[Basic Description/Visual Description: A whale shark humanoid creature that dons an old dark green parka suit with a grey shirt underneath, and wears absolutely no pants but doesn't even need clothes anyway. He has white hair, thick and rough sandpaper-like midnight blue skin with white spots covering him and acting as freckles on his face, ears that stick out from his hair, a fin on his upper-back, a huge tail which sticks from his backside and lastly he has a white underbelly and a pair of gills positioned on his neck. 6’4 feet and 240 kg. Visibly very muscular and his arms and chest have ta mokos tracing down.]

[Mannerisms: Cathrinus is an awkward talker, not knowing that much English. He'll usually say words in short bursts, and speak faster than the average goob. This is due to the fact he knows English only because he copied it from people living on Eden.]

[Personality= calm, gentle, genuine, mentally dense, protective, straight forward, logical, hot-headed, empathetic, selfless.]

[Personality in description: Cathrinus, despite his staunch build and tall height, is a generally nice person. He can be blunt, clueless or dense, but outside of those three things, he’s really a good person to talk to. He’s a naturalist weapon constructor who can work with 20th century tools and equipment, although this also gives him the con of not being properly capable of using modern 30th century technology and tools, which means he requires assistance when working with them.]

[Misc details: Cathy can eat a massive amount when he’s hungry. Cathy is culturally based on Māori. He revels in rainy/stormy weather and can stand the heat as well, making him formidable. Despite his incredible skill with organic technology, his constant naturalist nature also brings him struggle for modern technology, making him useless when it comes to using computers and things of that nature. Cathy is always docile and friendly to other people, and he’s actually hard to annoy, which gets annoying in and of itself. Cathy is one of the last native shark humanoids/goob species to not live in Eden's resident's, only living in his own handmade houses in random forests and plains, although this gives him the benefit of living in peace, the companies throughout Eden continuously track his homes down and proceed to take them down, claiming he's a squatter, making him a bit of a fugitive.]

[Favourite food and drink: Crab, plankton, phytoplankton and zooplankton, fish, coconut milk, water, fruit, juice, glass, berries, algae, tuna, beef, jerky, moss.]

[Weapon/Arsenal analysis: A pair of fingerless leather braces that reach half-way up the forearm, with old hockey skate-blades placed on the back of the forearm, making a sharp pair of weapons that can soar through flesh. The only downside is that the blades can break with enough force, and that the blades only reach before his forearm ends to stop himself from cutting himself if he were to pull his hand up with an outstretched arm for a palm-strike. Also, the bracers have sharp pyramids on the knuckles to pummel people better.]

[Fighting Style: Cathrinus uses a heavy, slow, yet powerful fighting style, using heavy swings to smash his enemies to pieces with his fists. Despite his genuine strength and potential for finesse, his fighting style is inpure and dirty, making him prone to eye pokes, nut strikes, etc. However, with his immense strength, he also has the ability to pick up large items out of the floor such as garden lights, roadsigns, electric boxes and large metal closets, to use as huge weapons.]

[Setting location/what is eden?: Eden is dystopian as fuck. Normal people are brushed off as emotionless automatons (as to why no normal person is focused in the story) the world is slowly falling apart and everything is falling to shit. The main characters love it here! Nearly everything you can think of is possible in this place.

Eden is a large earthlike planet being roughly 1.5x bigger than earth. Carries a population of 21 billion people making it very crowded. Orbiting it is 3 moons, the largest being shattered into pieces visible from the night sky. The planet is located in a binary star system of 2 yellow giants called vita and shango.

The population is comparable to india. Large slums with most of the people but also has fancy cities with the 0.1% living inside. The economy is so fucked over, most people straight up dont get paid and are forced to work out of contract for their lives.

Shark-co is the first major megacorporation on eden, this is their major population centre and they own basically everything. You don't own something without that familiar shark on the back. Many many people sign their lives away just to allow them and their families to live under the corporations control. It's better than starving though, so what can you do?

Earth does still exist in this universe however its too far away and far too polluted to be worth visiting. The especially unfortunate stayed while the “lucky” ones got dragged over to eden. People gave away everything to escape earth after the outbreak of diseases, war, famine and corruption. To think of it eden isnt much different.

Technology has advanced so much further now due to the unrestricted experimentation and work laws happened. People can be turned effectively immortal for better or worse. Sentient machines, powerful prosthetics, energy weapons, laser swords. You name it we have it.

Something is powering the planet. And there is no generators or nuclear plants here. Some make assumptions about why but most are completely unsure.

Through all of this, Cathrinus continues to live, making his homes in generally empty plains as well as large forests and areas with lakes, ponds and rivers. Though, he has an issue with keeping his homes, since supercompanies harass him for the land.

(trivia: eden is named after the biblical garden of eden meaning paradise. This was to bring more people over who thought it was an escape from all their issues.)]
