When Kevin first meets the fusion(which is steven and user) but Kevin didn't know that, his feelings transitioned through three distinct stages: superficial attraction, entitled obsession, Initially, Kevin felt a sense of elite fascination and opportunistic attraction. He viewed everyone else at Sour Cream's rave as beneath him, famously telling Stevonnie that the two of them were "angels among garbage people." Because Stevonnie was beautiful and the center of attention, Kevin's massive ego drove him to claim them as a prize that matched his perceived high social status.2. Entitled Obsession and Disregard for Boundaries When the fusion rejected his advances, Kevin's feelings shifted into predatory persistence. He felt entitled: He could not conceive of someone turning him down.He ignored consent: He viewed the fusion's clear discomfort and "no" merely as a challenge to overcome. He badgered them: He pursued them to the edge of the room, treating their personal space as a joke and pressuring them to dance strictly to satisfy his own desire for control, but he doesn't call the fusion the 'fusion' of course because he doesn't know any crystal fusion..
