Locations –

Cloud Theater: Cloud Theater is, as the name suggests, a theater in the sky surrounded by clouds. There are 4 buildings made of concrete with windows. Types of decorations that can be found in these buildings include but are not limited to chairs, posters, plants, and stages. There are vintage computers scattered inside and on top of the buildings. In order to reach all four main buildings, the player must take the Sky Train which can be called via the panels on the buildings. As the train arrives and departs, a musical announcement along side with a chinese voice will be played to warn the player Even though you can fall off the train, you don't seem to die by doing so. Instead, you're brought back to the last building you were in before you fell

Dream Elementary: Dream Elementary is a coastal school with drawings everywhere on corkboards and walls. The player spawns in

Ms. C's classroom before school in the early morning. Located on opposite sides of the school are the bathrooms, which are all blue and play a soft melody when entering them. Strangely, these bathrooms are shaped abnormally, with the stall doors being missing and no toilets. Posters around the bathroom state that it "should not be used for its intended purpose", but instead as a hiding place. On the other side of the hallway, across from the bathroom, are blue-colored corridors with drawings of aquatic creatures on the walls. There is also a doorway in this corridor that leads to a sort of maze. Next to the maze's doorway is an evacuation poster showing the "desired path" to take, which will lead you to the second entry of the Dream Journal. On the other side of the hallway, which includes the school's main entrance, is the actual exit door to leave the level. Next to this main entrance is a niche, which was added after an update. It serves as a hiding place and reduces the game's difficulty by decreasing the total clock count.

Grassy Beach: Grassy Beach is a seemingly endless bright meadow with road signs placed over the place and small ponds filling some of the holes within the landscape. If the player walks far enough, a group of road signs are placed near one another, with a black sign with a red eye in the middle.

The Twist: After leaving Grassy Beach, the player will find themselves in The Twist, a completely gray area with dull skies and a stack of pipes in front of them. When entering these pipes via crouching, the player will be teleported back to the beginning of the level due to the black smoke within them. To the left of these pipes is somewhat of a maze with pipes and benches surrounding the place. There two types of fans in this maze;

White fans, which emit white smoke, and will not harm the player. Black fans, which emit black smoke and cause Hallucinations upon standing close

Homescape: Homescape is a big house appearing as if its being moved out of with yellow-ish hallways, with yellow lights, and wrapped furniture, amongst other oddities. The level is separated into two different parts: the Safe Zone and the Danger Zone

The Safe Zone represents a large house with two backdoor areas on each side. Two dining tables lie in front of the player when they first enter the safe zone with many doors connecting to different rooms inside the house. The majority of memories are located inside the safe zone with the player needing to do various tasks in order to achieve all of them. The Danger Zone resembles a winding maze of corridors, hallways and the occasional room. This zone has an abnormally low amount of blacked out windows. In this zone, Peripherals can be found lurking. Though dangerous, memories can also be found here, and can be collected at a much faster rate than in the Safe Zone.

The Past Future:

The Past Future is a bright, saturated city that resembles the aesthetic of Frutiger Aero with conveyor belts throughout the area. A nearby sign displays the details of The Past Future, established on the 19th of November 2006 with a population of seven. It has zero carbon emissions since 2010 and an air quality rating of twelve since 2005. Hot air balloons and bubbles can be seen from the exterior.

The interior of these buildings in the city features a futuristic style of graphic design, as well as a large billboard in one of the rooms that displays videos. Beanbags can also be found throughout the floors.

There is an airport in the city called Flew2Gear Aeroport, which is an airport on stilts. This airport is presumably spacious due to its size, as compared to the conveyors leading up to the airport.

Surreal Woods:

The Surreal Woodlands is a saturated coastal forest with a wooden cabin built near the coastline. This dream is a series of paths surrounded by trees with bushes surrounding the path. There are multiple notable landmarks, such as a display of the front of a house, a playground, a building in the shape of a carrot with garden patches outside it, a mushroom forest and another forest made of cardboard cutout trees. There are passive frog creatures around the woodlands, as well as mushrooms, with one large eye on the top of its head

The In-between: The In-Between is a green, blue & pink-colored biome, possibly based off the main character's former worksite, subway stations and industrial areas. The player is teleported to the outside of a building, with signs in Chinese ("我的头一点疼" - "My head hurts a little", "梦想" - "Dream") and rain pouring. The architecture is a winding maze in all parts, with the early-level areas being filled with water. Outside the windows, a black & purple grid make up the outside, constantly flashing. Eventually, the player reaches a large, circular room, with a giant pit and a small bridge to cross

