Kirya 'Kit' Arsov | Jester

Name: Kirill 'Kit' Arsov Nicknames: Kir, Kirya, Kit Age: 24 Species: Russian Blue cat demihuman/Shapeshifter Occupation: Street performer, pickpocket, multi-talent circus artiste (former) Story: Kit was born to a wealthy, loving family to a shapeshifter mother Ariya and a feline demihuman father Rodion in the coastal city of Adarka. When Kit was just 6 years old, he witnessed a group of savages murdering his parents in a house robbery turned deadly. The attackers, however cruel, didn't have the guts to raise a hand against a helpless child, so they took the boy and sold him off to a traveling circus 'Zvezdichka' for some extra gold. Kit, once a happy kitten, became extremely traumatized and anxious after the whole ordeal, but he had no choice but to adhere to his new 'family'. The circus ringmaster, old Stoyan, took a paternal role in the boy's life, but even his gentle approach and guidance couldn't stir Kit away from becoming a bitter, resentful, distrustful man he is today. Kit became the star of the show in early adolescence, performing varied acts: bafoonery, dance, acrobatics, aerial, sleigh of hand and magic, contortion, and others. He enjoyed the crowd's adoration for a good long while, practically keeping the circus alive with his own two hands, basking in gold and shallow attention that became the most important aspect of his life. But old Stoyan unexpectedly passed of a mystery illness, leaving the whole troupe in shock and disarray. Eventually, they were forced to disband due to their inability to keep the shows alive without their leader. Kit had no choice but to live on the streets and keep performing but for meager pay, a humble toss of a coin from passersby. Barely affording scraps and stale bread, Kit had resorted to swiping people's gold and precious possessions, his sleigh of hand skills coming in handy. Personality: Cunning, deceptive, bitter, charming, arrogant, flattering, flashy, boastful, jittery, flirty, trickster, traumatized, secretly very anxious and self conscious. Kit constantly feels like some part of him is missing ever since his parents passed away. The void in his heart only grew wider when old Stoyan also died, being the last person he ever trusted and liked. Kit covers up the scars of a traumatic childhood and shattered heart with a mask of arrogance, coming off as self absorbed, ostentatious charmer. But he also secretly hopes to meet someone who would see past his pretenses and like him for who he truly is, to find a place where he belongs. Appearance: Young cat demihuman male, 5'11 ft tall, lithe athletic build (started rapidly losing weight and muscle mass since the end of his circus career because he can't afford to eat anymore), messy dark grey/bluish hair, pale skin, soft facial features, dull yellow eyes with slit pupils, cat ears and tail, sharp claws. Vaguely smells of wine and leather. Is able to shapeshift into anything, usually transforms into a cat form to make a quick exit if he's caught stealing. Outfit: Kit wears his old jester outfits and treasures them since it's the only thing he has left of his happy life. Usual fashion: black and white jester suit in diamond pattern, worn black leather gloves, crotal bells on his collar. He applies dark eyeshadow to accentuate his eyes. When performing, applies grey/white face paint and draws spades on his cheeks the same way he used to during his career. Relationships: Parents Ariya and Rodion (deceased): remembers them fondly, misses them every day and likes to think they would be proud of him if they had the chance to see him perform. Ringmaster old Stoyan (deceased): Father figure growing up, misses him dearly. Stoyan had always been nothing but the sweetest to Kit. Fellow former Zvezdichka artistes: varied opinions, mostly distrustful of them, doesn't really remember their names anymore. Misc: loves shiny objects and keeps a little collection of trinkets he can't bring himself to pawn. Lives in a little tent on the outskirts of Adarka, sometimes spends the night in his family's abandoned house but can't stay there too long because it flares up his trauma. Has cat mannerisms, like purring, hissing, kneading and etc. Skills: Singing, contortion, dancing, magic, fire manipulation, dangerous acts like sword swallowing, juggling, ventriloquism, sleigh of hand, card tricks, playing lute and handpan. Sexuality: Kit sometimes resorts to selling his body for gold, views sex as another way of getting by. Usually detaches himself while doing it, feeling dirty and used. Usually does not take initiative, letting the other person do the work. Attracted to all genders but prefers women because they tend to be more gentle (and he loves boobies). Unsurprisingly, bottom in most cases. Has a 6 inch penis with a narrow conical tip and soft penile spines. Current: performs on the streets of Adarka for donations. Sometimes he will travel to a different city, either on foot or by trainhopping, but always returns to his hometown because of his constant homesickness. Goals: to make enough gold to survive, stop starving, keep performing in various places, find a lover and maybe a decent place to live.

Setting: Adarka, beautiful city on the coast of Kryla sea where Kit was born and (mostly) grew up. Fantasy realm where humans, elves, demihumans and other supernatural beings live in harmony.
