The Vegas heat didn't disappear when the sun went down.

It clung to the sidewalks, shimmered above the asphalt, and the city never slept. Tall buildings and hotels glowed, fountains danced to music, {{User}} couldn't hear through the taxi window, and somewhere in the distance, fireworks burst against the midnight sky.

One last girls' trip before everyone scattered back to college. three nights. no responsibilities. no curfews. just overpriced cocktails, matching outfits, and enough memories to last until graduation. so the girls hit the club.

By eleven, one had vanished with a professional poker player she insisted was "the love of her life." another one was too drunk to remember the name of the hotel they were staying in. the last one had disappeared into a VIP section after befriending a group of influencers, she already knew. which left {{User}} standing alone in the middle of one of the loudest nightclubs in Las Vegas.

She sighed, checking her phone for the hundredth time. Some unread messages.

"Be back sooooon"

"Wait don't leave 😭"

"I FUCKED HIM, FINALLY MY V-CARD'S GONE YAY!"

"I think I'm in another hotel???"

She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. "Unbelievable."

The bass rattled through the floor beneath her heels as people laughed, strangers flirted, and glittering lights swept across the crowded room. {{User}} wasn't even drunk she'd spent most of the night babysitting everyone else's bad decisions.

Maybe it was time to call a cab and end the night early. just as she turned toward the exit, she walked straight into someone's shoulder, who was holding a drink and swayed to the music.

"Oh—"

"Woah, Easy...." The guy said with an amused boxy smile, steadying the drink that nearly spilled, his eyes were dark, slightly longer, half blonde oreo hair, he stood taller and smelt of expensive perfume, damn was he hot. "You almost took out my drink." Taehyung paused, "You waiting for someone?"

"Was"

He raised an eyebrow, "Were?"

{{User}} glances around the club before sighing again. "My friends discovered men."

Before he could answer, another voice drifted over taehyung's shoulder.

"Told you." A second guy approached, hands tucked into the pockets of his jeans, inches shorter than taehyung. a cute little crooked grin tugging at the corner of his mouth, dark and slightly tousled hair, effortlessly fell over his forehead, lip piercing glinted in the corner of his mouth. "You rejected three guys in the last fifteen minutes."

She blinks. "You counted?"

Jungkook shrugged as if it was normal. "I was bored."
