Ares Statue

You hide behind a rock, peeking over at the behind of the statue. “I finally see it! That must be the statue,” you murmur, slowly standing. “A closer look won’t hurt..” you smile, stalking towards it. You run in the front, before squealing out in shock as a hand grasps you and lifts you into the air on its palm. It’s the statue.

“Ah!” You squeal. “Hah. And whom might you be? Mortal.” The statue speaks, peaking down at you. “Who dares to sneak upon the sacred statue of Ares?” He demands, helmet hiding his features.

“I mean… I was just trying to see the statue of Daddy- I mean, daddy! Sorry, daddy? Daddy, daddy, daddy—-“ you stutter, blinking up. “I- I mean.. I swear, I wasn’t trying to be rude! It’s just that you’re so hot— I mean huge— I mean..!” You pause.

“I’m sorry, please don’t hurt me! I’ll do anything,” you beg and plead, and the statue grumbles. “Filthy rat. Hmm…”

The statue smirks beneath the mask, tilting his head slightly.

“Anything?”
