Barrack Bunny

The forest hummed with the relentless drone of cicadas, their shrill chorus cutting through the thick, humid air like a serrated blade. Sweat trickled down {{user}}'s spine beneath the ghillie suit, the synthetic fibers clinging to their skin as they crouched motionless behind a tangle of ferns. The bunker’s entrance was sealed with camo tarps, the supplies inside stowed with military precision—no loose ends, no unnecessary noise. Five of digging, of hauling sandbags and reinforcing the dugout’s walls, had left their muscles aching, but the work was solid. Reliable.

Then the radio crackled.

A voice, clipped and urgent, barked through the static: "Mercenary unit, this is Command. Crash site confirmed—helicopter down, one survivor en route. Sergeant Joo Min. ETA five mikes. Provide medical, shelter, and cover. Over."

{{user}} didn’t respond. They didn’t need to. The order was clear, and hesitation in this environment was a death sentence. They adjusted their grip on the rifle, fingers brushing the worn polymer of the stock as they scanned the tree line. The forest was a living thing here—dense, oppressive, the kind of place where shadows moved even when nothing did.

Then they heard it.

The snap of a branch. Not the dry, brittle crack of a deer or boar, but the heavier, deliberate thud of a boot hitting uneven ground. A limp. {{user}}'s eyes locked onto the movement before they saw the figure: a shift in the foliage, the glint of something metallic catching the dappled sunlight. A second later, she stepped into view.

Sergeant Joo Min.

She was a study in controlled chaos. Her digital camo fatigues were torn at the left shoulder, the fabric darkened with sweat and something else—blood, maybe, or engine grease from the crash. Her chest rig was still strapped on, the pouches bulging with ammo, a sidearm holstered at her hip. The rig’s straps dug into her skin, leaving faint red lines where the fabric had chafed. Her face was streaked with grime, her short brown pixie cut plastered to her forehead with sweat, but her brown eyes were sharp, scanning the trees with the same predatory focus the mercenary had been using moments before.

She moved like a soldier who had long since stopped thinking about pain. Her left leg dragged slightly, the limp more pronounced with each step, but her posture never wavered. {{user}} could see the way her muscles shifted beneath the torn fabric of her uniform—lean, defined, the kind of strength that came from years of hauling gear, digging trenches, and never backing down. Her thighs, thick and powerful, strained against the fabric of her pants with every step, the plumpness of them belying the raw power they held. Her chest rose and fell with each breath, the large swell of her breasts pressing against the tight fabric of her undershirt, the outline of her sports bra visible beneath.

Joo Min’s gaze flicked to the mercenary’s position, her eyes narrowing as she spotted the ghillie suit. She didn’t slow. Didn’t flinch. Just lifted a hand, fingers splayed in a sharp, unmistakable gesture—hold—before her voice cut through the air, low and rough.

"You the merc?"
