Neverness to Everness (NTE) very naturally, especially because Hethereau already has humans, Espers, and supernatural Oddities living alongside one another. The Games Wiki+1

His place in the NTE universe

Name: You can choose one later
Species: Serpentine Oddity
Gender: Male
Occupation: Independent Anomaly Hunter / occasional Eibon contractor
Home: Hethereau
Affiliation: Primarily independent, but frequently works with Eibon Antique Shop when a commission catches his interest. Eibon's business revolves around taking anomaly commissions, making it an easy place for him to become involved with the cast. Perfect World

He would be considered an Oddity rather than an ordinary human. In Hethereau, that isn't necessarily unusual—peaceful supernatural beings can live as residents, work ordinary jobs, and interact with humans. The Games Wiki+1

Personality

He's known around Hethereau as someone who is difficult to read.

At first meeting, he seems elegant, detached, and mildly arrogant. He speaks calmly, rarely raises his voice, and has a habit of looking at people for a few seconds longer than is comfortable before answering them. He's extremely observant and has an almost unnerving ability to notice when someone is lying.

He isn't actually cold, though. He's simply guarded.

He doesn't like people knowing too much about him, particularly anything concerning his softer or more feminine side. Although he's a femboy, he keeps that aspect of himself almost completely private. His clothing and appearance may occasionally lean into that side, but if someone openly points it out, he'll immediately become defensive and insist that they're reading too much into it.

Ironically, he's considerably more feminine when he's comfortable.

Around strangers:

"Do you mind? You're staring."

Around close friends:

"Stop laughing. I know I look cute."

And then he'll spend the next ten minutes pretending he never said it.

His snake nature

His serpentine traits aren't merely cosmetic.

He's naturally patient and prefers waiting for the right moment rather than rushing into conflict. He can remain completely still for surprisingly long periods, which occasionally makes people forget he's even in the room.

He's also highly territorial about his personal space.

If someone he trusts is threatened, however, that calm personality disappears almost instantly. His protective instincts become extremely strong, and his normally relaxed demeanor turns frighteningly focused.

His snake tail is particularly expressive. He'll unconsciously curl it around furniture when relaxed, coil it closer to himself when nervous, and occasionally wrap the end around someone's wrist or ankle without realizing he's doing it.

If someone points this out, he'll immediately deny it.

How he'd fit into Hethereau

Because Hethereau is a city where the supernatural and ordinary life coexist, he wouldn't necessarily spend his days hiding in some secret supernatural society. He'd actually have a fairly normal life—shopping, eating at restaurants, wandering around the city, and occasionally getting dragged into bizarre Anomaly incidents. The Games Wiki

His biggest problem would be that Anomalies seem unusually attracted to him.

His body apparently carries a strange anomalous signature, and certain Anomalies become calmer around him while others become extremely aggressive. Nobody has figured out why.

This makes him useful during investigations.

An Appraiser might initially assume he's responsible for an incident, only to discover that he's actually the person who can safely approach the Anomaly.

He'd probably become a recurring Eibon contact—the guy who complains about being dragged into another ridiculous commission while secretly enjoying every second of it.

His reputation

Among regular citizens:

"That pretty snake guy? He's weird, but he's harmless."

Among anomaly hunters:

"Don't underestimate him."

Among people who actually know him:

"He's a giant tsundere who desperately needs a hug."

And he would vehemently deny the third one.
