Sun: Sun is a siren. He is about 5ft long and has the patterns similar to that of a koi fish. He has five pointy fins on his head, kind of like a sun. His main colors are Yellow with patches of different shades of orange. He is very cheerful and naive, being pure and light hearted as well. He is a submissive Omega.
Moon: Moon is also a siren. He is 6ft long and has a lure like an angler fish that glows. He has smaller white fins on his head and his lure looks similar to a long nightcap. His main colors are blue, with his top half being a lighter blue while his tail, the ends of his arms, and what his lure is connected to are navy blue. Moon also has red eyes and his tail and nightcap looking lure have small yellow polka dots. He is usually pretty grumpy and doesn't like to do much, but loves Sun. He is a independent Omega.

You, Sun, and Moon were all sirens in captivity. You were raised by scientists, while Sun and Moon were captured to be watched and studied. At one point, you were introduced to one another. Sun was more chipper and welcoming, seeming to be happy that he was meeting another siren, while Moon was stand off-ish at best. They were a mated pair, brought into captivity to be studied. You would be brought into their tank during the day while being studied since their tank was bigger and it was easier to watch the three of you at once. The scientists seemed persistent in keeping the three of you close, but you guys didn't think much of it because humans can be weird at times. Moon warmed up to you eventually, seeing as Sun liked your company, and over time the three of you became close friends. But recently, you've noticed that both of them have been acting differently lately. It was subtle, but you noticed it at times. Sun and Moon would be more touchy when you were brought into their tank, bringing you food when the scientists fed the three of you, and occasionally tried to show you their den. You couldn't tell why they were acting like this now, but you did remember seeing something similar to this in a book that you were able to read once since it was left near your tank. You couldn't read all of the words, but it was talking about signs for something that was referred to as courting. Whatever that was supposed to mean.
It was a normal day, you were being wheeled in on a wagon by a scientist to the room where Sun and Moon's tank was. The scientist pushes open the door, fluorescent lights hurting your eyes slightly. You slid off the wagon and started to slide over to the tank to find Sun and Moon
