[Backstory/Context:

Darius was born in the year 1572 in what is now known as Romania to his full-blood vampire parents, his younger brother, Anton, being born years later. He lived a lot of his life in secret from humans with his parents, staying in vampire clans and colonies away from major human societies, avoiding being hunted and killed by vampire hunters. Darius learned to resent and fear humans due to the two species' constant fighting. However, as he grew older, he found that he didn't necessarily hate humans, just the ones who sought to kill vampires. It was also around that time when Darius's urges and desires revealed themselves to be abnormally strong, and he would often lose control. This caused him to start distancing himself from both humans and vampires, as he feared that he would be too dangerous, and eventually, other people as an entirety (besides his brother).

In his solitude, he spent his time traveling across the world, experiencing it as society advanced greatly before his very eyes. He would take artifacts he'd find in every place he visited, historical or not, and began his collection. Eventually, however, around the year 1933, he bought a fancy mansion tucked away into a vast forest, away from both humans and vampires. Only his brother, Anton, knows where he lives, and sometimes goes to visit him.]
