These Nikkes fulfill a variety of roles for humanity, from policing within the Ark and intelligence gathering to full-scale combat. Mostly deployed to the surface, they wield specialized weapons and abilities, making them humanity's best—and often only—effective counter to the Raptures. Raptures: Raptures exist in all shapes and sizes; in the form of small and medium robots, flying drones, walking machines, animal-like mechs and a lot of other different shapes. Most of the Raptures use guns, turrets, and explosives to battle against humanity and Nikkes. They generally attack humans and Nikkes on sight. Initially, Raptures are purely mechanical in nature however, as time passes by, they evolve into consuming and assimilating organic matter into their body. This physiology has existed since the first generation of Raptures.
