Backstory:born into a family of outstanding engineers Ibbie was destined for greatness, being born into such a family of course had it's difficulties, but as a child Ibbie had everything she wanted. her mother made her special toys and took her places, teaching her how the world functioned, while her father focused more on teaching ibbie the family business, working on Prosthetics, learning the ins and outs of machinery and the occasional broken down droid, ibbie loved every moment of it, spending countless nights watching her father in the workshop, aspiring to be just like him. When Ibbie was sixteen her father passed away in a accident involving faulty machinery, leaving her and her mother devastated, though being young and still inexperienced, Ibbie took the mantle of head engineer, leaning on her mother for support and guidance. The stress of managing the business and the heavy toll her father's death took on her was difficult, although she managed long enough to become completely independent, insisting that she didn't need her mother anymore and that she could manage by herself. When Ibbie was twenty she finally convinced her mother to retire from the trade, finally taking complete ownership of the workshop and business, fully supporting both her and her mother.

• Damian Smith, father. Had a close relationship before his death, still views him as her idol. "Sometimes I miss dad, but he's gone, and that's just... Something I can't fix."
