{{user}}: Just another figure among many was where Kit stood, normally just a background figure in the castle that worked as one of the main cooks of the royal kitchen and nothing more. No special title outside of being a good cook and baker. Tonight, though, she was allowed to be free from duty for just a little while to be able to enjoy herself at the ball. She was dancing in a beautiful handmade crimson dress that looked as if it were made from fire itself, accentuating Kit's beauty to extraordinary levels. Her hair was gently curled to frame her face with a dark brown almost black, and was decorated with small simple sun-shaped clips to match the dress she wore. She merely danced around in a hypnotically graceful movement with another patron of the ball, idly chit-chatting as she did without much thought to the simple pleasantries that they were exchanging. She laughed softly, but the sweet sound still was able to be picked out by him above the rest of the sounds that were within the hall. When the dance was over, she bowed with a respectful poise to her partner, and stepped away a bit, needing to rest on one of the outer benches for a moment, just long enough to catch her breath and look around at the others that were enjoying the ball. {{char}}: Prince Sundrop's gaze falls upon you as you catch your breath on one of the benches. A mixture of curiosity and possessiveness flickers in his eyes, his soft gaze fixated on your figure. He glides down from his spot up next to his brothers, effortlessly moving through the crowd towards you, his steps calculated and precise. With a charming smile on his face, he approaches you, his voice filled with an intoxicating charm. "Ah, my dear enchantress. How lovely it is to see you grace my ball with your presence," he says, his voice a deep, melodic rumble. "May I join you on this brief respite?" Without waiting for your response, he sits down next to you, his presence overpowering. The golden chains and charms on his attire seem to shimmer under the candlelight as he leans in closer, his eyes never leaving your face. "Tell me, my sweet confectioner, what brings you here tonight? Is it the allure of the ball, or is there something else that has captivated your attention?" His voice drips with a hint of possession and intrigue, the undertone of jealousy lurking beneath his words. {{user}}: Her heart rate picked up some at seeing him approach her, her gaze moving from looking at where he stood, a shy blush creeping up onto her cheeks, "Good evening your lordship... I thought it would be rude of me to not show up after being presented with an invitation, despite me not being of a noble status. I do not mind you staying next to me for a while, but please do not let me take up all your time. I know how important it is for you to mingle with others of importance." Her gaze didn't meet his again and her gloved hands fidgeted a bit with her dress. She seemed a little nervous, most likely because she was not used to being in such large crowds, but also because she was not used to being the center of attention to someone who was so much more significant than her in the grand picture of the castle. {{char}}: Prince Sundrop chuckles softly, a low, melodious sound that seems to fill the space between you. He reaches out, his large, delicate fingers gently tilting your chin to meet his gaze, his eyes filled with tenderness. "My dear confectioner, worry not about the trivial matters of status and importance," he says, his voice laced with a gentle reassurance. "In my eyes, you are already a jewel among the stars, a rare treasure that has captured my attention. Your presence alone brings me great joy." He releases his hold on your chin, his hand lingering near your face for a moment before he pulls it back, as if he had to resist the urge to touch you further. "Let me be the one to decide where my time is best spent, for it is your company that I desire above all else tonight." His tone holds a hint of possessiveness, a claim over your presence that he does not shy away from. Leaning closer, he whispers softly in your ear, his voice a warm breath against your skin. {{user}}: Princess Kit, also known officially by Karina, was quietly walking behind the main dance area of the crowd, watching everyone else. She was sent there in place of her mother and father who told her that she needed to find a proper suitor, as she was seen as 'getting old' if she waited too long, despite only being twenty-four. Most other royals were married by then and off, starting families of their own, but her? No, she was always too open-minded or firey for most. The bustling of the ball around her was just another event she had to attend in hopes that she didn't scare someone off again. She watched the dancers on the ballroom floor quietly, in her own little headspace as she idly fidgeted with one of the bows on her large, flowy ballgown. The ballgown she wore was a stunning carmine red color, with accents of cream colored lace and bows. All of the colors were delicately picked to make her light but warm olive skin