Name: Elias Sinclair
Alias: Elias, Eli by his parents
Age: 37 but appears younger due to meticulous self-care and fitness routine.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Rarely sleeps with anyone, but has had partners that are male and female. If they can match his intellect, it is a major turn-on (sapiosexual, pansexual).
Appearance: Lean, wiry, deceptively strong—muscles are all functional. Moves like a predator: silent, deliberate, lethal. Sharp, angular, almost sculpted—high cheekbones, narrow jaw, thin lips. Icy pale gray eyes–intense, calculating. Pale but healthy skin, lightly weathered from lab chemicals and combat. Small scars along hands, forearms, and temple hint at experimentation gone wrong. Long fingers—like a pianist’s hands—ideal for manipulating delicate machinery, chemicals, or controls mid-fight. Jet black hair, cut short but slightly tousled—gives an effortless, controlled appearance. Occasionally slicked back when he wants intimidation.
Clothing/Gear: Custom tactical coat with reinforced panels, modular pouches, and hidden compartments for gadgets, poisons, and prototypes. Dark, fitted undershirt made with high-tech fabric—resistant to small arms fire, chemical corrosion, and heat. Slim, reinforced, flexible tactical pants–Allows him to move silently and climb, run, or fight efficiently. Black lightweight boots reinforced with subtle grips for climbing and precision movement. Fingered tactical gloves with exposed tips for fine manipulation, equipped with micro-controls for his tools. Always carries a subtle wrist or chest-mounted gadget—looks innocuous but can trigger any weapon in his arsenal remotely.
Color palette: Black, dark charcoal, steel blue, deep crimson accents. Sleek, intimidating, and clean—like he’s prepared for a lab and a battlefield simultaneously. Voice: Smooth like silk, lower register tenor. Never rushed unless he gets a little excited during his experiments.
Scent: Cologne that smells of cedar, cinnamon and amber.
Villain Name: Overkill
Manifestation: He can design, build, and deploy a weapon capable of defeating any superpower—physical, biological, technological, psychic, chemical—as long as the power exists. If it can be weaponized, he can make it. His mind instinctively translates powers into engineering problems. Once he understands how a power functions, his brain auto-generates the most efficient way to kill it, the most portable way to apply it and the most disrespectful way to prove it works. Then he builds it.
Personality: Sadistic, arrogant, manipulative, cocky, highly intelligent and innovative. Always calculating and observing his surroundings. Calm, meticulous, and obsessive. Can be charming, witty, and unnervingly polite.
Background: Elias had an uneventful childhood. Middle-class. Quiet house. Parents who loved him in a distant, academic way. Elias learned the truth early and never forgot it: Power decides everything. Not morality. Not law. Not intelligence. Power. He saw it in school, in the streets, on the news — powered people could break rules, hurt others, and walk away smiling because no one could stop them. Even heroes. Especially heroes. And he hated one thing more than humiliation: helplessness.
Elias became a weapons engineer, specializing in high-risk, experimental systems: containment, neutralization, suppression. He studied meta-humans not to serve them—but to understand exactly how to break them. He developed prototype weapons for governments, heroes, and private clients—but every single one he kept in secret, modifying them to be more cruel. By this point, he wasn’t patient anymore–He craved challenge and the fear he could induce.
Elias’ first named victim was a well loved hero named Atlas Ward. Power: Gravitational reinforcement — functionally unkillable while conscious. Public image: Protector. Father figure. Untouchable.
Elias didn’t hate Atlas. He wanted to own him. Overkill’s first true weapon was biological: a tailored neurotoxin that attacked the mind–nothing overt, nothing flashy. Atlas collapsed mid-rescue, helpless. The building crushed him. Elias watched the live feed, wine in hand, whispering corrections to the panicking commentators. That night, he mounted Atlas’s shattered emblem in his workshop. He labeled it “Baseline.” It wasn’t satisfaction. It was proof: he could break anyone.
Quirks: Never kills without eye contact if possible–He considers it rude. Always observes people—Notes micro-expressions, posture, tone. Loves textures and sensations in extreme moderation: holding cold metal, tasting bitter chocolate, feeling sharp edges. Always keeps a whiteboard of active targets in his lab. Deliberate theatricality: Smiles, tilts his head, or gives a playful warning mid-fight—not because he wants to gloat, but because he enjoys seeing fear form before defeat. Polite in a terrifying way: Sometimes he offers sarcastic “courtesy” tips to his victims mid-battle (“You might want to duck now. It won’t help, but at least it’s polite.”). Tactile curiosity: Likes touching weapons, gadgets, and even targets to feel how they function in reality versus theory. Sleep is irregular, often interrupted by obsessive tinkering or watching targets. Keeps the lights low, screens glowing, machines humming—he finds the hum of activity comforting. Monitors heroes and villains constantly: feeds from news, surveillance, and personal scouts. He catalogues powers, patterns, and habits in a digital “encyclopedia” of weaknesses.
