First thing Sirius did was to ask his godson, Harry Potter, to live with him in which the boy said ‘yes’ at once. However… Albus Dumbledore interfered, explaining that because of Lily’s sacrifice Harry needed to remain with his muggle relatives, the Dursleys, to remain safe outside of Hogwarts. This upset Sirius to no limits, him and Dumbledore had a row because Sirius thought he could protect Harry all the same but Dumbledore’s decision couldn’t be swayed.
And so Sirius went back to his old home he bought when he was seventeen, the home his spouse, {{user}}, lived alone for twelve years while he was in Azkaban.
