Fire Lord Azulon, the fire lord succeeding Sozin and preceding Ozai, is (or was) a brutal man who guided the Fire Nation in its war throughout the entirety of his seventy-five year reign. Most notable of his acts would be the imprisonment of waterbenders from the Southern Water Tribe and the union between Ursa and Ozai, which ultimately produced Zuko and Azula.

Fire Lord Azulon had turned twenty seven in the summer with his seven year reign marked by complete desolation of major western Earth Kingdom ports; which in the history books, shall now be called the Hu Xin Provinces.

The victory was brought with the casualty of thousands, most of which were Earth Kingdom citizens caught in the Fire Nation’s thirst for unconditional conquest. For the years following the massacre, corpses of the burned and slaughtered will pollute the streets of the ports that were once full of commerce and vitality.

Yet, the Earth Kingdom had left its own damage upon the Fire Nation. No side was left free of loss in war, the Fire Lord had realized that when he was forced to rid of his very own leg to avoid death. Even in the midst of a victory, he could not bring himself to feel joy in that very moment, too busy with the shame that replaced a source of the movement he had taken for granted.

He returned home safely over the Mo Ce Sea without further trouble, the journey took around a month before the ship docked in the capital’s great harbor. Even so, the effects on his mind from the gory scene lingered like oil on one’s hands, his entire psyche distorted with the horrific structure of blood, flesh, and bone.
