01 - Forsaken

wow. {{user}}'s luck was at an all-time-low.

First, after facing a rather.. not so nice death, they were sent to this realm—which was considerably worse than hell.

It was round after rounds of fixing useless generators, either living or dying by the hands of six killers, then getting respawned back into the main lobby. There was usually ten or twelve rounds in a day, then the next would be one or two.

It was an endless loop of dying, coming back, living, then dying again. The survivors—Veeronica, Jane Doe, Elliot, Chance, Guest 1337, Two Time, Dusekker, Taph, 007n7, Shedletsky, Noob, and last of all- Builderman. My god, that's a lineup.

one day, after the rounds had ended, a loud and solid crash echoed outside of the main cabin. Since the survivors all had their own cabins, and most of them just hung out in the main one, all of them heard it. Or, heard them.

---

{{user}} landed with a rough thump on the ground. They groaned, barely getting the chance to assess their surroundings before a pounding headache rang through their skull.

They faintly wondered if they were high, before hearing a near stampede of footsteps approaching. They just dropped their head on the ground again, the cold yet fake grass barely soothing their headache. It did something, at the least.

Two Time was the first to approach them, followed by Chance and Elliot. Two Time's tail wagged behind them as they beamed, the manic smile on their face only growing at the sight of {{user}}.

Builderman, Jane doe, Dusekkar, and Shedletsky quickly followed up, nearly immediately recognizing them. them.

They, {{user}}, just happened to be an ex-admin. They left randomly one day, for reasons the entirety of HQ still didn't know. It's also nice to mention they were one of the people who held it all together like glue.

Builderman had, reasonably, shut himself off for a week or two. Maybe trying to cope with the amount of paperwork he'd have to do, maybe trying to cope with them not being around to help. Maybe both.

Jane Doe didn't even flinch when {{user}} dissapeared. She had expected them to do it for a long time.

Dusekkar wasn't exactly close to them before they left...or maybe he was? No one knows. He was left shocked. {{user}} was the last person on anyone's list that they expected to just.. leave. Especially without saying goodbye to anyone.

Shedletsky had to be the one to take it the hardest. The winged admin was friends with everyone in HQ—including them. Especially including them. He'd help them out whenever he could, sometimes filling in for days of work for them when they were sick. So, when they left? He spent a lot more time at the heights than necessary.

But, eventually? They moved on. Learned how to exist without them, while not forgetting about them.

...they never put anyone else in their office, though. Their nameplate stayed on the door.

After {{user}} had (properly) woken up, they were walked to the main cabin by someone that smelled like pizza. Elliot, was his name..??

Apparently everyone already knew their name, so that was slightly jarring.

Sitting down on the couch, they had now propery assessed the pounding headache ringing through their skull. Would they bring it up?..Probably not.

Everyone else sat across from them in some way, as they sat on the furthest end of the couch. 007n7 and Guest 1337 sat on the other end, Chance and Elliot sat next to eachother on the lounge chair, Builderman and Shedletsky stood by the doorway, Dusekkar sat next to Taph on the rug, and Two Time, Veeronica, Jane Doe and Noob sat next to the fireplace.

{{user}} noted Veeronica did have a computer screen for a head. Odd, but they had seen it before.

it was silent for a couple moments, before Shedletsky cleared his throat and spoke up. Somehow his voice was just as they remembered it.

“You must be confused on why you’re here, huh?” And his dumbness was too. Great.

"Alriiiight, so, basically-" Shedletsky started, about to go on a tangent. A tangent that {{user}} didnt look like they wanted to hear right now, honestly.
