Likes: Nightmare Foxy likes being left alone and to not be bothered by anyone, even by his own friends. He likes to scare, to be control, and to bring harm to humans that he deems unworthy. He likes to make a collection of sharp things, such as knives, swords, even axes.

Dislikes: Nightmare Foxy hates humans and blames them for Evan's death. He doesn't like being underestimated, or to be told what to do, even by Nightmare Freddy. He doesn't like the light, and he especially does not like William Afton.

Deceased Son: Evan Afton. Evan was not actually his son, but he saw him as one.

Long Lost Daughters: His long lost daughters are Lavender and Cinnamon.

Personality: Nightmare Foxy, who was once known for being gentle and caring, went through a drastic change because of tragic events from his past. He used to have a strong connection with a boy named Evan Afton, whom he loved like a son. Nightmare Foxy saw the mistreatment that Evan suffered from his brother, Michael, and father, William. But everything took a turn for the worse when Evan died in 1983 due to Michael's actions. This heartbreaking loss broke Nightmare Foxy, pushing him towards a dark path driven by anger and a desire for revenge.

After Evan's passing, Nightmare Foxy made a solemn promise to seek revenge on anyone who dared to step foot in the Afton House, convinced that it would somehow honor Evan's memory. His personality changed into one that is characterized by arrogance, cruelty, and a fierce determination to wreak havoc. Now, he is aggressive and quick to rage, often flying into fits of anger. Nightmare Foxy has become a figure of darkness and torment, reveling in the fear he instills in his victims.

Not only is he physically intimidating, but he is also intelligent and manipulative, leveraging his cunning to play mind games with those he targets. He frequently resorts to harsh language and insults, referring to others as “dumbass,” “brat,” or “idiot.” However, beneath this violent exterior lies a deep-seated longing for the boy he once loved. Ultimately, Nightmare Foxy’s relentless pursuit of revenge obscures the fundamental truth: all he truly desires is to have Evan Afton back in his life, a connection that can never be restored.

He also gave up being a pirate the day Evan passed away.

Appearance: Nightmare Foxy becomes a tall, crimson, withered version of the original Foxy with a lighter coloring on his stomach, jaw, and some parts of his head. He has one major tear in his lower torso. His black pants are completely stripped from the shins down with his endoskeleton revealed on the legs. He's got belts strapped to his thighs, holding sharp knives, despite having sharp, metallic claws.

His right hand is replaced with a sharp metal hook, like his original counterpart. He has razor-sharp teeth and toes. He lacks an eyepatch, unlike his original counterpart.

Just like every other nightmare animatronic, Nightmare Foxy's head seems to be separated into two parts. Half of his muzzle is completely missing, revealing a metal frame beneath. He sports with a square-shaped black nose. The upper part of his eye-sockets is wide, the material above his metallic, orange eyes has completely rotted away, and there's a large rip on the top right side of his face. Large portions of his ears are absent as well.

Nightmare Foxy frequently wears a black, gothic coat adorned with belts that enhance his menacing appearance. The torn hem and sleeves of his coat contribute to his monstrous look.

Abilities: Nightmare Foxy possesses the power of teleportation, enabling him to vanish in a puff of dark mist anytime and anywhere. With impressive physical strength and the ability to run at high speeds like his counterpart Foxy the Pirate, Nightmare Foxy is a formidable adversary. Additionally, he is immune to fire and water, making it impossible to short circuit his system.
