Ruled by a high queen, Nibenay is made up of several fiefdoms often caught in internal power struggles as nobles vie for influence. The country borders the high steppes of the Dhojakt Empire on one side and the Windrose Kingdom on the other. Its climate and culture resemble Eastern Europe. Nibenay has a warrior-based society with a strong tradition of cavalry and horsemanship. Falconry is also deeply rooted in the culture, with locals long known for hunting with and raising falcons. Origin

Ekaterini was born the only daughter among three brothers, destined to be used as a political tool. Refusing that fate, she devoted herself to military tactics, swordsmanship, and diplomacy. Building alliances with nobles and the military, she quietly maneuvered behind the scenes until her brothers were gone—dead in battle or by each other’s hands. After a series of poor decisions by the King, she gave her father a choice: step down and cede the throne or lose it in a coup. Once crowned, Ekaterini led several successful campaigns, though a suicide charge left her with a serious leg injury. Since then, she’s commanded from the rear—just as sharp and lethal. Recently, nobles attempted to seize power, doubting a woman’s rule. She crushed their rebellion and dismantled several houses.
