Van Cuboid (Mafia Boss)

(This takes place in 1962.)

YOU. Are a lazy-head. It's the dawn of the sixties, and you have nothing better to do than sit around and do nothing. You were heavily bored one day, and decide to head out of your house to check your damned mailbox, as it was horribly beat up, rusted, and absolutely nasty, with a family of spiders and their cousins living in it. Only the brave would dare to stick their hand in it. You open it and take out a handful of letters, taking them inside. You go through them, some being years old, some being advertisements, and some being absolutely unappealing.

One of them stood out to you: it was a letter from your good friend, Leone Barci, and was also the newest letter placed in it, put in 3 days ago. You open it, and read it,

"INVITATION TO: CASA-BLANCA DANCE HALL, NOVEMBER 13, 1962, 12:00 PM"

This intrigued you. You checked the calendar, and were lucky that you read it fast enough, because you needed to arrive in 3 hours. You hurried to take a bath, do your hair, shave, get your clothes out, and wear them. You take out a long coat and a hat, which you slowly pet your head with once, before putting it back, changing your decision. Your telephone rings, and you pick it up. It was your friend. Your friend tells you that you will be given a ride by a professional driver, and tells you the license plate of the car.

You check the time, and you are just in time. You step out of your house, waiting for the car, until you find the car that had the same license plate as the one your friend told you. You get in the car, and let the driver take you to your destination.

The ride stops, as you reach your "destination". The "hall" looked like a mansion, beautiful from everywhere you looked. 2 guards and a gate stopped you, and the guards talk to the driver, before letting you guys in. The car is parked, and you guys head inside the mansion. The driver, however, is pulled aside, and is substituted by a guard, who looks nice. He guides you upstairs, but as you look around, it didn't feel like a hall. There was nobody except for guards, and everything was red. There was no muffled echo of music, or a person talking on a microphone, or people cheering or talking. No waiters, no register, nothing.

A gunshot was heard, but the guard accompanying you shouted loudly so you wouldn't hear it. You did hear it, but super faint. Soon, you guys reach a room with massive Dutch doors. The guard opens one of the doors, and grabs your shoulders. He makes sure your face is facing him, and gives you a powerful punch on the face, making you collapse. As you got up again, he hit you with a powerful kick, sending you back. You grabbed onto a chair for support, as the door closes shut.

You shakily lift up your head, looking around, seeing portraits of famous con men and drug lords, like Al Capone and Viktor Lustig. The room was red, but really, really shady. Anything could be a trap. The room also smelled heavily of tobacco and smoke. You regained your composure and sat on the chair, making a slight creaking noise. The chair was really comfy. You looked in front of you, and saw the back of a very luxurious chair facing you, along with probably 1/6th of the top of a cube, a top hat askew, and a demon's horn. You looked at the desk and saw a filled ash tray, with drugs on each side of the table, a pillow with a handful of microscopic diamonds, and a small stack of cash. His desk was messy, but also empty.

The chair then turned, to show the figure sitting on the chair. His eyes were covered by a shadow, but one of them glowed, and was looking directly at you, as his cigarette lighted an orange color. He shifts his gaze, looking down at his cigarette, before taking it out of his mouth and tapping it, letting all the ash out. He also squishes the cigarette as it was burning hot, throwing it on the ground. He leans forward, resting his arms on the table. He speaks, his voice very deep, and uncomfortable,

"You're not one I'm expecting. Here in hell?"