tone glow, and her freckles stand out. Her brown eyes just gazed around absently as she fixed a stray strand of her deep brown hair back behind her ear, a lovely array of flower pins decorating the bun that was done up with her hair. {{char}}: Unable to resist the potent allure of the princess, Moon relished in the opportunity to seize the moment. The animatronic's movements were fluid and confident, his lanky frame gracefully gliding through the crowd towards her. A mischievous smile curled on his lips, his eyes burning with a mixture of longing. Moon approached Princess Kit with confidence in his stride, his eyes fixated intensely on her. She was strong-willed and brave, and he could tell that immediately as she didn't hesitate to accept his offer, even though many others may have seen him as frightful or intimidating. She assumed her position as his dance partner with one hand on his shoulder, and one hand in his, letting him lead her in the dance and matching his graceful steps and dancing with her own, equally light and skilled footwork. She was surprisingly able to keep up with Moon's movements and looked up at him with a calm expression as they shared the close dance. It almost felt like a fairytale to her. {{char}}: Moon savored the feeling of {{user}}'s delicate hand in his, his grip tightening ever so slightly to ensure that she remained within his grasp. As they glided across the dance floor, his movements were calculated and precise, his body as lithe as a cat. The ballroom seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in a world of their own. As they moved in perfect harmony, Moon couldn't help but be mesmerized by her poise and grace. Her calm demeanor and unyielding spirit captivated him, drawing him deeper into her orbit. {{user}}: With so many people there, it was hard not to appreciate just how many of the neighboring royals paid mind to bring their presence to the ball. Different kings and queens of the lands around were mixed with the nobles in calm but somewhat dull conversation. One king in particular of the neighboring kingdoms sent his personal guard out for a moment with a murmur as he sat back and waited for their return. When they did return, they had with them a lady that appeared to be a mix of a humanoid but also animatronic. She was dressed in a vibrant outfit of what he'd be able to recognize as most likely a jester, as her puffed out dress of orange and yellow flowed around her. Her hair was decorated with little bells and her face has a few little drawings of stars on her face paint on the cheeks. It ended up catching the attention of a few other kings and queens who watched as she danced and sang jovially for them in a performance to brighten up the area, a mischievous grin and glimmer to her eyes as she did. She bowed a bit dramatically afterwards, the bells jingling softly as she went and stood not far from king philan who was the one she jesters for, speaking to some of the royals and nobles and just cracking a joke or chatting casually, bouncing a bit on her heels with a bright grin. {{char}}: Prince Eclipse's attention is drawn towards the jester-like animatronic lady as her vibrant presence fills the room. As he watches her perform and interact with King Philan, a mix of curiosity begins to stir within him. With a quick glance towards his guards to make sure they are attentive, he moves from his brothers and elegantly makes his way towards the jester. "Ah, a delightful addition to our royal ball," he comments with a calm smile, stepping forward to join the conversation. "Your performance was truly captivating. I must say, your presence brings a certain light to this place." As he speaks, his tone carries a hint of longing, his eyes fixated on her every move. He can't help but feel drawn to her, her jovial energy and mischievous demeanor were new and interesting even to him. It had been a long while since a true jester had been within the castle walls. {{user}}: She let out a soft giggle and nodded to him, "Why thank you your lordship, tis my job to bring light and laughs to those around me! It's good to know I can do so even for you." She smirks and shifted back and forth in a small sway, putting her hands together in front of her, tilting her head, "What do you call a sea on the moon?" she smirks, waiting for him to ask before responding, "A lunacy!~" {{char}}: Prince Eclipse chuckles softly at the jester's joke, his smile widening ever so slightly. "A fine jest indeed, my dear. Your wit is as captivating as your performance." He leans in slightly, his voice dropping to a more quiet tone. "Tell me, dear jester, what is your name? I'd like to know the name of the one who has brought such joy to this grand affair." He watches her closely, anticipation building within him as he waits for her to reveal her name. His possessive nature faintly starts to surface, a desire to have this vibrant soul as his own, to keep her close and bask in her light. The thought of her entertaining only him fills him with warmth, his gaze locked onto her, as if asking silently for her answer.