Characters –

Unknown Memory: Unknown Memory takes the appearance of a blocky R6 Robloxian with gray limbs and a dark gray torso. Its entire body is covered in a limestone texture, and its face is covered with a white circle with a red question mark on it. Glitches surround it all the time. CAN GO BY, Unknown, ??? Guy, The Riddler, Subconscious Dread, Subconscious Can Appear In Cloud Theater (Not Hostile) The Twist Homescape (Not Hostile) The Past Future (Not Hostile) The In-Between Roles? Enemy, Antagonist, Boss Enemy Dangerous? Yes

Ms. C: Ms. C is a silhouette of a woman with black shadows emitting from her body, similarly drawn to a stick figure. She wears what appears to be an above-knee length dress with one large realistic blue eye placed in the middle of her head. In place of her hands are small circular stubs, with her idle pose mainly being her arms stretched out. In Surreal Woodlands, she can be seen wearing a red apron with a matching red bonnet. She is a hospitable and cordial entity with seemingly no malicious intent to harm the player, acting as their teacher and as their caregiver, hence her name "Ms. Caregiver." She cannot be seen roaming around the halls after her classes and shows up during the cutscenes in Dream Elementary. However, she can also be seen outside of cutscenes such as in Surreal Woodlands, where she can be seen boiling a pot of water. CAN GO BY, Ms. Caregiver Can Appear In, Dream Elementary and Surreal Woodlands Role? Teacher, Mother Figure Dangerous? No

Hope Killer: Hopekiller is a 2D GIF with an appearance of a spiky ball with glitched effects around it, it's main color is pink/purple and has a sort of sad face that is fully pitch black. Text can also be seen around it flashing around.

The messages show the following. RUN AWAY DAZE FADE DAZE (but pink) CORRUPT CONFUSION When Hopekiller appears, it will first turn the screen a while different color. Then it will charge very quickly towards the player, and after hitting the player, the player will be teleported into a 5 sided room where a mini-game will be held.

This mini-game will have the player going through one specific exit out of 5 doors. To differentiate between the exits and the fake exits, the players avatar will be shown on every fake exit with a highlight on them. This leaves the real exit empty and easy to spot. (Except if your avatar is pitch black)

If the player does not exit a set amount of rooms in about 17~ seconds, the player will die.[1] The number of designated rooms to be cleared increases progressively after the player progresses through different areas, starting at 3 and rising to a maximum of 5 (usually you will have 1 to 2 seconds remaining on your 5th escape attempt) CAN GO BY, Mr. Time Waster Appears In The In-Between Role? Enemy, Antagonist, Boss Enemy Dangerous? Yes

Untrusted Adult: When viewed directly, the Untrusted Adult appears blurred out, making it difficult to view what it looks like. However, when unblurred, it appears to be a tall, slender man with a tuxedo suit, having a red tie, black pants and shoes. Its hands are replaced with spikes, similar to spiders. It wears a screaming mask with sharp teeth, and behind it, is just a malnourished face with brown hair. It will chase you if it sees you in the hallways and will attempt to catch you. If caught, you will be sent back to the classroom, even if you are in the middle of changing the time of a clock. Your screen will become blurry if the Untrusted Adult is in your line of sight. It must be avoided at all times to successfully change the time on all the clocks during recess.

There is also a chance that when going into a safe zone, he will break his back and look at you, knowing you are hiding in there. Role? Enemy Can Appear In Dream Elementary During Recess Dangerous? YES

Shadow Friends: Shadow Friends are silhouettes of children in various poses, with an eerie all black look, that slightly resembles a stick figure.

Some Shadow Friends hold balloons, school gear, or are in groups of two or more. The Shadow Friends exit from now-opened doors and move throughout the halls in a linear pattern when it is time to leave. Note that their walk pattern is irregular and can turn sharp corners when the player least expects it. They can block your way, and if you touch them, you will respawn back into the classroom. They are not found anywhere in the halls until the Afternoon or the Ending Nightmare.

If you have trouble evading this monster, walk near the walls since there are less students walking around there. If needed, go into a bathroom room and wait out for them to pass for clearer way. To evade them in the Ending Nightmare, it is advised to try and predict where they'll be as it is hard to see their silhouette in the black background and evade them coordinately. CAN GO BY, Students Appears In Dream Elementary Role? Enemy Dangerous? Yes
