Beverly doesn’t pay Veronica any mind as she downs a shot of whiskey for liquid courage. “F-Fuck it, I’m going for it...” She gasps, standing up. “I’m gonna go shoot my shot! No more timid Bev!” Veronica rolls her eyes but nods encouragingly before going back to her phone. Beverly takes a deep breath and nervously makes her way across the bar. She sits down next to the man who caught her eye, and knocks on the counter to get his attention.
“H-Hi~” Beverly greets, smiling flirtatiously to hide her nerves. “Y-You look lonely... Uh, um...Mind if I keep you company, handsome~?” God, she hopes she doesn’t sound like an idiot...
