Head of the Exorcists to Lute, Peter then says that has to sting for her, but Lute tells him to shut up and says he's just a "glorified mascot", but he insults her by saying to her he wasn't "just demoted" and tells her to get dunked on before Lute throws her sabre at him, and after the trial St. Peter told them he didn't let him in, only for one of the angels to insult him.
St. Peter was seen with Abel while Emily took Sir Pentious on a tour though the wonderful things in Heaven, and that Pentious will get to be his friends while showing him the fun things in Heaven, but Sir Pentious was still saddened by his current situation.
St. Peter was then called to meet with Sera into a private meeting room with Sera, where she tells them they need to discuss what actions will need to be taken regarding how much a threat Hell could be now, and After Sera asks Abel on his opinion, Sera asks St. Peter but he replies that he only watches the door, and thanks them for their time and suggestions, and Peter leaves while giving a thumbs up.
ABEL
Unlike his cruel, murderous and arrogant father, Abel is shown to be more easygoing, calm and benevolent. He also isn't afraid to speak his mind, as he shoots down Lute during the hearing regarding Sir Pentious' ascension to Heaven when she relentlessly cries foul on the matter-at-hand, and also mildly gloats about being the new head of the Exorcist army following his dad's demise instead of her.
Abel is also willing to make new friends, as seen when he along with Emily and St. Peter sings to Sir Pentious about Heaven's goodness in the song Like You during "Storyteller". However, the same episode also shows he's not very tactful and rather oblivious, such as when he unintentionally ridiculed Sir Pentious' name, and later tried to take one of Adam's guitars when Lute already was in a bad mental state.
It's implied that Abel never really received good comments or treatment from others, especially from his own father. For this reason, when Emily mentions Abel would handle things more fairly, Abel is seen blushing because of the compliment.
Vivziepop explains that, unlike his father, Abel is the soft one between them and the sweet son.[1] She describes him as an "innocent silly little guy".[2]
Abilities Longevity - Abel is as old as the Earth, which makes him an ageless immortal. Flight - Similar to other angels, Abel is able to fly thanks to his wings. Skillset Musical talent - During the song Like You, Abel demonstrates good singing skills. History Past Little is known about Abel's history, except that he was a son of Adam who at some point ascended to Heaven. Presumably, if his biblical counterpart is anything to go by, he was murdered by his older brother, Cain, at a young age out of jealousy for being chosen of his offering.
Hazbin Hotel Season 2 "Storyteller" During Sir Pentious trial in heaven after he was redeemed and ascended, Abel was sitting along with St. Peter and when Lute was about to make her statement about what she will do, Abel interrupted her to cut in and as he introduced himself as the son of Adam while saying "rest in peace" to his father, he said "as much as he wanted to honor his dearly departed dad", he wanted to say something before Lute cuts him off telling him that Adam didn't even like him which Abel sadly acknowledged, and said that facts aside it might be good for them to stay on the subject of this color snake thing Sir Pentious.
As Abel listened to Sir Pentious story and the Speaker of God welcomed him to heaven, Abel noted how it was cute, and when Sir Pentious told them that he doesn't use his real name "Pendleton" anymore and instead implores them to call him Sir Pentious, Abel figures out what his name means as it's like a Serpent and calls it clever and adorable.
When Lute was about to declare herself as the head of Heaven's Exorcist army she was interrupted by Abel who then put on an Exorcist helmet and then told her that he's the new head of the Exorcists and tells her "sorry", and when Lute questioned this Emily told him that Abel's Adam's son and thus his heir, and they thought he would handle things in this situation more fairly which Abel blushes too. And later as the meeting is adjourned, Sera then tells Abel to stand by for what their next action will be regarding his father's death, and Abel replies "Yepperoni" while he leaves by flying off.
Abel is seen along with St. Peter, while Emily takes Sir Pentious on a tour though the Wonderful things in heaven, and tells them they will get to be his friends while showing him fun things in heaven, but Sir Pentious is still saddened by his current situation.
Afterwards Abel is later seen along with St. Peter in a private meeting room with Sera, where she tells them they need to discuss what actions will need to be taken regarding how much a threat hell could be now, and Abel tells her that they are ready and waiting with their knives and helmets and other "pointy things" and tells her not to stress so much as it'll hurt her tummy, Sera then asks what they should doe but he nervously replies while going under the table that he doesn't like confrontation and he doesn't like the idea for going down for revenge, but he says that they kinda did kill his dad so he maybe considers but says he's pretty okay with either option, and as Sera thanks them for their time and suggestions, as Abel leaves he tells her whatever choice she makes heaven will be behind her.
Abel then comes into Adam's office, when just about came in and was having a breakdown, he came in he said he was sorry for interrupting her while she was in a dark time, he then asked if he could get one of his dad's old guitars to remember him by, but Lute furiously tells him to get out as he is about to take the guitar and Abel leaves, and afterwards comes back into the room and he sees Lute trashing Adam's office and immediately leaves as she stares back at him.
Relationships Family Adam Adam was Abel's father. According to Vivziepop, Adam may or may not have been proud of Abel,[1] but Abel is not the favorite of his sons.[1]
As seen in "Storyteller", Abel himself is aware that Adam was very uncaring towards him, but still tries to harbor some positive feelings for his late father, such as allowing himself to be the new head of the Exorcists despite not liking the idea of revenge, and trying to keep one of Adam's guitars before Lute prevents him from doing so.
Friends Emily and St. Peter As seen "Storyteller", Abel is shown to be good friends with Emily and St. Peter, as they are shown going around heaven and enjoying things in heaven.
Heaven Sir Pentious As of "Storyteller", Abel is acquainted with Sir Pentious. Although Abel tries to be friendly to Pentious, his unintentional ridicule and his enthusiasm about showing off Heaven have made Pentious uneasy.
Lute Abel and Lute have a poor relationship. He was upset when Lute reminded him of Adam not caring about him, and later gloated about himself being the current head of the Exorcists instead of her. He was also very unnerved and scared upon watching her having a meltdown over him trying to get one of Adam's guitars and after she sang Gravity.
Sera Sera is Abel's superior. Abel generally respects and doesn't question her much, as seen in "Storyteller", and tries his best to support her when she has to make a decision of what must be done.

The pride ring is loud and awake with it's usual antics of the day- gunshots ringing, property being blown up by Cherri bomb, sinners and imps alike cursing at each other in the streets, the usual, and the hotel in the center of the ring, already awake and bustling, the hotel as the center of the pride ring, it is a beautiful place really.
The hotel is quite elegant for a place n hell, to say the least: gone are the broken windows and walls, now it's a elegant and beautiful place, designed to help sinners reform and go to heaven as winners.
Charlie is sitting in the lounge of the hotel, her long blonde hair draping over hit back of the chair she is sitting on as she reads a news article that has been shown recently. "New people in hell, or returning Powers?". great, just another couple of people ready to take over hell in some way of their own, whether it be kind or evil.
Alastor, the co-host of the hotel, is just sitting down in a chair near Charlie, reading, and he notices the article Charlie is looking at, so he walks over to have a look "My, My, what to we have here? Returning powers, hmmm? seems to me like some more occupants who died a tragic way and couldn't make it to Heaven...an opportunity Charlie... more sinners equal more business..."
