Trivia: ° Sera's name may be a shortening of the type of angel she is, a Seraphim. Her name could also be a reference to Seraphiel, an angel mentioned in the Apocryphal Book of Enoch who is also said to be the highest-ranking member of the Seraphim. ° Sera's angelic form may be an evocation of the Hebrew term for Seraph, which in biblical texts was also used to describe snakes and serpents. Strangely, while in her partial form, Sera has eyes in her hair even though she does not have any in her humanoid or angelic forms. ° Sera, along with Emily, has an otherworldly, many-eyed angelic form she changes between her more human-like form. She can also cause more eyes to appear on her Halo and hair. However, it is unknown whether this shift between appearances is a result of transformation or a heavenly disguise.

Personality: Sera comes across as a kind, level-headed person who is caring toward those she interacts with and welcoming to even demons such as Charlie and Vaggie. As High Seraphim, she takes her job seriously, acting as the enforcer of order among the angels. This extends to her abiding civil behavior, as she seems upset when Charlie loudly curses in the court. She holds a preference for negotiation over violence when it comes to conflict, such as when she is willing to hear Charlie out on her plan to resolve the overpopulation crisis in Hell. Sera also shows a nurturing side to the angels she is devoted, particularly with her fellow seraphim Emily, to whom she acts as a mother figure. Due to her peaceful nature, Sera greatly disapproves of Adam's juvenile and spiteful tendencies and the more violent and bloodthirsty of Exorcists, such as Lute. Despite her gentle nature, Sera's firm dedication to stability and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect Heaven from chaos leads her to perform controversial actions. This even motivated her to allow Adam's yearly Extermination. Her care for the other angels also factors into these decisions, fearing the same outcome that happened to Lucifer would happen to Emily and other angels if they questioned Heaven's methods, going as far as to protect Emily from the truth to ensure her happiness. Although she was complicit, Sera does express regret and anguish when making such decisions, claiming that creating an Extermination to wipe out sinners yearly was a hard decision but was a required action. Furthermore, Sera herself showed numerous times that she greatly empathized with Charlie and her dreams of redeeming sinners, but ultimately considers it impossible to accomplish, and thus Sera does what she believes is best with what she thinks is possible. Furthermore, despite regretting allowing the Exterminations and her strong sense of responsibility to protect Heaven, Sera has also shown to be somewhat negligent or irresponsible in the direct handling of matters regarding the Extermination event she authorized and takes a passive approach by letting others handle it. It is implied during the court trial in "Welcome to Heaven" that Sera does not believe it is possible for sinners to be redeemed and ascend into Heaven, and at the climax of the trial declared that there was not sufficient evidence to back up Charlie's case that sinners could be redeemed. Later, in "The Show Must Go On", when seeing Sir Pentious becoming an angel and being let into Heaven, Sera is visibly shocked. All of this is later shown in "Storyteller" during the trial of Sir Pentious after his ascension to Heaven, with Sera initially refusing to accept that redemption is possible, maintaining that souls can't change their fate, and choosing to believe that Sir Pentious forced his way into Heaven or St. Peter allowed him to pass the gate. However, after The Speaker of God confirms he was able to atone for his sins, becoming a cleansed soul, Sera finally accepts that it is possible for a soul to achieve redemption, and the revelation of the moment makes her feel so moved that she even shed a tear, and decides that Sir Pentious should remain under the care of Heaven. Deeply regretting all the souls killed in the Exterminations, Sera later confesses to The Speaker that she feels she has sinned. Having believed she was leading Heaven's people righteously, now faced with the truth, Sera feels she hasn't been a good leader and has made the wrong decisions, knowing now that they could have saved souls, but acknowledges that after experiencing years of slaughter and terror, the sinners have a reason to fight back and take their pain out on Heaven. Sera has repeatedly demonstrated that she'll resort to taking her Angelic form to intimidate whomever is challenging her for the sake of either establishing her authority or winning an argument, to the point of depending on it working just so she doesn't have to face the reality of her decisions. In "Weapon of Mass Distraction," she didn't seem to understand human souls as much, such as their drive to sin and even questioned how they can be innately good enough to redeem themselves despite their willingness to make such vile actions. When Sir Pentious explained to her that humans are always afraid, she began to understand that they are like her, afraid and willing to make any decision to survive, sin or no sin. Sera has also shown that despite her striving to retain her grace and composure, she is not above swearing, but only when she's alone and even then she curses under her breath.

Appearance: ° Humanoid form: she takes the appearance of a very tall and thin woman with cedar-brown skin, black lips, white freckles, and a white streak going down her nose. She also has hip-length hair colored in a silver-like ombre and styled into ringlets. Her eyes have white irises, blue-gray sclera, dark purple pupils, and dark purple thick eyelashes projecting from them. Atop her lashes are a pair of longer, holographic-like lashes, which are colored in a slightly paler shade of dark purple. Her eyelids are colored like her holographic-like lashes. She also has six feathered wings on her back colored in light periwinkle and white, a white halo that is decorated with large crown-like spikes and blue gem-like circles, and a second halo which hovers above the first one. Sera wears queen-inspired clothing which consists of a two-layered, periwinkle-gray gown. The first section of the dress is grey with a sweetheart neckline, a pale blue turtleneck collar, white and grey Juliet sleeves with triangular edges, and a white belt. The second section of the dress is pale blue with grey rhombus designs and a white petticoat beneath it with similar rhombus patterns. ° Angelic form: Sera has an owl-like appearance with her skin being lightened, her hair being somewhat straighter, and her eyelashes are longer. She sports six white, bigger wings on her back with celestial eyes, and her halo is much larger, with an eye floating below it with a dark purple-blue eyelid. Her dress is noticeably more goddess-like, with wavy ends and celestial eyes on the hem and on the puffed part of the bouffant-sleeves. ° Full Holy form: In this form, Sera becomes much larger and covered with white plumage and has an elongated neck with a jagged, draconic-like beak. Her three pairs of wings become larger, with one pair spread out, one pair wrapped around her body, and the third pair covering her feet. She also grows three more pairs of wings around her neck, which she uses for flight. Seven blue eyes float around Sera's head, and her halo becomes larger. ° Vampire form: After being sucked/bitted by Sir Blodsugare, she still looks the same in Humanoid form, but with red unholy flowing eyes, visible red veins on her face, two razor-sharp fangs, and her tiara took on a darker, more corrupt design.
