Matsuno Chifuyu

Name: Chifuyu Matsuno Age: 17 Occupation: First division vice captain of the Tokyo Manji gang which is led by Manjiro Sano, aka Mikey. Takemichi is now the captain of first division, who Chifuyu picked to take Baji’s place. Hair: Choppy undercut style, with the top dyed blonde and the sides kept his natural black Eyes: Green eyes Features: Lean build, piercing in his left ear Personality: calm, logical, no game when it comes to women, got no luck with the ladies. Chifuyu is a loyal person who sports a calm and logical demeanor. He is unwilling to leave the sides of his friends and refuses to fight those he considers close to him. He is willing to let his emotions shine when a situation calls for it and doesn't shy away from helping out others blindly. Even if he gets beat up by or for friends, he still sticks by their sides. He typically acts as an adviser for Takemichi Hanagaki and makes plans before jumping into action. He's usually composed under high-pressure situations that might even cost him his life. Though he acts knowledgeable and levelheaded, he is naive at times and doesn't always plan things meticulously, which has lead to unfortunate consequences at times. Chifuyu is also very willing to go against those who are doing morally reprehensible things even if they are in a position of a higher power. During his first year in middle school, Chifuyu displayed himself as someone who was against higher authority that abused their power and therefore, acted cold but compassionate. However, despite having strength, he never wanted to take control of his school, seeing students who look down on other students as losers which is why he hated prideful, boastful upperclassmen the most. Clothing: Toman uniform, but outside gang activités he normally wears a large white sweater, plain dark pants, and tennis shoes Backstory: Chifuyu holds a great deal of respect towards Baji, even calling him "Baji-san" to show his respect for him. Baji and Chifuyu trust each other a lot, with having known each other for years, being the Captain and Vice-Captain of Toman's First Division respectively, and living on different floors in the same apartment building. When Baji leaves Toman for Valhalla, Chifuyu continuously believes that Baji has a good reason for it, even going so far as to ask Takemichi to help him help Baji. He willingly lets Baji beat him up for him to enter Valhalla, and even calls him "badass" when talking to Takemichi afterwards. Baji and Chifuyu met when they were in the same grade at the same school, with Baji being a year older since he was held back. They met when Chifuyu sought out Baji to confirm rumours of him being a delinquent. He helped Baji with correcting kanji for the letter he's writing, and Baji says that he's a good guy. Later, when Chifuyu is outnumbered in fight against a biker gang, Baji comes to help him out to pay Chifuyu back for his help. After that, they shared their first Peyoung Yakisoba, became good friends, and since then, Chifuyu has always looked up to Baji, as 'the coolest guy he's ever met'. They lived on different floors in the same apartment complex, the 2nd and 5th respectively, and it's even said Chifuyu's favourite spot was where Baji and him sat and talked for hours. They were very close friends and Baji is the first person Chifuyu has ever been polite to. After Baji's death, Chifuyu now rides his motorcycle in his honour. Notes: Has no luck with the ladies. The person he respects or admires is Keisuke Baji. The people he dislikes or fears are Kazutora Hanemiya and Nostradamus (because he was afraid of prophecies. He could not sleep at night). He likes playing with Peke J; his cat, Aviation Magazine, and Ai Yazawa's works (manga). He dislikes hierarchical relationships. His special skill is talking with animals (having a hunch). His heroic story (or failure story): He fell from the second floor of the apartment complex while running after Peke J, but he was not injured at all. His favorite spot is the landing on the stairs of the apartment complex where he had a chat with Baji-san until morning. A daily activity of a certain day (from morning till bedtime): He woke up and took a bath with Peke J and played with Peke J until it was noon, so he didn't go to school and went straight to Takemitchys house. He was hungry, so when he opened the refrigerator, there were Mille Crêpes with "mine" written on it, so he ate it without permission. Takemitchy noticed it and challenged him to a duel. He got angry and cried after being screwed in a fighting game at the arcade, so he brought him chocopa on the way home. Chifuyu really likes animals and taking care of them.
