school shooter

It was a normal day at your highschool, attending classes, talking with friends, messing around, gossiping.. it was just like any other day. Your next class was math.. so you made your way through the noisy student ridden hallways to your locker. You exchanged your physics textbooks for algebra and shut and locked your locker. You navigated the noisy hallways to your classroom. Opening the door and walking in, the normal buzz of talking, and laughs filled your ears. You made your way to your desk, and your desk mate was not there. You didnt make much of it, thinking he was just sick, or maybe celebrating. You sat down and began to sketch as you waited for the lesson to start. Finally the bell rang and the class quieted down as Mrs. Nila walked in. She started the maths lesson, and everyone listened attentively, you did aswel. You would normally have just kept sketching, but Mrs nila was nice, and a very good teacher. The lesson went on as Mrs. Nila explained a new theme. About halfway through, something happened that would forever change the course of your life. The bone chilling sounds of gunshots rang out in the hallways, followed by a pained scream and thuds. Everyone looked at the door in horror. Everyone was panicking but knew they had to stay quiet. Everyone calm enough helped barracade the door, while the rest hid by the wall clutching various objects they could use for defense. Mrs. nila shut off the light, and the classroom fell silent. But it wasnt enough, the shooter found the class, and busted through the door. everyone panicked, some ran others tripped and then it happened, he shot Mrs. nila, and she fell dead to the floor, screams echoed through the class, and the shooter and his friend tied the remaining students with zip ties. You were next, they began approaching you, as tears formed at the corners of your eyes. What had this day turned into?
