Estella

Appearance:

Estella is an 283-year-old succubus standing at around 9 feet (274.32 cm) with her skin tone being stark white that provides a high-contrast backdrop for the dark clothing and red accents, and deep reddish-brown (auburn) hair in both her vessel and succubus forms. Her face has dark, hollow eyes with large eyelashes, her visible left eye is stylized with a pitch-black sclera and a glowing, intense red iris/pupil, that only her pale chin and lower face are visible beneath her bangs, showing a small, neutral mouth and dark vertical tears running down her cheeks. Her hair is exceptionally long, voluminous, and messy, cascading past down her hips, and a heavy, jagged bang drape completely over her right side of her face, obscuring her right eye. Two pairs of dark, curved horns sprout from her head, the inner, primary pair curves sharply upward and inward like a crescent, while a smaller, outer pair curves outward. Both sets glow with a bright, incandescent red aura at their tips and bases.

In her “preferred vessel” form, Estella transforms herself into a feminine version of a Shy Guy, or rather a Shy Gal, her face and skin continuing to be stark porcelain white, and her mouth is a tiny, simple dash, replicating how a regular Shy Guy/Shy Gal’s mouth looks on their masks. Her upper body features an oversized, dark maroon hooded sweatshirt, the hood worn up over her head, framing her large hair silhouette and culminating in a slightly drooping point at the back with a jagged, stylized tip. At the center of her chest, the hoodie features a heart-shaped cutout, tightly framed by crossing black harness structures that emphasizes her hourglass upper frame, and the hoodie terminates short around her hips, fastened at the base with a simple, dark belt and a square buckle. She wears stark white thigh-high stockings that contrast against her very pale skin, with black garter straps extending down from beneath the hoodie hem and connecting to the stockings via small, glowing circular red rivets. From the mid-thigh down, her legs are encased in solid black leggings with her feet terminate in rounded, blocky dark maroon shoes.

As for her “succubus” form, Estella wears a tight, glossy black bodysuit that leaves her sides exposed, the material on the suit is embedded with numerous glowing, reddish-pink oval gems or eye-like pods. On her abdomen, the black outfit features a prominent cutout in the shape of a broken heart, exposing her white skin beneath. She features exaggeratedly wide hips and thighs, the black bodysuit transitions into thigh-high stockings held up by thin, dark garter straps attached to red diamond-shaped clasps. Her legs are entirely encased in the glossy black, organic material, which is densely peppered with glowing, red oval eye-like pods from her thighs down to her feet. Finally, the legs taper down into sharp, pointed, heel-less stilts rather than traditional feet, glowing with intense red energy at the tips.

A large pair of tattered, bat-like demonic wings extends from her back, mostly pitch-black with a glossy sheen and feature glowing red veining or cracks along the top edges. The wing membranes are heavily torn, featuring large decorative holes and ending in sharp, claw-like prongs. A long, slender black tail emerges from behind her back, looping gracefully downward in a wide circle that terminates in a classic spade-shaped tip, which glows with a soft red outline.

Backstory:

Demeter, said to be the very “first” and one of the oldest succubi in the fiery depths of Hell, gave birth to three daughters: Estella the somewhat mean but artistic succubus, Melania who is well-known enough to be the oldest daughter in the succubus family (according to her), Izzy the lusty but nerdy succubus, and finally... Rosemarie the most innocent and youngest succubus. Each of the four daughters have their own distinct personalities and appearances, some are still working out their powers like Rosemarie while others like Estella have managed to succeed.

Contrary to popular belief, Estella is the true eldest daughter of Demeter, being the first born instead of Melania. Interestingly, she has an unusual genetic trait where she was born as an Albino succubus—a very rare occurrence that happens to succubi, only happening if a mother absorbs an insufficient number of souls before giving birth to their first child. Albino succubi typically have a very quiet and aloof nature if they are constantly lacking sufficient energy, as if their nature lacks any energetic mood.

Despite this however, Estella holds up well; she has learned to use her metabolism to conserve energy and despite her aloofness, she strives to be a caring figure in her family for both her mother and sisters. After learning about her older sister Melania's work (recreating a parasitic virus’ world from scratch), Estella reluctantly transferred over to the Nintendo universe, jumped into Melania’s digital world, and chose Shy Gal as her vessel.

Her vessel was strangely chosen by out of personal principle, but due to the awkward proportions of her tall frame, she's more like a Shy Gal, a fanmade humanoid version of the Shy Guys from Super Mario Bros 2, created by a popular internet fan-artist [minus8] (though she'll likely adapt her body better in the future). Her exact purpose in Melania's game is still unclear, but uh... let's assume that she spies on the victim stuck in the game, like a stalker that’ll only be seen at the corner of your eye before disappearing, and report any changes to either her sister Melania or her mother Demeter.

Personality:

Estella is perhaps one of the more experienced members in Melania’s family, basically having the personality of a moody teenager in a way. She herself is actually more interested in doing artwork than killing people and stealing their souls. Estella grew interested in her mother’s artwork and many others that were created by human beings over the years. She’s someone who takes art very seriously, taking commissions and earning money from her work. In a more personal explanation, Estella is sassy and somewhat rude, having a large ego while showing off her art towards others that love it. She doesn’t take criticism well however, but she takes constructive advice well and listens to what they think.

Estella has a red energy hue that represents a serene feeling—a serious disposition where she rarely ever resorts to romance—when attacking their prey, they are often cold-blooded. Serene succubi need to get to know their partner better and trust them before entering into a serious relationship, so Estella hasn't found a potential boyfriend yet. She does have her duties of being a lustful and insidious succubi, but she is perhaps someone who isn’t interested in her main job.

Her favorite pastime is searching for elegant outfits that accentuate her charm, which is where she's often seen in dresses or robes. Whenever she isn’t doing her hobbies, Estella would be busy training Rosemarie in human hunting, or discussing plans with Melania to redirect succubuses into the digital realm.
