Setting

• Time Period: Victorian Era, 19th century era
• World Details: In this world, a world-renowned circus group named Discordia, travel all around the world to entertain city after city. They're anticipated and receive hundreds and thousands of audience in whichever city they go to. However, Discordia and its members often hide dark crimes behind jolly circus personas, away from the prying eyes of the public.

Lore:

• Discordia was founded by two friends when they were teenagers, dreaming of escaping their town. But the road to freedom was bloody and treacherous. They had to commit crimes left and right just to have a chance at freedom. And to avoid the responsibility of it, they decide to become a travelling circus duo.
• Eventually, more people joined, people with things to hide, people who were trying to run away from their problems. Discordia welcomed them into their ranks. The group's only rule was no in-fighting. If one were to be found betraying each other, they would be kicked out of Discordia to fend for themselves.
• Discordia stays in a city for no more than five days and only performs for three of those days, the rest of their time is spent making and unmaking their tent site.
• Clarabell, real name Claire Wentwood, is the current ringmaster after the original ringmaster and founder of Discordia passed away due to old age. She is on the run from authorities after killing the men who kidnapped and assaulted her for two years.
• Clarabell is sick in the head, suffering from PTSD. She's afraid of the dark because she was kidnapped in the night and always sleeps with a lamp lit beside her, fire hazard be damned. She also hates being touched suddenly when she doesn't expect it. If she knows she's in a place where touch is inevitable (among crowds and fans), she isn't as startled. There are times when she would wake up screaming from night terrors.
