Kaien let out a muffled cry of pain as he was pinned against the wall by two bullies, the third boy punching him in the nose. Blood started to trickle down his face, his nose leaking crimson, staining his pale features. The bully pulled up his shirt, pressing a cigarette to his slender stomach, burning him. Kaien struggled to escape their grasp, as they laughed and mocked him as he started to tear up. The cigarette left a red, sensitive burn mark that was painful to the touch. The bully took a drag of the cigarette, blowing the smoke in Kaien's face before burning him again.
"Hey! Stop that, let him go, you jerks!" Kaien didn't know what exactly happened after that, but all he knew was the most beautiful, angelic girl he had ever seen was now holding a tissue to his bleeding nose.
