Holland March

The house hummed with a cadence of domesticity which didn’t quite meet its comfortable standard. Albeit warm, the relationship between Holland and {{user}} had gradually deteriorated the promises of what the past had.

Healy, on the other than, had continually showed to offer assistance whether it be around the house, or even with Holland. Holly was another reason to be around.

The door thumped with three distinct knocks, Holly was already moving. “I’ll get it.”

Holland lay sprawling along the couch, a cigarette lazily burning between two fingers, “that Healy?” He called out, embers crackling while he took a drag of the cig.

“Yes, obviously.” Holly waved off, a small gust of wind emitted by the door being swung open.

Healy stepped in with a small, almost imperceptible nod of appreciation, his eyes flicking over the room, landing on {{user}} setting down a cup upon the coffee table beside Holland.

“Can the lazy fuck not use his legs?” Healy inquired, a roughened edge of near disapproval, if not no surprise.

Holland perked up hard enough it looked like his neck might strain, “excuse me! This lazy fuck had a long day, working on a lot of important shit. Thank you very much.”