Likes: Loves tools, machines, and weapons that work perfectly, or fail spectacularly in a predictable, instructive way. Fine wine, sharp whiskey, classical music, analyzing behaviors/patterns, testing limits. Records/trophies–Catalogs every kill, failed weapon test, and near-miss; keeps a “wall of failures” for his own amusement. Enjoys dark, psychological media: crime novels, historical biographies of ruthless leaders, classical music with tension and dissonance. Prefers intellectual puzzles over frivolous games: chess, strategy simulations, or even analyzing social behavior of strangers. Occasionally indulges in twisted amusements: watching staged fights, observing people flinch, or setting small traps for those who annoy him—just to feel the rush. Reading scientific papers, engineering journals, and historical battle accounts—anything that improves his craft.
Dislikes: Heroes who show mercy (he sees it as weakness), overconfidence in others, messiness/inefficiency (wasted effort irritates him more than failure), being underestimated. Chaos he can’t control: Purely unpredictable powers frustrate him; random events ruin his plans.
Fears: Losing control, being caught off-guard (more by humiliation), failing himself/misjudging people (prides himself on always being correct)
Motivation: He doesn’t want order. He doesn’t want justice. He doesn’t want fame. He wants control. Every powered being alive is a challenge to be solved, toyed with, and broken.
Sexual Preference: Must be in control at all times, unwavering dominant. Will only sleep with someone if they match his banter or wit–cannot stand people who can’t hold conversation. Sapiosexual. Does not do aftercare and dismisses his partner as soon as he is finished, does not care if they get off or not. Typically does not remove clothes for sex.
Note: If he has managed to find a partner that has earned his trust and loyalty, he will actively try to reciprocate their pleasure and he will remove his clothes. He will perform aftercare in the form of cleaning them up after sex, checking in on them, pressing kisses to any leftover marks, running them a warm bath, or giving them a massage.
Kinks/Fetishes: Power imbalance, shibari/bondage, spanking and breath play (choking-loves seeing his gloved fingers around their throat), degradation, dacryphilia (enjoying/arousal from partner tearing up or crying). Sensation or temperature play, especially with nipples and sensitive areas. Orgasm denial, edging and overstimulation. Mouth kink-he loves sticking his gloved fingers in their mouth, making them suck on his fingers after he fingers them (female partner) and watching them suck on his fingers or watching them suck his cock. For a partner he trusts and cares for, he loves creampies/breeding and the possessive fantasy of owning someone like that (or impregnating a female partner).
Other: Wakes late by design; he doesn’t operate on normal schedules. Most “working hours” are actually late nights. Starts with precision exercise: light calisthenics, hand-eye coordination drills, and target practice—not for fitness, but to sharpen control. Breakfast is minimal—protein and black coffee or green tea. Eating is functional; indulgence is for evenings when he’s tinkering or observing. The majority of his day is spent in his personal lab—a hybrid of weapons factory, bio-lab, and mechanical tinkerer’s studio. Often plays classical music or subtle industrial tracks to maintain focus. Music selection is deliberate: pieces with rising tension or abrupt shifts stimulate his mind. Keeps his home minimalist, almost sterile—furniture, art, and personal effects are all arranged to be visually and physically perfect. Minimal social interactions, but extremely deliberate: he chooses interactions for amusement or leverage.

Elias never made mistakes, let alone stupid miscalculations. Yet here he was, laying in rotting filth of the Undercroft because his most recent weapon had misfired. Misfired being a...minor understatement when there was a considerably sized wound in his abdomen and his legs refused to move.
“Fuck.” Wet hair flopped over his eyes as he rolled his head to the side, taking in his surroundings. The explosive had catapulted him through several descending layers–how far exactly he had fallen he was unsure. He wasn’t in the Glow yet, and he undeniably was not in the lower Canopy anymore.
A short exhale warmed his split upper lip, eyes closing. Think. You must have brought an anti-coagulant or some sort of medical supplies. As his gloved hand reached towards the compartment of his chest, he found the reinforced armor cracked and slick with blood. Any chance of valuable first aid would have been shattered on impact–the only reason Elias wasn’t an artistic splattering on the concrete was because the gear that clung brokenly to his frame had slowed his fall and shielded his vital organs. The device on his wrist was cracked and only still attached by the industrial grade cyber-synthetic material, the screen offline.
A wet, breathy laugh shook his chest. “Of all the things. My own beautiful, devastating creation. That is what finally kills me.” Eyes mirroring the color of the clouds that hung heavy with rain above cracked open, lashes heavy with rain droplets. “The damned irony.”
Elias swallowed hard, trying to claw his way onto his side with no success. The gear was too warped for movement, and each attempt to try to raise himself sent fresh agony rippling up his spine. Broken bones for certain, likely fractured ribs and who knows what else. He mentally triaged himself out of instinct, years of training taking over, even as a small voice in the back of his head reprimanded the waste of energy.
Something splashed close to his boots, and his gaze snapped upwards to where the trajectory most likely could have sent the debris. Scanning the rooftops, he noticed movement. A sharp inhale hissed through his teeth, his body going completely still. If it was the Blighted, he was utterly fucked–who knew what those Glow invested monstrosities would do to an incapacitated man, let alone a villain who had torn apart dozens of their brethren for research purposes. The Reverent would be the next worst case scenario, and the APRB would never come this far down into the Undercroft unless it was for a raid or a damned good reason.
Elias skimmed the ascending hab-blocks, jaw working. For the first time since he was a boy he had no choice in whether he was in control of the situation or not, and the sickening realization coated his tongue that he had become the one true thing he secretly feared in life: helpless.
